I must've eaten here at least a dozen times because they had the bomb poke and it was walking distance from my hotel! First of all- try the blue marlin! It's insanely delicious and fresh. I had every poke combination possible. I didn't love my poke salad because the leafy part of the salad was too little and it was sad. So I went back to the poke bowls. It's a tiny place with seating outside- be prepared to not sit down inside. The restaurant staff are super nice and the vibe the just right. It was always such a yummy meal.

So...when we first arrived in Waikiki my sister and locals constantly recommended this place and as someone who has had poke on other islands, NY, Ca, and in Vegas. I felt like I had to visit due to the high recommendation and my love for poke, but we were honestly a bit disappointed. The fish was fresh which is great, tako was minimal and a side option at extra cost, the sauce my wife and I received for our separate orders was literally non existent and felt like we were just eating our fish with white rice, I ordered the extra large for $18 and she got the large for $14... proportionally speaking the only difference between our servings was the amount of rice and each felt minimal and the order felt rushed. The amount of fish received compared to the price with our dishes just really felt wrong, our bowls were majorly rice with a few servings of fish on the top and at that price felt unreasonable. This is compared to spending $7-14 elsewhere. We had poke at several other places and even foodland had tastier and better rice/fish portions, sauce ratios. We basically got served a lot of rice with below average fresh fish, a spoon of sauce and over priced sides. Literally poured soy sauce over my order after a while due to lack of sauce and large amount of rice. Would not recommend this place, there are much better and cheaper options in the area.

Airline pilot, on island every 10 days. I go to Maguro every time. By far the best deal in the area, and absolutely delicious. Just pick which seafood (or combo or all), then what size bowl, then type of rice, then sauce (rainbow for me). You can't go wrong. I attached some pics of their menu and corner location. It is small, and efficient. Don't let the line discourage you, it moves fast. There is a line for a reason :)

incredibly impressed with the quality of the fish and the delicious spicy mango sauce. The "make your own bowl" option was especially great; I got a combination of tuna, salmon, shrimp, and marlin, and the flavors all went perfectly together. The toppings cost only 50 cents extra, so it was easy to customize my bowl to get the perfect mix. There's nothing quite like the quality of fresh fish, and that's exactly what Maguro Spot Poke provides - and at an excellent value too! The restaurant itself is a bit of a hole-in-the-wall, but don't let that put you off - the food more than makes up for the lack of atmosphere. All in all, I absolutely recommend Maguro Spot Poke for anyone looking for a truly unique and flavorful poke experience!

Good prices for fresh poke! Some of the best poke we have had since being in Hawaii and we have only have poke for every meal since being here... Go check it out, it does get pretty busy but you won't find a better place to grab poke! Their XLarge is huge, two people ate it and were full for just $18 right off the main street in Waikiki beach.

On our last day here I finally had a chance to try Maguro Spot. We ordered a couple of medium All Hawaiian Bowls and a custom bowl my daughter made. The fish was fresh. The All Hawaiian option compared to shoyu or spicy mayo sauces showcases the fish more and you can taste the freshness. Definitely worth going here for Poke!

Couple blocks from the beach. I tried the rainbow bowl and added octopus. πŸ™ 🌈πŸ₯£ So good! Too much rice for me even after I asked for very little rice, but still good. Cute spot to try fresh food. There are small tables outside if you choose to eat there, or walk a few blocks and enjoy it near the water.Would visit again. Enjoy. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ˜Š

Amazing. Fresh. Line goes pretty quickly. Located few steps away from the beach and makes a nice healthy meal too! Friendly service I love it. I recommend you to try any of their daily specials. This picture is a Large bowl and a Medium.

So delicious! I took for me a bowl with vinegar rice, all the available fish (shrimps, tuna and salmon, without any additional fees), avocado, macadamia, cucumber, spicy mayo and creamy sesame. I paid 16$. For my boyfriend that was scary to it raw fish I took teriyaki cooked salmon bowl with rice for 5$ (it is a small portion). It was for both of us our first bowl and waouuuuuh so good. I highly recommended. Thanks from France and Turkey.

