Be aware if you go to their site and read reviews--they DO NOT post the negative ones therefore all have 5 stars misleading consumers that the coffee is great. Ordered toasted coconut coffee and it was extremely average and not very tasty. Left a review from the link they sent and it was never posted.

Absolutely Fantastic!! I love the tea flavors. Worth every penny. You won't regret buying and odds are, you'll fall in love with their tea and coffee. October, 2021: still excellent! May, 2022: still excellent!

The only fulfilment team working for this company do not ensure freshness quality. They cut open the valve even bigger to release more of the nitrogen that apparently ensures freshness. If you do not want stale coffee, do not order off their website and from local store.

Your Kona lineage is 1,000 removed from the Original Full-Breed Kona Bean? HAWAIIAN LION 24K GOLD ROAST 100% KONA COFFEE beans in Med-Light Roast with a used by 2022.09.23 taste like any other coffee. The Roast seems to be right. Bean quality is questionable. "100% PURE KONA COFFEE" is the legit label, NOT "100% KONA COFFEE". Tricky. Tricky. Tricky. Also, legit Kona Beans need to be CERTIFIED. 😮 KONA COFFEE needs to come from Kona Region. 🤯

I have been buying her for over 10 years and I am done now. Constant issues filling orders. 0 communication about back orders, auto ship is a joke, customer service could care less. Here is an idea: stop having promotions every 10 days if you can’t fill orders. It’s not all about taking the money—you have to ship the product

Successful little roaster gone big. The coffee is okay- sold in less than 1 pound bags with no roast dates, so that’s a quality compromise. But fun place to visit-free tours!

An average experience. Slow delivery, coffee not very fresh tasting. When I spent a lot of time in the Islands (30 years ago) I used to buy Lion all the time at the ABC stores and it was really fresh and good. It seems now that Lion is just one of the labels they put on a variety of brands, and the taste is just not that great.

I started out purchasing Kona coffee from Mark Ferrari in Nebraska. Then I got it directly from Hawaiian coffee Co. I love the espresso and the lion. I order from their online store. I receive coupons in my email regularly. So excited to check out the retail store in Honolulu!

Placed an order on 02/19. 7 full days go by and I see the order has not shipped. I call on Friday 02/26 and am told because of COVID-19 everyone is working from home. I told customer service working from home does not explain why the warehouse has not shipped my order. She promised me a tracking # by end of day. Monday 03/01 comes around - still no update on the website on the status of my order. I call, leave a message, send an email and by mid day call again to only get a voicemail. I called my bank, disputed the charge. Called customer service and I’m told “ oh your order has already shipped”. Is that so? If that is the case I’ll just reject the package ands send it back. An hour later - I have a refund. These people are on island time. They do not care. No explanation or apology on why an order took 12 days to ship. Buyer beware - it’s just as easy to purchase their coffee on Amazon.

Hawaii Coffee Company's coffee is of the highest quality not only in the quality and taste of their products, but also customer service. Their delivery/shipping arrives on time and all items are packaged and sent w/ the utmost care. Mahalo nui to H.C.C and the entire Ohana there. Mālama pono!

Ordered three sets of coffee for Christmas gifts and the order stated they would be delivered in a gift box with a message. No gift box and were just thrown in a shipping box with a receipt. Very disappointed that my gift looked like it just came from the warehouse.

I just did the tour with some friends and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The assistant director of sales led us around and it was great to be engaged one-on-one with such Aloha, Kim was awesome. Every part of the production process was seen in detail. Their equipment is state-of-the-art and the factory workers are pro's; most have been there over a decade. We were fortunate to sample freshly roasted beans and got to observe the beans being roasted all the way to final packaging. There is no comparison with the scent and aroma and taste of coffee beans freshly roasted. At the end of the tour we got to see classic Lion Coffee machines and products in their museum, and stayed and chatted with the employees about coffee. There were many different kinds of brewed flavors that are only sold in the cafe which and we got to sample as much as we wanted! Best tour ever! The smell of coffee in the factory is overpowering and so incredibly fresh- guaranteed to make you smile! They have tours in the English language and also tours in Japanese.

I’ve no ideas why I, living in Malta in Europe ended up in their mailing list. Clearly they are just buying up lists to spam with no respect for who their spam goes to. Makes you wonder, with this company’s unethical approach to marketing by shaming people, how ethical is their approach to sourcing and selling coffee 🤔
