I am not sure if my experience could have been better. They are out here, hitting home runs. Seriously. Excellent customer service, everyone was prompt, friendly, informative, and the place was clean. The food was superb. Tasty, attractive, and from what I could tell, top shelf ingredients. I give a full on RECOMMEND! My wife, my daughter and her bf all had a great experience. Food this good isn't meant to be cheap. With that said, I don't remember it breaking the bank either. Check out the pictures, appetizers included spicy pickles with hawaiian chili peppers, and some smoked marlin spread, on a toasted crostini, topped with lemon zest and paprika. For my entree, I had a spicy jerk chicken sandwich, which had a buttermilk fried chicken breast tossed in our spicy jerk sauce on a brioche bun, topped with fresh pineapple salsa slaw served with onion rings. My wife and I enjoyed cocktails together, and split a dessert. One of the memorable dinners for our trip to Oahu, February '22.

Came here with a group of 6 including a toddler and were seated promptly ahead of our reservation on Open Table. The service was great and the food was excellent! Loved the different beers and definitely enjoyed the sampler. Favorite was the English Pub Ale. Would definitely come back when in Oahu again!

Best brewery I have been to on the island. Awesome selection of beers, and they were all great, even the guest taps! The food is even better. Huge portions for the price with a wide range of options. We came Friday night, and the music, atmopshere, and atmosphere were outstanding, especially how crowded it was.

We decided to hop over to Hana Koa Brewery. The service was excellent. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the hostess even charged my phone. The server was friendly and attentive and let my wife taste the Pineapple Cruzer before she committed to a full pour of it. Lisa Drank was a yummy sour. We were actually full from a late lunch but decided to try a few menu items. The shrimp salad wraps with napa, garlic shrimp , and pickled onion rings were so elevated we did not think we were at a brewery! We asked to hold the rice on the garlic shrimp order and they accommodated us. We look forward to trying the rest of the menu during our stay.

Great food and service. Great selection of beer even though I am not a beer drinker and a nice selection of mixed drinks. This place was hidden away in an alley but totally worth visiting.

I really like this place as a whole. The aesthetic, the service, the beer, and the food. It all comes together very fitting. There is a wide variety of beer, and if you’re an IPA fan, there is a wide selection. My only wish is that they offered a porter. Food was so good I forgot to take photos as we all chowed down as soon as it arrived. There were zero complaints. I can personally attest to the excellence of the cubano. All in all, this is a great spot to attend!

Really cool brewpub that is tucked away in an unassuming building. The beer, the atmosphere, and the food make it worth a visit. If you're in the area doing a brewpub tour, this one needs to be added to your list.

Really great food and venue. The aesthetic of the brewery is really classy. Very friendly staff and good seltzer / sour. (Didn’t try the other options). Was really blown away by how good the food was.

This place ruined garlic shrimp for me! We came here first for a quick lunch and beer and holy hell was the food amazing! It was my first garlic shrimp on the island in almost 7 years and I thought, "I don't remember it being this good but damn!" I had planned for us to go to the north shore and some local spots to try all the top shrimp trucks and restaurants. I tried about 5 other places in a week and I was underwhelmed. I couldn't figure out what was missing but all other places are amateurs compared to Hana Koa's shrimp. We ended up coming back to the brewery 3 more times to try their different foods. Everything we tried was phenomenal! Ramen 5/5 Marlin toast 5/5 (even my partner who hates anything tuna consistency/taste loved it) shrimp 100/5 spicy shrimp 5/5 pickles 5/5 Beer is good, too but the highlight for me was definitely the food! I mentioned this place to a few waiters and stylists I interacted with and was surprised that it's not more widely known. This is a hidden gem that deserves it's spotlight.

Have been wanting try try this Brewery out for a while after discovering one of their beers elsewhere, Follow The White Rabbit, and our entrees as well as drinks were amazing. Service was spot on with very nice employees. They had two guest taps that were delicious like everything else. Definitely will return and recommend to others to try out.