The line at this place was long when we last passed by. The poke is nice flavored and I had the No 3 with ahi and salmon combo on a bed of sushi rice. Also ordered spicy garlic shrimp dipped in volcano sauce and oh my Lord, It hit the spot. Do order it with a side of white or sushi rice to balance the heat. Would recommend this place. They have various size bowls available which is super cool. You don't have to feel stuffed to feel full.

Went for a quick lunch. It's a small spot off the main strip. The surroundings are a little grimy but the staff are super nice and the fish is delicious. I let the guy at the counter recommend something. It was a mix of fish over sushi rice with a spicy sauce. Paid a dollar extra for seaweed salad which was a tiny helping. But again, it was so good I really couldn't complain.... Not cheap. But hit the spot.

Food was super delicious! We’ve been eating different poke places all week and this would be one of my top picks. Very tasty, good portions, great location not fair from the beach. Cute little sitting area on the side but it does fill up quick. Line was out the door (for good reason) but it moved quick!

I ate at Maguro Spot multiple times during my trip to Waikiki - it was so good! Short line to order but it moves fast. Waited 5min at 5pm and 15min at 7pm, but the line was growing. I tried #1 (Spicy Mayo) and #3 (Hawaiian) with Ahi Tuna. The fish was super fresh and the sauces were so flavourful. I like that there are several sizes to choose from, rice options (white, brown, sushi) and that you can add toppings, rather it being just fish on rice like many other places. Toppings range from $0.50 to $2+ each depending on what you choose. Small size is a good snack size, but I'd say get at least a medium for a main meal. Prices are affordable and staff are friendly. Each order is made fresh and takes a couple minutes to prepare. I am surprised this place isn't on more people's radar as a must try. I can't wait to go back!

Don't let the outside fool you, this place is the best bang for your buck poke in Waikiki. Everything is top notch and going to make you want to go back for another hit of poke decadence. It's made to order and you can personalize it to get the exact taste you want. Tons of options for your entire time in Waikiki. Don't skip this place, even if there is a line. It goes fast.

Delicious poke bowls a block off the beach. Is it worth the walk? Yeah I think so πŸ˜ƒ! We got the Tofu with sushi rice and a combination spicy bowls. Delicious. And they have a nice quiet seating area outside just behind the shop.

Another spot we checked out on our anniversary vacation because we just had to have a pokey bowl! They have a lot of varieties, but we chose the creamy sesame seed. That was an awesome decision. As with most places in Waikiki, the freshness of the fish was amazing, and the flavors were second to none. I highly recommend giving this place at least one visit while you're in town and meet the guys working in the kitchen, and then an excellent job and preparing some excellent food. We had lunch at this popular place today. The Shoyu bowl I ordered was very delicious. The salmon and rice tasted very good. I hope I will try some other bowls later. Strongly recommend it.

Highly recommend, the food here has been amazing so far. I've tried a couple poke back in Vancouver, but it just doesn't compare. What makes it is the freshest salmon and tuna as their ingredients. Favorite has been the salmon ikura bowl. Soft salmon with the sushi rice and the salmon eggs that adds a little bit of saltiness. Each bite is so wonderful. I will definitely miss this spot when we head back home. The portions were a good size and is also fairly reasonable pricing.

This lovely take out spot serves up delicious fresh dishes that are simple and healthy and delicious! I had the large House Poke bowl with brown rice. It comes with your choice of protein I got tuna, the house sauce is marinated Japanese salted Kombu and cucumbers in sesame oil 10/10 would recommend. Very fast friendly service.

Delicious Udon noodles, tempura fish and veggies and very reasonable. Great lunch and dinner spot in the heart of Waikiki. The waiting line to enter often is out the door and down the block and very often stretches around the corner. If you ever see less than 20 people from the door...GET IN LINE!!!! LOL highly recommend for visitors. Locals can go to the one in downtown too. Always a good choice.

Nice and easy way to get your Poke craving fixed! Order and pay at the counter then wait to be called. There is an eat-in area right next to the shop. Just order one of their specials if you are too overwhelmed to decide (like me). We ordered the A) Signature bowl and C) Chili Bomb. I preferred the signature more. The chili bomb was really spicy but good though.

