If you're from the south, you're gonna die and go to heaven! The owner, Beverly loves feedback and super open to any suggestions. The food is to die for! The flavors are beautiful marinade of cajun and creole. Mahalos chef for putting these fabulous dishes together. It made me feel like I was in the south! I had the shrimp and grits with kale and it was perfect! The shrimp is from kauai. The flavoring was right on target but to have it from a kauai vendor is local and that's a bonus to support local economy! I also had sweet tea and jambalaya that packed so much flavor and you can let your server know to adjust the heat according to your taste buds. Parking, if minimal during the day at Alii place. But on weekends and on weekdays after 5pm and there is free validated parking at Bishop Square! Highly recommend for live dancing coming up on Friday and 10 dollars at door for fundraising. Bring your Vax cards and or negative covid19 test results so you can dance the night away. Tuesdays they have live music 🎶 Sunday brunch also has live music 🎶 Enjoy and let the good times roll!

I have been craving cajun food from Louisiana and this restaurant did not disappoint. Was a little nervous walking in because there was only one customer. Waiter was very nice and ambiance was welcoming. They had a live musician who was excellent. We ordered shrimp and grits and seafood gumbo and it was delicious. My daughter who can be a picky eater finished all her shrimp and wanted more! We save room for Bread pudding and it was amazing. Will definitely be back.

My wife is from east Texas and loves Cajun food, so this was a must try for us. Let me start by saying they’re clearing trying their hardest. I watched an rude couple expertly handled by staff with happy faces. And then there’s the food. My plate was incredible, and my wife loved her shrimp. Only thing we’d recommend is maybe some coleslaw on the shrimp to give a break up of textures on the plate. Will definitely be coming back!

This food was impeccably delicious and a great size portion (for people that love to EAT). It really brought Cajun cuisine to the island. The owner greeted us at the door and was super inviting. The larger, Caucasian waiter we had that evening was impartial and nonchalant about my pretty serious food allergy, but I just had to be aggressive in my approach so he wouldn’t serve me anything harmful. Otherwise, the vibes were incredible (music, entertainment, ambiance, etc.) and my spouse and I had a lovely evening here!

The gator tail was very delicious. The restaurant had a perfect feeling of New Orleans. I recommend the gator tail and the shrimp plate😋👌🏾. There was a live band playing while we waited and ate our food.

This place is simply amazing! Ambience, Food, Service, Live Music all are a 10!!! They even have a raw bar! The oysters are superb!! I took my 12 year old daughter with me and even she enjoyed it and that tasty steak!!! 😆. The parking is plentiful in the garages surrounding the restaurant. Great place to go to get away from the lines and the madness of Waikiki! I definitely will be back!!!

I ordered the watermelon salad and it was delightful! Such a unique dish so I had to try it. No regrets, the flavors blended well with each other. I also ordered the chicken and waffles appetizer. The dish was very tasty. The atmosphere is nice and clean. There was also live music and the gentleman was very talented.

Excited to see this restaurant open in downtown Honolulu. Having been to New Orleans several times, I’ve hoped one day that we could enjoy the delicious flavors of that great city here at home. And that day has come. Jumbalaya, fried catfish, chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes, po boys…I’ve tried most of the items on the menu and they do a wonderful job here. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return as the continue to expand their menu offerings.

Went for Sunday Brunch with one of my Social Clubs and had a wonderful time, as always. Our meal plan...Shrimp/Grits and Chicken/Waffles was awesome! The music (LIVE JAZZ) was definitely on point. The staff made sure we were well taken care of! Everything was just beautiful!! I love this place!

Empty plates will be on the table after taking a bite of any of the dishes at this beautiful establishment. I had the watermelon and tomato salad, crab cakes, and brussel sprouts. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The owner is so hospitable. She understands how to meet the needs and tastebuds of her customers. The staff is pleasant and attentive. I am excited to return for the blues night and Sunday jazz brunch. Yes, they have live music too!!!!

Loved the restaurant because the place was nice and clean. The restaurant gave me the feeling of an old-school seafood restaurant on Bourbon street in New Orleans. It is well maintained and the atmosphere was relaxing and energizing. The service is awesome and best of all the food is delicious! Bourbon Street also lives up to its name with a selection of Southern dishes. Besides oysters, the menu emphasizes the Gulf seafood, and features New Orleans favorites like shrimp and grits. Try the seafood platter or the other signature dishes including BBQ ribs, oysters and double chocolate bread pudding. The prices are reasonable and affordable! Also the live music makes it a perfect place to spend an evening. Try the specialty frozen bourbon milk punch, or get one of the other drink specials. Overall Bourbon Street is A laid back restaurant Hawaii style with the potential to become a fine-dining institution that will be loved by the generations of Southerners In Hawaii. Dr. D

Decided to try this place out as it was a recommendation from a friend. Dined on a Friday night while there was a performance. Noticed it look quite a few minutes before our waiter came to our table for drinks and appetizers. We enjoyed the gator as the appetizers. Ordered pasta and the catfish dinner. I loved the different choice of sauces that were provided as well as the amount of fish and fries. Food was fresh and delicious. I ended up taking a couple pieces of fish and fries home with me. Put them in the air fryer and they still tasted good.
