A coffee shop where students come to study and get work done. I got myself a cafe latte and the wait was on the longer but that was understandable since it was jam packed and durning finals week. The latte I got was on the mellow side, perfect for drinking and chatting with some friend. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other things on their menu.

Surprisingly there aren't many cafés in Ala Moana so when I catch myself needing a place to grab a coffee and do some work, I'll stop at Island Brew. You can't go wrong with any of the beverages here and I love that there are a lot of options to choose from. My favorite thing to eat here is the basilito wrap + avocado. It's so simple, filling and delicious! I've tried their other sandwiches which are pretty good but my only complaint is that they are a bit over priced. As much as I would love to get work done here, only the tables in the back half of the cafe have outlets. There are no outlets at the tables near the entrance (where I like to sit because of the natural sunligjt coming in). The other bummer about this location is that there are no restrooms, so you have to walk to Bloomingdale's to use theirs. This location is convenient because it's at the mall but if I had to choose, the Hawaii Kai location is my favorite because of the beautiful views of the harbor :)

Really loved this tucked away gem inside of the Ala Moana Center. They are tucked away on the 3rd floor with extra seating in the back of the establishment. There were charging station for those working on their laptops. Customer service was great with prompt attention to each person as they came in. We got here just about as soon as it opened, and it filled quickly. Loved their cinnamon Danish, which was doughy and rich with cinnamon delightfulness! The coffee was piping hot and served in cute ceramic mugs if you got it "for here".

Island Brew is like an oasis in the Ala Moana Center. I almost gave up finding a place to get some work done, but then found Island Brew Coffeehouse based on the recommendation of a Center employee. I can only recommend coming here. Super relaxing (but productive) atmosphere and the coffee beverages are great too (especially the Hawaiian Honey Latte with Cinnamon) and reasonably priced.

The tea, food, and atmosphere that I experienced was amazing. Despite the long line, I was able to find seating right next to the water!

The best begal sandwich I've ever had, delicious and fresh. Don't bother adding ham. They only give you one slice of deli meat for a dollar.

If you hate bad service don’t ruin your day by stopping here. After many failed attempts to get a decent drink. The coffee is burned and the tea is watered down. But I leave bad reviews because of bad customer service though. This was on 11/2/23 at 9:22am. Almost everyone behind the counter except the girl on the register were rude and need to be fired or retrained. No one has manners here. I asked for a refund and never got it. I got a generic receipt with the refund amount and she tried to keep the tip I left. When I asked why my refund wasn’t on the receipt she replies, “oh you mean your generous tip.” In a sarcastic manner. I specifically asked for the refund because I tipped and wanted to make sure they don’t get a penny from me. People shouldn’t put up with bad customer service. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Stopped by today at 3:55 (11/25/2023). Could have given a zero star. Oat milk (as part of the matcha latte) was bad and still trying to sell it to us. Also got my order wrong. Never have I had a matcha latte that is so clumpy and tastes bad as well. I had to toss it away. What a waste of money and time and material!

Had an amazing outdoor seating area over looking the water. The cold brew and blueberry scone were very tasty. I also ordered a turkey pesto sandwich that was a generous size and was toasted to perfection. Everything was fairly priced, especially compared to other coffee houses around the island. They had a large menu with a surprising variety of breakfast foods. They even offered macadamia nut milk for your coffee, which I found to be very unique compared to other places.

What fun. Nice place to come kick it with some cool staff. This place is so laidback, keeping it real. Coffee is good, service is good, easy… cinnamon roll, so good. I’ll be back.

The food and coffee is excellent. I definitely recommend to make this at least a quick breakfast stop. The food comes out look nicer than this. I just couldn’t resist.

The food has always been great, however I had a terrible experience this time with one of the servers. She claims her name is Karen(blond hair). I ordered a banana strawberry waffle with whip cream, but she forgot to bring the whip cream. When I requested to have it, she gave me such a bad attitude and threw the plate onto the service table. She did not apologize at all saying “that’s enough for you”. I asked to see her manager, but she refused to disclose his/her information. If any of you knows, please let me know. I’d like to file a formal complaint on this staff.

Went here around 9am and there was no line. We ordered the Banana Macadamia Nut French Toast and the Taro Lox Bagel. Both were delicious. The french toast was made up of thick brioche bread slices and were soft and fluffy. The whip on top was not overly sweet which I liked. As for the bagel, they were generous with the lox, but overall nothing too special. The ambiance and overall atmosphere was nice and cozy👍🏼

A bit overhyped, the food is on par with other establishments in this price range. The difference would need to be in customer service and that's an area for improvement. The three girls working the morning of June 5th were the least bit customer service focused. Greetings that fell flat, lifeless interaction, not welcoming and looking like they all were just going through the motions. Most of what they were interested in was the conversation amongst themselves. Next time I want to pay $12 for Acai bowl, I'll go somewhere else.

My favorite coffee spot, easy parking access. I love the coffee selection , my favorite one is the raspberry Latte. So good! The Lox bagle is really good for a quick bite. I love the artwork inside , it's just overall a really quaint place.

Love the ambience here, great coffee menu, small food menu, but what food they do serve is upper level good, also quick friendly service (I went when every seat was filled and still got my food in less than 15 min). Good place to stop and chill while shopping or on your way to the Ala Moana Beach.

I got the croissant sandwich with bacon for $12, it was good but honestly for that price I could get a little bit more. The coffee is really good. I went in the early morning and they served me super fast. The nearest restroom is kind of far.

Service can be slow but their dark chocolate sugar free latte is awesome. Had a Macha latte that was pretty bad though.

It was a heartwarming and cozy place, not to busy and slight crowded. They brew good coffee but I had a oreo smoothie and that was tasty and delicious but small. The large is only 22oz and that's why I only gave them four stars but if you like to try new sensations, check it out.

Fantastic coffee. Both the raspberry mocha and the Haupia latte were amazing. Highly recommend.