Its been a few months since I last had some poke from this place. I think it was better the last few times. There was no line this time. Ordering was easy. The cashier recommended the spicy tuna. So, I had one spicy tuna poke bowl (uncooked) and one teriyaki salmon bowl (cooked) sine the salmon was advertised for $5. The spicy tuna was good. Rice was warm, but the fish to rice ratio could be better. It was a lot of rice but very little fish. For the salmon bowl, it was already cold. I was expecting a warm bowl since the salmon is cooked. But i guess it had cooled down as it sat on the counter due to being β€œpre-made” for $5. There are no sitting areas in the restaurant as it is more of a counter service type of establishment, but there are outdoor tables in the back. Overall, I would still stop by here for the fresh poke if I was passing by.

We came across this shop randomly and were curious of the long line all the time at this tiny poke shop. Turned out this was the BESTTT Poke Bowls we had on the island! The price starts from $7 for Small and the amount of meats was so generous! We got $18.50 Large Signature Bowl & $12 Medium Boiled Shrimp Bowl (+ $0.75 green onions + $1.50 Seaweed Salad). The Rainbow Sauce Mix (Spicy Mayo + Teriyaki) was soooo good. The service was fast and the food was very fresh. It was a very casual shop with some small tables on the side so you get to eat in open air watching traffic coming back and forth β€” definitely an interesting experience! Highly recommended this place!

Usually a wait, and pretty overpriced. There was too much dressing on the poke which overpowered the dish. I was a bit disappointed. The seating area is also under attack from birds pooping around

Good poke place, fresh fish, just the sauce they have on isn’t enough! Fairly priced, nearby Waikiki beach, couple of blocks from my hotel. Lines move quickly so it isn’t bad, friendly staff. Stays open pretty late too which is nice.

A long but worthwhile wait for this walk-in poke spot. Super fresh, delicious, and very reasonably priced. Enjoyed the Volcano special, prefer the mixed fish, and can also make your own. The volcano shrimp on their own were also great. Can order ahead on Instagram, May try that next time!

Incredibly fresh tasting ingredients. The poke at Maguro spot is delectable. I tend to go for the classic spicy mayo poke with tuna, sushi rice, cucumber, garlic and avocado. There are bottles of shoyu sauce and Sriracha sauce if you want to add into your bowl too. I like to take it home and add some crunchy garlic sauce in mine for some added texture. Loved every bite, and the lines move along relatively quickly so don't be intimidated by long lines. 10/10 would eat again

This spot was fast, affordable, and had lots of options. The menu system was a bit daunting with all the options but the workers were great at making suggestions. The poke tasted fresh and they were generous with fish, but the bowl itself felt small and the rice was a bit hard. It was also long grain and I expected short grain. Other than that, this was a decent poke spot! Highly recommend the rainbow poke if you like creamier style pokes!

Rice is cooked correctly and served warm. This makes a difference. I don’t eat raw fish much so cannot tell how fresh it is. It melts without chewing in your mouth. Their sauce is not overwhelmed by strange cream. That is great to an Asian stomach. But they serve garlic shrimps cold, which could bring out more flavor if being warmed. Good location so you can stop by easily.

The fish was fabulous, anoung the freshest I have ever had. the bowls are simple, didn't get much sauce, that was OK given the fish quality. If the line is too long there is a decent Koren BBQ place around the corner. The Boba frozen bar was an unexpected treat.

Solid spot, I got half salmon and half marlin with spicy Mayo and teriyaki. Nice to create your own bowl!

My fourth time eating here and I keep getting the same thing, large rainbow bowl, four fish, white rice. This time I added green onions as a topping which I really liked. I love the rainbow bowl but will likely try something else next time, but then again I thought I was going to try something new this time πŸ˜‰.

The best poke in Waikiki! The fish melts in your mouth, the sushi rice is delicious, and the sauces/toppings work perfectly in each bowl. The location is also great for eating in Waikiki after the beach. 10/10 highly recommend!

Fresh poke, quick to get without lining up too long, fairly priced, near Waikiki Beach too. It's a great value buy overall. The spot itself is easy to miss and grungy looking, with not too many seats available.
