Stumbled upon EbiNomi when we were looking for something to eat after just arriving in Honolulu. The resto is nestled away in a well lit pedestrian alley area with other eats off Kuhio. The menu is extensive with flavours from countries all over the world! The portion sizes are very generous and filling. We ordered the jumbo garlic shrimp and Hungarian beef which was served piping hot on top a bed of rice. I really enjoyed the garlic shrimp, whereas the beef was a bit too salty for my liking. The best part about dining right outside the resto is you’ll sometimes get to enjoy live music from the visitors that pass by who play on their piano! We saw many people from different cultures and ages play beautifully sounding songs. What a great way to bring people together!

My boyfriend and I were excited to try the prime rib loco moco and garlic shrimp since the place had such high reviews. However, we were disappointed. Both dishes were super salty (and I have a high tolerance for salt). If the salt was cut down by 25% in the loco moco and 50% in the garlic shrimp then we would have enjoyed both dishes a lot more. I'm wondering if we came on an off day? 🤔

While on vacation I wondered upon this small local restaurant near the international market place. Saw their post on the door as the #2 in Hawaii for Sunday brunch and seafood. I tried the spam with eggs for breakfast and the eggs were perfect sunny side up and the spam tasted just like how I remembered it when I used to eat it as a teenager. Only downside is that it made me so sleepy but worth it Fast service, value price, tasty and filing food. Definitely will return for their brunch or seafood later. They have a piano too if you’re in the mood to play. Outdoor seatings only.

This hidden gem right in the heart of Waikiki was awesome. Garlic shrimp and curry chicken were fantastic. We stopped here because it was the only place without a line up and it was delicious. Worth finding.

Unexpectedly fantastic! Went here with my family for a final dinner before heading back to Canada and was thoroughly impressed by the friendly service, delicious (and wide cultural selection) food, and accommodations that the restaurant provides to make the dining experience for the customer comfortable. To begin, our family ordered the Ohana size Hungarian Beef Stew, EbiKahuku, and single Yellow Curry and each one had a unique flavour profile that exceeded all expectations. The Hungarian beef dish had a deep flavour profile and is something you definitely don't want to miss. The food comes out quickly and piping hot so get ready to dig in and enjoy the food! With regards to dining, you can either do take-out, or enjoy the meal through limited outdoor seating. I'd recommend coming early (if eating during peak hours) if you want outdoor seating or eating during off-hours to fully enjoy the food fresh from the kitchen. Overall, I wasn't expecting much, but EbiNomi exceeds all expectations and deserves high praise for their food, friendly staff, and beyond. PS: There's an outdoor piano you can play on if that's your thing.

We are on vacation and saw this place when we were having dinner next door. Decided to check it out today. The curry was great flavor, and they actually made it spicy when we asked for spicy. A lot of places I order from don't actually make it spicy when we order spicy. The woman taking our order was so welcoming, polite, and really made sure we were taken care of. We did have a small situation which we were able to speak to the owner personally about, he resolved it quickly, and he was so kind through it all. I highly recommend for food quality and service!!!!

Absolutely delicious food. My breath after the delicious garlic shrimp would kill a vampire. The shrimp spring rolls were crunchy, full of shrimp, and super tasty. The potato shrimp were amazing, and had a great garlic flavor to them. Finally, the fish and chips were fantastic, the fish was fresh and crispy, and the fries were skinny like my thoughts and crunchy like my jokes.

Very high quality shrimp, fresh, properly cooked (quite tender), and delicious! Ordered the classic garlic and the Thai curry; very succulent, lots of garlic, and large portions. Price is appropriate for the amount and quality of food. Great place to enjoy some shrimp, followed by a nice matcha ice cream dessert from next door!

It was getting past our usual dinner time; We walked down Kuhio Street looking for a place to dine outside. What a Beautifully, Well Lighten Outdoor area this place had to offer. The meals were DELICIOUS and worth every penny! What kind Service they gave to us. We all ordered something different...so, we could share. Worth going to again, when we go back!

Garlic shrimps were the best!!!! It was totally worth it, fresh and yummy. Even my picky kids would eat them. They also have a piano outside where some amazingly skilled tourists started to play and attracted a happy crowd

Excellent Treat. Why would anyone going all the way to North Shore for Giovanni’s shrimp when you have the better tasted Garlic Shrimp readily available in Waikiki. Seriously, Ebinomi curry shrimp is so yummy. I had an extra order to go for later. The location is awesome. Their little courtyard is cute. There were 6 of us and we all agreed that ebinomi garlic shrimp hand down is better than Giovanni. Their shrimp filled with garlic while Giovanni is too darn salty. Try their curry shrimp and you won’t regret. Darn I’m craving for some now.

Out of this world. I got the veggie curry. Generous portion size for the single serving itself. Wife and I were full after eating it. They give you a choice of spiciness levels and we picked the highest level and it was just the right balance of everything. I would come back here repeatedly if I lived in Honolulu full time.