Highly recommended.! We didn’t even know this place existed, but will definitely return. The space is nicely decorated, including a loft to enjoy specialty drinks, etc. Lots of beer choices and the food was pretty good as well. Parking is TBD, we found street parking right outside.

Fantastic bright, clean and fashionable space. Beer was very very good!! Great representations of classic styles, an amazing award winning porter that pairs perfectly with their seasonal pumpkin to create the best seasonal pumpkin beer I think I have ever had. Food offerings are well done as well. Appetizers, mains and dessert are all winners. A must stop for micro-brew fans. Our server Christopher was fantastic and had great recommendations.

Great brewery to check out. They do have parking for the brewery. Didn't know this, so we parked at the nearby mall and walked. But the parking is to the right of the building as you face the front of the brewery. Overall, the beers were good. The food was amazing for brewery food. Will definitely be coming back for the food and the beers.

We tried 7 breweries around Oahu and this was in our top 3. (Hard to choose.) Enjoyable, bright atmosphere, good service, solid beers, and even better food. We went back because we enjoyed it, and it was one of the breweries that had a full menu.

4.5 stars! The sours here were all great, will come back to try other beers for sure. As some other people have noted, service can be slow (I wasn’t in a hurry), and the food can be expensive for the portions (I got a sandwich and added their [tasty] onion rings for 5$ and I got 5 rings, so a dollar per ring). But the food was good so only half star off for the experience. Chris was a super helpful, will go again!

Officially my favorite brewery in Honolulu! The place is clean and spacious, wide selection of beers that are perfect balance of creativity and true-to-style. Food is delicious too, love the pickled onion rings. Oh and don’t forget to check out their merch store for some of the best designed brewery shirts.

A must visit if you are in Honolulu. We got there just as it opened so service was very fast. We had a teri burger and fish sandwich and they were both amazing. Every beer we tasted was good if not great. We've been to most breweries in San Diego and Hana Koa exceeded our expectations.

This brewery has great beers and delicious food. I'm a little sad they no longer serve their dole whip mimosa but they still have amazing craft beers and I love getting flights. The food never disappoints and having daily/ monthly specials lets me continuously try new things.

We really enjoyed lunch and a beverage here. The vibe is cool and modern. The service is amazing. The food and beverages were good too. The onion rings and pork sliders were really really good ! The blurry picture is the jerk chicken sandwich. My husband said that it was really nice.

Our first time here while visiting Hawaii. Our bartender was awesome and the drinks were good. We also bought a T-shirt and a hat for a relative back home in Connecticut. All in all, this was a great Brewery is highly recommended, and we have been to many, many breweries, 150+.

Located off the beaten track in a repurposed warehouse Hana Koa Brewing offers a delicious assortment of craft brews accompanied by terrific food. We started with a couple of flights and the bruschetta and then moved on to pints and pork sliders. Great staff and kitchen. As one of our party remarked “they are better than they have to be” which is always appreciated in Hawaii where the bar can be set pretty low. Enjoy.

Great beers. Great food. Happy and friendly service. All in a pretty modern setting. We had arrived in Honolulu late on a Sunday and were hungry. Hit up Hana Koa and we were not disappointed! I had a flight of IPAs and got a reco from our server to try the Pina Hoplada. I'm not normally a flavored beer guy, but that turned out to be my favorite. (Note to self, when someone recos something, go for it!). Then came the food. I got the Brisket Cuban with pickled onion rings. Incredible! Beef over pork on my Cubans from now on! My son got the monster Smokehouse burger & fries and loved it. Big burger, perfect brioche bun. My wife got the panko tofu and it was crispy and delicious. Definitely worth the visit!

Good brewery with a nice selection of beers in a variety of styles. You can get flights of four beers at a time, which is a nice way to sample a bunch of them. Food is pretty good and is at standard pub prices. My one gripe is that their entire beer menu rotates out with no permanent offerings. I figured out which of their beers I liked on my first visit, only for those beers to be no longer offered in a matter of weeks.

