This place literally tried to send me home to die. I showed up with severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and fever. They did a CT and told me it was normal. Administered IV pain meds and tried to send me home. I was in no condition to go home as I was barely oriented enough to even communicate. I had to beg to be admitted. I kept asking them to please please help me, then the physician proceeded to yell at me โ€œ Iโ€™m not giving you any more pain meds. Youโ€™ve had enough. Your CT is normal. Nothing is wrong with you. If youโ€™re in so much pain then we will have to admit you. Is that what you want? You want to be admitted?โ€ I just kept begging for help. Once the admittance team finally arrived, I just remember them waking me up telling me that I am extremely sick. Turns out I had a blockage and was SEPTIC. And the ER tried to send me home. After an emergency procedure, a week in ICU, 3 weeks admitted in total I was finally released to go home. The ER is a joke and literally would have killed me if I didnโ€™t advocate for myself. The best advice I have is GO TO QUEENS.

It's a hit or miss with this place. Either you're in and out in maybe 2 hours, or you're pretty much indirectly told what you can do with yourself, 4 hours later plus another 2 if you ever get to the back. Basically, you better be close to dying if you want to get seen quickly.

I was afraid to get sent here because of all the negative reviews. But since I didnโ€™t have a choiceโ€ฆ I found the emergency room to be on the level with any civilian hospital. Yes, I waited a long time. But everyone I saw treated me with respect and care, and evaluated my injury thoroughly. Waiting for treatment still beat being at work, and the whole adventure was free. What more could I ask for?

If your ready to call it quits with life and are feeling ill, this is the place to go. Went at 5pm, didn't get seen until 12am. Waiting until 3am to be turned around. Go to the nearest urgent care and AVOID if you have a serious medical emergency. Went to the doc the next day and he said we got luck because we could of lost our kid that night.

Prepare to wait several hours for anything from stitches to broken bones. Walked in at 1800, got a bed around 0200 the next day, went home around 0230 stitched up. Granted, I was not bleeding to death, and as the waiting room video told me every 10 minutes or so, I might not be the highest priority. Phone died after being there about 4 hours, was not prepared for the wait time beforehand. Bring food, drinks, a book, maybe even an extra cushion for the chair your butt will be in for a while. Talk story with the other military folks.

Previous comments are accurate. Zero sense of urgency and interest by staff. Triage assessment and prioritization does not occur. Fully 1/3 of people in ER were there waiting for lab results - using the ER in lieu of a regular appointment. All were seen before patients with actual concerns. This includes families with newborns that were prioritized lower.

Babies, toddlers crying in pain. Takes them 6+ hours to take care of them. Worst service ever experienced. Medical care is not a favor. You all should do better. Ridiculous!!!

You are better off going to a priest, pastor, or witch doctor, they will at least see you the same day you checked in. This ER is the worst one I have ever been in, after 7 hours of waiting and then being told I was still 9th on the list to be seen, I left. I'll take my chances with the out of pocket urgent care. 1 out if 10, would not recommend for any type of emergency. P.S. All their ER doctors work during the day.

We showed up at 9, didnโ€™t get a room until 2:30, then didnโ€™t get seen until 3, but the doc left before getting the details because of a phone call. This is absolute garbage.

Friendly folks. But my broken bone healed on its own by the time they got me taken care of. Very very busy hospital. The low marks aren't against professionalism. It's just crazy slow here.

Prepare a blanket just go sleep after you check in. Don't worry about you will miss the call, because when you wake up, still not your turn yet.

I was sure all the comments were overblown by disgruntled patients, but this place really is the worst, most heartless emergency room in the history of medical care. AVOID this place at all costs!!!