AMAZING GARLIC SHRIMP. Best in Waikiki for sure. Great flavor and generous portions. The shells are taken off of the shrimps so its easy to eat which is a big plus. Will be returning for sure!

Really loved the garlic shrimp dish and the potato shrimp appetizer. It’s a lot of food - my husband and I shared and it was plenty. There’s a lot of garlic on the garlic shrimp, which wasn’t my husband’s favorite but I loved it. We both loved the potato shrimp.

The Nomi Nomi French toast is incredible! The CDF was also amazing! Highly recommend this place, little to no wait and the owner is awesome. Will definitely keep coming back!

Fries were crispy 👍. Garlic shrimps were fresh but the shrimps themselves don't have a lot of flavor and the taste of the garlic felt kind of separate from the rice and the shrimp. One of the fried shrimps was a bit raw on the inside.

Delicious and simple as usual. Full of tasty garlic!!! Love it! We always come back here everytime were in town. No other place beats it.

It's the curry that made it to 5 🌟 Service was very quick. I was the last one before they closed, so that helped. Very polite and friendly. A nice portion for your 💰. This curry is spicy and tasty-yum.

Chicken curry and garlic shrimp tasted great! Good quantity! 10 minutes wait time if not crowded. Restaurant didn't seem to have a dine in option, but there are plenty of tables outside!

Wow happen to find this spot and very impressed. We were feeling hungry and tired and didn’t want to be in any long lines either. The garlic shrimp is so good and Hungarian beef. It was hearty and also felt like a home cooked meal.

We were craving some fusion food and got a hold of EbiNomi. We walked about 7 minutes from the Sheraton Waikiki and passed thru Dukes Lane to get to the store. We had a bit of trouble finding it, but someone was playing the piano so we followed the music and got to the restaurant. It is quite colourful, and the menu was laid out well. This is a take out restaurant, with some tables outside for you to use. But most people buy to go. Hawaii now charges $0.45 for each takeout bag so you may want to bring your own paper bags and reuse them. I think it is a great idea. Reducing trash is always a good thing. We walked back to the hotel after waiting about 6 minutes and honesty, the food was still hot and the karage was still crunchy. The oysters were to die for. The fries were still crunchy. I think they overfry their starches, but their meat is perfect inside. Don’t know how they do it. The chicken curry was tasty, very mild and tasty with a good portion of chicken breast. The ebicocktail is on the small portion side. They have about 3 shrimps in there… so there was not enough for my family of 4 to share. It is still good, just the portion is small. Overall the service was fast, accurate and very delicious. I would highly recommend this place. I took the pictures of the menus. Good luck :)

We ordered the coconut shrimp and chicken curry. Both were amazing!! Coconut shrimp was tender, nutty in flavor, and crispy. The fries were crispy on the outside and just perfect. The only thing I did not love was the tartar sauce as it is in a packet and is overly tart. Do yourself a favor and eat here

Quality of the shrimp here is top notch so worth visiting if you enjoy shrimp. The coconut shrimp is very tasty and I would recommend that as well. It’s nice, crunchy and sweet too. The garlic shrimp is extremely garlicky. I bit too much for me but decent in taste. I would rather recommend another dish since the garlic pieces were very thick. The rice is simple here. I would encourage them to consider offering coconut rice into their menu.

Recommend the curry chicken rice. Super delicious and the mild was not even spicy but the spicy was super good! First time having curry and it was delicious. great service!!!

Delicious! We were originally planning on going to the udon place around the corner but the line was too long. My husband liked the look of this place so we tried it out. I am allergic to shellfish and without me even asking, the man who took our orders went above and beyond to look up the ingredients to make sure I ordered something safe. The customer service was excellent, they were so friendly and helpful and the food was wonderful. I definitely recommend this place!

My husband and I ate at this place a few weeks ago and, the food was amazing! I originally went for the garlic shrimp but wanted to try the curry chicken, and, the staff allowed me to taste the curry. Well I ended up getting the shrimp, but, went back for the curry a couple of days later because I couldn’t stop thinking about it! The shrimp was way better than the North shore’s. The curry was the best I’ve ever had! Amazing food and wonderful staff!

Absolutely love this place!! My husband and I stayed in Waikiki for a week and tried more than half of the menu. We love the concept of simple food with quality ingredients at a decent price. Favorites for us were the curry shrimp (#1), prime rib, a la king, garlic shrimp, and coconut shrimp. They don’t overcook their shrimp which is amazing. We wanted to try garlic shrimp while in hawaii and we’re so glad we came to this place before driving all the way to the north shore. I just know I won’t get a better version on the north shore, especially because I don’t want shells with my shrimp. The dish we liked the least was the hungarian beef. We thought it was a bit too sweet and it could have used more hungarian paprika. Overall I would highly highly recommend this place. If I lived closer I would probably eat here pretty often.