Very cool space. Queer-friendly! Awesome staff who seem to be having a great time. Cool clientèle that made me feel comfortable. Menu seemed right up my alley, but the beers were a bit hit or miss to me personally. The most unique one, with chai, was by far my favorite. Love the drink descriptions and that several have a charitable purpose. Food was minimal but satisfactory. A cool place I'd like to take others to see!

Our favorite brewery on the island out of the ~5 we went to. Excellent brews. Excellent vibe. Close to all the street art. Definitely recommend if you're looking for good beer.

I don’t mind how my first day at new place goes but the last day has to be so good. And this is it !!! Look no further! This place is a beer heaven and there food is to die for. I hope they stay the same and we will come back to Hawaii for them. I tried the Tokyo Rice lager and Mexican lager . My husband is a brewer and he was blown away by their beers!! I read about them using top notch ingredients but as a proof I saw the fresh Hawaiian produce truck standing outside. Wow wow wow!!!! Good beer , best food in town, large variety of merchandise and a super cool staff. The ambiance and the lighting is spectacular !

If you are in town and want a relaxing and laid back atmosphere with insanely good food, Hana Koa is a must! Try the Ramen! Kids loved their grilled cheese, Mac and cheese and the fries. Thanks for the great food and service!

Been a few times, some great food and drinks. Importantly there's a variety, and with a lot of local ingredients, too. You will for sure find some unique dishes and beers at Hana Koa, though parking can be a bit limited on its street. Service was nice, everyone was cool, and in a roomy, well designed space.

Dropped in on a whim and happy I did! Extensive beer menu with local brews; most available in 3, 5, or 10 oz. Didn’t stay for a meal, but they have specials for Mon-Fri. Pleasantly surprised to find a salsa with actual taste and some heat.

February 2022: Came here to try a sample of beer 🍻. The space is a nice spot to hangout. They checked my vaccination card before entering! 👍 Overall, I liked the roof top pale ale the best. Was nice and on the light side! I normally like the hazy IPA. They only had one available for tasting and it was just okay. There were some stronger 🍺 that I wasn't in the mood for. But would definitely come back again to try some more of their 🍻.

Been meaning to try this place for a while as I am a huge fan of their brews and had an AMAZING experience. I have not been eating out much since COVID but I felt very safe and well distanced here. Had two awesome servers, Devin and Cody that provided excellent service. Their locally made brews are THE BEST on the island...and I've tried a lot!! The food is better than it looks and highly recommend giving this place a visit! (I am a huge fan of their sours and seltzers for my friends looking for a sweeter, fruitier drink).

We just left. The place is amazing! The food, drinks, and prices are out of this world!! The best food we've had the entire trip. Staff were amazing as well. The host, waiter, and bus boy are welcoming and pleasant. Jeff has a great crew. My husband says that the Mac and cheese is the best he's ever had. He's from the land of cheese so he knows what he's talking about. We finally got to taste a Cubano cooked and prepared right. Overall great clean dining experience. I personally like the proper hand washing method posted in the bathrooms. Best of luck to all!

Great beers, rotating selection and they brew on site. Awesome spot for the discerning beer drinker or brewer to check out. Update: I came back again and the beer selection has completely changed. I think it is awesome when a place rotates their beers frequently and especially when they are all high quality, there was a Baltic Porter and a West Coast IPA I found particularly pleasant this time. I didn't know prior but they have some fantastic food here as well. I tried the Mac n cheese and the onion rings which were both delicious.

Finally made our way to the restaurant and brewery for lunch and what a great space. Tasty beers on tap and ono food to boot. Highly recommend the Reuben sandwich and crispy fries. Oh those fries!! 🙌🏼 Can’t go wrong on the beers too. But if you don’t drink beer, no worries they have cocktails and wine. Don’t forget to grab a couple packs of beer or seltzer before you leave.
