Their food is very delicious. The owener's speciality is Wafu;Japanese pasta. My favorites are Matti pasta and Mentaiko pasta. In Hawaii, only a couple of places make Mentaiko pasta, so it's very rare and so good. The service is very friendly. I come here dinner time sometimes. Must try go and eat Wafu pastas here. The restaurant is new and very clean. They open at 10am, so I want to try the morning menu. There is parkin and also some street parking.

3 star at most. But closer to 2. the fresh oyster was bland... had very little taste. We had trouble finishing our order which never happens before. 6 for 20$ hamachi carpaccio. average. shrimp pasta with "pink sauce". Cheap scallops and shrimp. def. not 22$ Service was mixed. The lady was polite. The other one, the young hawaiian boy, threw the menu on our table and didnt even tell us the special. There r so many better options in honolulu for the same price point.

We had seen this place while actually dining else where and had a huge craving for an Italian dessert. So my first experience was stopping by and grabbing a tiramisu which was excellent. That first experience was great and the staff was warm and inviting so naturally we had to go back for dinner. Took a group of friends here from the mainland for the true test at dinner. We made a reservation just to be sure we got seated in a timely manner and for that day we probably didn't need it but always good to have it. We were seated right away after our vax card check of course. The place is very clean and inviting and we sat down for dinner. Friendly staff and everyone was masked and protected even in the kitchen. It's BYOB so if you want wine with your meal feel free to bring the bottles. They don't charge a cork fee and provide glasses and open it for you. We ordered some apps and dinner and everything came out perfectly and was delicious. I had the lasagna and while it was good I definitely think I'll branch out and explore the rest of the menu. Everyone definitely enjoyed their meal and dinner was a success. Def stop by and give them a try.

OMG!!! The oxtail soup is AMAZING!! Best soup I have ever had! My kids loved the fettuccini and chicken parm! The mushroom appetizer is so good. Highly recommend this Italian Asian Fusion gem! Great service and awesome ambiance!

My favorite place in town. I love to come here for Lamb. Few places in Honolulu that will serve lamb. I always get greeted at the door with a whole lot of professionalism. They always ask me what’s my preference, table or bar, even when I am alone. There’s usually a bit of people there. People love their food. Family oriented. Detail oriented service. Their menu is mostly italian food, but they also have seafood included in the menu. This is a true local ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ restaurant. Clean, ambient music, and easy to find parking.

Dined in last night. We came in quite late around 8:50, but they allowed us to be seated even though they close at 9:00 pm. I ordered the steak with pasta and it was delicious.... Easily one of the better steaks I've eaten even compared to other more expensive steak houses. The pasta was perfectly seasoned. Our server named Kai was excellent and he ensured we were well taken care of. The manager on duty was a very friendly lady. Together, they both ensured we enjoyed our meal. I definitely recommend! I will definitely be stopping by again. Mahalo! 🤙🤙 The best part was that the food was reasonably priced and over delivered on flavor... Fully exceeded any expectation!

The food was good but the restaurant lacks good service. We had a reservation and was seated much after and then forgot about for most of our stay. Our house bread was brought out after entrees and entrees were not brought out together. Could have been an off day for them but I would definitely give them a second chance because the food was yum.

Me and my best buddies have been dining here regularly because it's that good! I have a couple of favs but I haven't tried any dish I did not love. Ingredients are always fresh (we almost always order oysters) and the balanced flavoring and degree beef is prepared by Chef Mitchell's is second to none IMO. Service is consistently friendly and the decor is modern without being snobby. I also like to BYOB since I enjoy a few glasses of a specific Moscato with my meals without having to compromise on selection or to overpay, just like the choices and value pricing on their menu. I brought my small staff here and even though everyone was new to this restaurant, all of us left impressed with the quality and enjoyable, unforgettable experience. Free parking was also easy to find during dinner hours.

Don't know if I should let everyone know how great the food is here so I can always get a seat. Have been here several times and have never been disappointed with anything I ordered. Hole in the wall but fabulous food taste.

Service was nice and fast. The bread came out in a timely manner and all the food was really good. I appreciate their customer interaction. One of their regulars came in and they were having a good conversation like they were family, I appreciate when I see that. Will definitely go again

Slow day yet service and timing was sub par. One table got Bread during wait. We didn't until 15 mins in. It was hot and fresh though. No breakfast menu available at 1145. Please take that menu off the google site or have it say what days its avail. I hoped weekends and holidays, but alas no joy. One waitress seemed overwhelmed by takeout orders so maybe it's understaffing or slow opening that will fix itself. Review gets stars as food was good but took over 30 mins to arrive with only 2 parties present. If you choose to eat here, just order take out. Dining in is lackluster.

