If you are in Honolulu, you have to stop on in! Cute, quaint, and intimate resturant. The line moves quickly, staff are friendly, and the food is amazing. Great food with vegan options. The pricing is on the higher end but definitely worth it. The pictures speak for themselves.

Good spot for breakfast or lunch. We had lunch here, I ordered the potato salad but couldn't eat it, because the olives still had some pits in them and I was afraid to crack my teeth. Vegan tamale was good, beans and yucca as well. Also my husband had a beef sandwich and he said it was delicious. Fair price for good food.

I’ve walked by this cafe many times and today I decided to try it. What a delight! I ordered the Avocado Toast with a side of ham and a cappuccino. The presentation was amazing and the taste even better. It was made to order with fresh ingredients and I could taste it. The olive bread was a nice surprise. I love it when a design (today’s design was a leaf) is made in the milk on the cappuccino.

I can't put into words how delicious, filling, and aesthetic this brunch was! We went right before 10am on a weekday and didn't have to wait at all. I'm more into savoury breakfasts so the breakfast special Croque Senorita was delicious (had some truffle in there!). The tres leches French toast was also super yummy, with the bread tasting really fresh and dense. The pears used were also super crispy. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you, so don't forget to tip before you leave (:

We had a take-out. Coffee lids are not closing and we noticed this after 5 out of 8 family members having coffee stains on their clothes. Hot sandwich was really good, but the avocado toast with hummus was bizarre and tasteless. Having two heavy textured ingredients avocado & hummus was not so pleasant in mouth. We had to throw away a new one as nobody wanted to eat.

Loved this little café/restaurant! Some of the best food presentation I’ve seen! We ordered a few dishes and a bowl of fruit, it was all fresh and delicious. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. Castor’s probably had the best cappuccino on the island, I enjoyed a few after my runs. My wife also enjoyed their Mocha. Everyone in the restaurant was nice and the facility is clean. I highly recommend visiting Castro’s if you are in the area.

Just dropped in for a cortado. It was spot on. Food being served looked amazing. Will be back Update 9-10-21. Amazing ! This place is a MUST eat (pictures of our AMAZING Breakfast). The Papaya bowl is maybe the perfect breakfast item in Waikiki! The staff are helpful and very friendly.

Castro’s was awesome! The food plating is beautiful, very small picturesque. All their food have vibrant colors from the fruits and everything we tried was delicious. We stopped by for brunch and had a great time. I would highly recommend the brisket sandwich as it was delicious. Definitely will be coming back here again.

The best avocado toast you will have in your life, and that’s just based on taste alone — the presentation, details, and freshness of the ingredients were absolutely delightful. The olive bread was thick, fluffy, and filling. Given the quality, I was surprised that my order didn’t take much time to hit the table. The staff is just as friendly as they are efficient. I can’t wait to return and try other dishes. This is definitely a staple restaurant.

Cute spot for lunch. Seating is a little snug, but we managed to find a spot after ordering. They have a local, small menu. I enjoyed the Viejo Roja and my partner loved the Cubano. We didn’t need to order anything beyond the sandwich to feel satiated. The juice of the day was yummy, too. It was kind of annoying how the employees kept chitchatting with another table and therefore encroached on our dining space while we were eating.

Wow, the food here is AMAZING! So well presented and so delicious! We had 3 different people ask us what our meal was called/how it was because it just looked so good! We had the French toast, get it! The service was a little slow because the person working the counter was also making the coffees, but everyone was super friendly and going as fast as they could! We will definitely be back!

We only stopped by for coffee to go because we wanted more beach time and there was a solid crowd, BUT we originally went there for food which all looked incredible! The iced mocca and iced cappuccino were average, so I wouldn't go there just for drinks, BUT will certainly return for food! The service was quick and very efficient even with the crowd on a Sunday morning.

The food here is AMAZING! We tried the Tres Leches French Toast and OMG 🤩. The presentation is beautiful but the flavor is even better. The serve the plate with fresh exotic fruits. We also got The Cubano Sandwich and it was delicious as well. The atmosphere is nice, and the staff are very attentive.

Castro's has a very relaxed atmosphere and food. It focuses on cuban breakfast and lunch foods. I ordered a traditional Cuban meal with a side of local fruit and a Plantation yerba mate to drink. The food came after about 15 minutes. The fruit was fresh and perfectly ripe. The traditional was delicious and hot. The sausage and egg great. The potatoes could use a touch of salt for my tastes but we're still good. Overall, all our orders were outstanding and looked great. I would recommend and will be going again in the future.

I got the Cuban breakfast and it was amazing. You have a choice between beans or fruit, definitely get the fruit. It's not your standard fruit bowl. Lots of fresh local fruits. The staff works hard and has a smile while doing so. Music playing sets the mood while you enjoy your Cuban inspired meal.

