I am changing my five star review to one star due to a change in the business model of this coffee bar. There are two things I don't like about the new policy. 1) Prepay only. 2) Preorder only. It seems lots of businesses these days assume that every transaction performed over the internet is done flawlessly. Not so. On the other hand, walking up and ordering is 100% effective. This policy is for the ease of management, not the customers. Too bad. Used to love this place.

My favorite scone on the island. Toffee, Blueberry, and Peach are a few of my favorites ๐Ÿ˜‹. Bagels ; Blueberry, everything and more. Awesome Carrot cake ๐Ÿ˜‹. Pumpkin Crunch โžก๏ธAhhhhMazing. ๐Ÿ˜‹Breakfast Burrito's are very filling. ๐Ÿฅฐ. Hot caramel Latte. Yummy ๐Ÿ˜‹. Been coming here since 2005. 17 plus years ๐Ÿ˜

The best coffee on the island, hands-down. Their Expresso is strong and rich, and their whipped cream is actual whipped heavy cream and not the terrible aerosol canned store bought variety. My favorite is their iced mocha with whipped cream. They have fresh scones and local baked goods every day, but get there early because they sell out quickly. Parking is free in the adjacent lot. Unfortunately due to covid they've stopped their dine-in seating, but it's a great place to go for takeout. Lovely people.

Reviews were 1000% correct...a hidden gem; too bad I am SPREADING THE WORD....the only scones I will eat ever again; texture and taste like no other. Decided this Sunday to try the breakfast burritos, fruit bowl and fruit bowl with house granola...the breakfast burrito just the right size, delicioso egg filling with chunks of firm potato/bell pepper, surprising homemade yogurt, FRESH FRUITS and house granola. I am in heaven now but will return and return and return to try all items on their breakfast and lunch menu.

Their daily scones are a work of art, i don't even like scones and I would sell a kidney to eat these scones on the daily. I've been two different days and each time they knocked my socks off. The portion on the Ruben was very generous and the meat eat fresh, warm, and delicious. I had an espresso Thai thing too that was also delicious. Based on what I've already had I can only imagine everything else food wise is just as enjoyable. The staff is super friendly even when you're a little indecisive (sorry). I'm just sad I don't have one of these back home.

great veggie sandwiches, yummy muffins and if you like cheesecake, this is the place for you! A wonderful place to hang out in the neighborhood, especially when they show local artist's work on the walls. Since the pandemic, eat-in dining is no longer an option but they still offer great sandwiches, coffees, muffins, scones and cakes for take-out.

Some of the best coffee Iโ€™ve had on island. Really strong and delicious flavors and they have oat milk. I was very happy after having my cup this afternoon.

Wow. Hidden gem. Food was delicious, coffee was tasty, clean dining area and some parking around the side. If you can ignore the stacked tables in the corner and the semi-clutter feel behind the counter, you're going to love this place.

Great place for coffee and pastry (scones are great; the kinds change frequently). Sure Shot Shake is good. They make good waffles on the weekends. No wifi. Edit: their inside dining is currently closed for the foreseeable future. Their food and drink is still top notch, especially their scones.

I absolutely love this place. The food and desserts are always so consistently good, as are the staff and customers. Parking lot is small but have never had difficulty finding a stall. Their scones are what make them famous, but I always need to have a breakfast burrito if I go in the morning. What's in their display case always changes, but has never let me down. Even their yogurt and homemade granola is never a disappointment. Long live Sure Shot Cafe, Makiki's neighborhood gem :)

Literally the best coffee shop in the whole world. Their baked goods are out of this world. The best thing about sure shot is it is consistently delicious. I've grown up eating there and I have never been disappointed with anything on the menu. Best spot in HI for baked goods and coffee.

I really enjoy this coffee shop, the customer service is always great. Some of the food is mediocre. I recommend the sure shot shake, it's a blended espresso/ice cream drink super good. The pumpkin crunk is wonderful and always fresh. It's a little weird inside and seems like they never finished unpacking but it has charm. It's nice to just sit in there and eat your food and drink your coffee. This is one of my favorite coffee spots to go to. As far as the coffee is concerned, this place actually has real half and half/cream and it's nice and cold. They don't have those gross mini moos or artificial creamers. A lot of coffee shops on the island don't have real cream, this one does and I love it. It has a great atmosphere. I usually get a toasted bagel and cream cheese it nothing special but it does the trick. The oatmeal is pretty good too. On the weekends they have waffles. I was expecting them to be gross, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, it was actually one of the best waffles I have had on the island, and they make them to order. I would go with the waffles if you are going to try it out, they only serve them on Saturday and Sunday and I believe they start serving them at 9 a.m. They also have a variety of sandwiches, I have never tried them but they actually look pretty good. The prices are good unless you are getting baked goods, like the slices of pies or cakes, then it's easy to drop $15-$20 bucks. Overall everything is fresh and the customer service is great, it's a little hidden and has that cozy feel to it. It's my go to place!

Cute hole in the wall coffee/bakery shop. Great, friendly helpful workers. Great smells! Lived in Makiki long time and finally gave in and got me some scones and they were to die for :)

Havenโ€™t had the coffee but the pastry selection is great. The carrot cake is a local favorite but everything is delicious and made by Sure Shot bakers in-house. Perfect place to get out of the sun.

A little off the beaten path but definitely a gem among rocks. The atmosphere here is unbelievably pleasant, I feel like I've been transported to New York with the bagel options, which this place is known for. I've been here before but not in the morning like my last visit. I ordered the granola and fruit bowl, as well as the con panna. Both of these were excellent!

My go to spot when I wake up! ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Great coffee rolls and sandwiches! Friendly, fast service. Great spot for a roll and a cup of coffee! I highly recommend Sure Shot Cafe!

Friendly neighborhood coffee shop. It's a bit out of my way, but when I have a bit of time in the morning, I like stopping here after work. Coffee and espresso drinks are on point and the pastries are so dang delicious.
