Today I grabbed a latte on my way to work and it had a burnt taste (not the first time) I tried to drink it but I couldn’t stand the taste so I threw away the $7 drink. I decided To call and let them know so other people don’t have to have a bad coffee to start their day. Worker laughed and responded sarcastically when I told them about the burnt taste. Definitely won’t be wasting my money there anymore. Over priced and Poor quality coffee, poor service. A lot of other better quality coffee shops around. Mahalo

This coffee shop is amazing! So, delicious drinks, I definitely recommend to grub a cup of coffee here! Cafe Mocha was incredibly delicious, I liked it so much. The service was great, and atmosphere of the coffee shop was nice.

The place is very small and there are very few seats outside. However, the coffee and food was great. Even more, the people over there were very cordial and friendly. Will definitely visit again Ordered: Veggie omelette Vegan burrito The sauces were awesome!!

Comfy little cafe tucked away for you to stumble upon. The food here is so fresh and delicious, and they offer great coffee options. The best part, you can have them transfer a photo of your choice to your beverage's foam! I got such a kick out of this service! I will definitely be coming here again soon!

Coffee was great! Outside area was nice. Glad to see they have a vegan option! It wasn't on their website but they have it on the menu in store.

Been here 2 times. Once in 2020 and again today. The oatmilk latte is delicious and you can custom print the foam! Food is extra yum and the coffee was great. Outdoor seating is limited if busy, but nice views.

Very lively place. Staff is friendly. Menu is limited but good healthy stuff specially because we are vegetarians. We ordered power wrap and veggie bagel and both were delicious. Their coffee is great and they do some cool pictures on the coffee. Overall highly recommend this place.

If you need coffee or a quick bite, look no further than Local Joe! Friendly and excellent service! The iced vanilla latte was perfect. The espresso was bold (no detectable nutty notes, if you don’t like that) and balanced perfectly with the milk and syrup. We also ordered the vegan breakfast burrito, which was flavor packed! Be advised it is a little spicy, but so delicious. Overall, fantastic place and we will be sure to return.

Bagel and lox special was very yummy. I also had the foggy bottom cold brew and it’s now my new go-to order. Very comfortable to sit and work at or enjoy some coffee and reading.

Their oat milk flat white is seriously delicious, and the folks there are super friendly and welcoming. So swing by and treat yourself to a top-notch coffee experience, and maybe even snag some of their freshly roasted beans to take home with you.

Super cute little coffee shop! The menu had a variety of food and drinks, and the prices were very good especially for a place downtown. Atmosphere and employees were amazing. Not very much seating because it is a small shop, but the area is maintained very well. Street parking nearby is not hard to find and free. I got the French toast latte and the croissant breakfast sandwhich.sandwich. Super yummy!

Good location, not good service.

PARKING: there is parking available right in front of the cafe or to the side (city parking) OR you can always park along side on the yellow lines! (No, they don't validate parking) I've been coming to Local Joe for a minute now and they never disappoint. From friendly faces, to great drinks to bomb dot com foods. Local Joe's has definitely become da spot to bring friends from the island or visiting. Thank you Charles for making a good environment for your employees and that we as customers enjoy coming to. Amazing coffee & love the food. My family that visits from Chicago will only come here for coffee now and tell everyone who visits to get the turkey sandwich and bring back coffee. I am obsessed with the large iced breve latte. Unlike some other cafes, they actual give you more shots of espresso when you go from a medium to a large iced. It tastes amazing with no sweetener added. I grab the turkey bacon burrito before work and eat half at the start of my day and it is so large I still have half left for lunch. Also the guava strudel and banana bread are delicious.

My favorite place for good coffee. This is a must try place!!!! I’ve been to many coffee shops in Honolulu. This is my absolute favorite because, they roast the beans fresh in the shop daily. As soon as you walk up, there’s a wonderful aroma that greets you within the block. The coffee is bold, strong and flavorful. I highly recommend this place give it a try and they sell their freshly roasted beans here too, So you can take home a fresh bag of coffee beans.

Really great cafe place with their own roasting and very good cafe options as well as food. Great for a little break or a long one. The owner is a really interesting person and has lots of stories to share. Will definitely visit again anytime when we are back in town. 5 out of 5 stars! Just awesome!!

This place is amazing. The veggie power wrap is the best thing my family and I ate for breakfast throughout our 2+ week stay. The staff is super kind and passionate about making your time in their restaurant a positive experience. Can’t wait to come back.

The coffee is a bit overpriced for the quality I received. I have to agree with the burnt taste, but the vegan options and food looked really good. No qualms for the local spot near Chinatown, tough location. A bit bummed since I work so close. Oh well 🤷🏻

Maybe the best waffles in town. Coffee taste pretty smooth and rich. I think they do the sweet drinks extremely well and the prices are comparable to the Starbucks down the street. Do yourself a favor and walk here instead!

The best coffee on the island. We drive from Mililani every chance we get. I love the deep rich flavor. The atmosphere and the staff make it fun. If you are just stopping for coffee you can park on the sidewalk and run in. There are 3 metered spots down the block if you want to hang out or the the big lot in front. The Food is also really good.

100% must come here, this place is pure gold. Homemade bagels are outrageous. Beautiful art. Customer service was for sure a 10/10. Talk about a gem! Oh yeah, and they welcome dogs

Local Joe is my favorite coffee shop in Honolulu. The coffee and food is delicious and prepared with such care and the staff is always delightful. Charles, the owner, is always so friendly and if you are lucky enough to become a regular he somehow manages to remember your order even though he has so many regulars!!! Please try this place out!! You won't regret it.