AMAZING food! Everyone of us (7) had a different meal from the menu and we were all very impressed. The Cuban coffee is also delicious. The fruit is very fresh. Service was also great!! Very happy

What a great little find near my hotel. First and foremost, GREAT coffee. It has great menu that makes it hard to choose. I had the ham and cheese sandwich and it o e of the tastiest toasties I have ever had. If you are un Waikiki, Casteo's is a must for quick coffee, breakfast or lunch, or if you are lucky all 3. STRONG RECOMMENDATION 💪

This was one of the best meals I've had! Our hotel charges $17 for oatmeal. Here i was able to get the shrimp and crab toast with caviar for $24. Presentation is out of this world and the taste is unreal! The chefs know how to combine flavors in unexpected ways that make you delight with every bite. Fresh pressed juices were perfect and the coffee so good! I cannot recommend this place enough. Do not hesitate to try this restaurant.

This restaurant is in the heart of Waikiki, which is the most busy touristy location on the island. I was initially very intrigued by their food pics, which looked dainty and delicate, but I have to say I was quite disappointed this morning both by the food and drinks and by the service. Wanting to try as many types of food as I can while dining alone (which is never easy), I asked the lady taking my order if I order two items for their menu would it be too much portion for one person. She suggested me to get the papaya bowl and the avocado toast and said that both won’t be much portion wise. When the food was served, I was astonished by the portion of the actual dish. Each one of them looked like can feed two to three people. Shocked, I still tried my best to eat the food but eventually I had to take tons of leftover back to the hotel, stressed about wasting food. The taste of the dishes were really mediocre at its best. The toast was oily and the papaya bowl was gigantic and very carelessly prepared. The yogurt on top was way too sweet and the fruits were not fresh. The iced coffee was really gross and overly sweet. Really regret wasting $50 at this restaurant and can not recommend this to others.

Crunchy rolls filled with mouthwatering meats, cheese, and toppings. A tres leches French toast that can't be beat. That's what you'll find here at this outdoor taste of Cuba. So good we came twice on our 6 nights visit to Waikiki. And this is the only place I've ever been that served winged beans... Ever. You can't go wrong with anything here. Also, they don't advertise it but the hot sauce is unique and gives a wonderful kick to the richness if the sandwiches.

The tres leches French toast and the avocado toast were amazing! Beautiful presentation, elevated taste. We were pleasantly surprised by how amazing everything tasted and our kids loved it too. The mango butter on the bread plate was also delicious. And to top it all off we didn't have to wait, although this place got busy after we got there. Definitely a hidden gem, would highly recommend this place!

Absolutely amazing! Such delicious flavors all mixed together, and the food presentation is so beautiful. I will visit multiple times EVERY time I come to Waikiki!

We were only in Honolulu for a week. We liked Castro's so much the first time, we came back for seconds. The menu had a couple of good options for vegetarians and the portion sizes are quite generous. The coffee is also great. All-in-all a great experience.

Wow! Just had the best breakfast! Very large portions so come really hungry or share! Smoked salmon was double smoked under a glass tent before served; French toast came with local fruits and plantains - super fresh; papaya bowl was enough for 4 to sample. . . Real cuban heritage shines through - breakfast and lunch now- can't wait for their dinner menu - coming soon they promise.

Came here as a plan B option since Eggs n things had a 2 hour wait. Was a great backup! We got the papaya bowl and the something Vieja? Both were delicious. The fruit was super fresh and had the best mango I've ever had. The meat was juicy and tender with a ton fo flavor. Loved it! It's not self seating so make sure to put your name in at the register.

We stumbled upon this place when another place we had planned on was too busy. More expensive than we had planned, but AMAZING food with beautiful presentation. My friend had the salmon plate which came with smoke in the glass covering that smelled amazing, and I got the avocado toast which had all of my favorite flavors. Olive bread, black bean hummus, a perfect avocado, radishes, and a lovely herbed olive oil of some sort. Highly recommend!!

Incredible food, phenomenal coffee. Stumbled upon this place by accident and can confidently say it's some of the best food I've ever had. They've only been open for five weeks so we were able to get in quickly, but I guarantee this place will someday have a wait for over an hour just like all the other breakfast places nearby. The wait will definitely be worth it. It's a bit "pricey," but I am always willing to pay good money for good food. This was absolutely worthy of the price.

Had the fresh squeezed juice, egg sandwich and avocado toast, and was delicious! The portions were very generous and the service was fantastic. Also, this place is so great because there is no Waikiki crowd! We went about 8:30am on Saturday and didn’t wait at all and the service was constantly moving the whole time we were there. Highly recommend this place!