I'm a big fan of lasagna. I've ordered it in many restaurants over the years. Probably way too many. I also lived in Italy for a few years and so I'm a little snobby, I admit, when it comes to americanized italian food. But the lasagna I had here was EASILY the best I have ever had in my life. EVER. The sauce was amazing, it wasn't overly cheesy, just pure perfection. My husband's shrimp and scallop scampi was also a huge hit. And the calamari we had as an appetizer was cooked absolutely perfectly, not a second over or underdone. Unfortunately, I don't live in Honolulu or I would be back here on a weekly basis so I could try everything on the menu. This restaurant is absolutely worth checking out. Love, love, loved it.

Best kept secret in Honolulu. Everything we've had on the menu has been really good. They are busy during dinner. Go for lunch and you won't have to deal with the crowd. A must try.

“When you’re here, you’re family.” It’s the slogan for a certain Italian restaurant chain, but it should really be the slogan for LaCiccia. I can’t believe I haven’t already written a review!! My husband and I started dining here during the pandemic and it instantly became one of our regular go-to’s for a relaxing, no-fuss, Italian dinner. Amy is amazing and always remembers us, and admittedly, we don’t even come as often as we’d like. Her amazing memory really speaks to the level of customer service. We love LaCiccia and have brought our entire close friend group, even our visiting guests! It’s BYOB with a corkage fee so it’s great that you can bring your preferred libation. The portions are great/satisfying, the food is delicious, and the prices are even better! We love coming here for a relaxing, comfortable evening when we’re in the mood for good food and our favorite BYOB drinks. I can’t say enough good things. We’re going to make a better effort to dine in more often. We hope they stay in business forever!!

The place is really small so be patient, apparently reservations are preferred. The complimentary bread was fresh and awesome. The mushroom crostini was good, a little pricey but not bad. For 4 slices of baguette and 4 ounces of mushrooms I'd be ok for 8 bucks. I got the shrimp and scallops pink sauce. The scallops were a little overcooked but the shrimp were perfect. The sauce was very good We also got chicken parm which was really good. The tiramisu was some of the best we've had on island. I would give 3 or 4 stars however the service was excellent even with only 2 waitresses. They really put this place above all others.

Wow delicious!!! We got the shrimp and scallop pink pasta, fettuccine shrimp alfredo, chicken parm and the lamb. We won't order the chicken parm again. But the pink pasta had the greatest flavor! The kids devoured the alfredo. They were very kind to our kids. Wonderful service!

The service is terrible. We asked for a refill on water and watched the server bring glasses to other tables. We asked for additional butter to go with the bread, by the time the staff brought the butter we finished our meal. The food is good, but the service just drags down the dining experience.

Great food, over 20 dollars a person but worth it. The flavors of the sauce can't be beat. Had the oysters Rockefeller with a spicy garlic sauce on the side, yummy. Oxtail soup was good also with mud pie for dessert.

Menu said $15 corkage fee which is steep as is, but when we got the bill it was a $30 corkage fee! when we asked the waitress she said they changed it recently to a minimum $30 corkage fee, yet the menu did not reflect that. My bottle of wine didn’t even cost $30. Food was good but the $30 fee left a bad taste in my mouth and not a great surprise end to a meal. We left disappointed and will not be returning.

Good Italian‼️service staff were very nice, but only 2 of them…. Was with 3 other people we all loved our meals: think the best was the Sicilian sausage that is made by the chief! Then the king salmon with spinach was reportedly good as was the lasagna…. Chicken dish was sadly tough-sauce good! Shared tiramisu that was one of the best👍would return again‼️

As far as the service goes, they were very clear that they were quite busy and it would be a long wait for the food. They actually exceeded the expectations they set in timing and were consistently friendly when they interacted with us. However, the food was disappointing. Not terrible, but I wouldn't recommend anyone come here over another Italian restaurant. The fried mozzarella had a good, rich marinara sauce, but there was too much cheese and not enough breading, so the pieces flopped about and it mostly felt like just eating melted cheese. A good lasagna has a variety of textures: crispy top layer, firm noodles, plentiful meat, soft cheese and hearty sauce. The lasagna I was served was soft through and through. The flavor was fine but weak and not at all dazzling or complex. The serving was large but the amount of meat was quite small, and it was distributed unevenly. If a friend served me this I would nod politely and thank them. If I pay $20 for it at a nice restaurant, I give them a 3 star review and hope they do better next time. Again, they seem to be lovely people and gave a personal touch to the encounter, but delicious food is a prerequisite for a good review.
