    Everyone in the store is amazingly friendly and helpful and if you are looking for grooming I can’t say enough great things about Mary! She is so detailed and thorough and always takes the time to update me on how the grooming went. Plus she is always so cheerful! I know my dog is in good hands here.

    Andrew was so helpful in helping me pick out my crate for my new puppy. And the staff was great tending to him. I will definitely be back. 🐶🐾🤙

    I always had a great experience here. However tonight at the checkout i mentioned to the cashier i wish the cat treats came in larger bags like they have for dogs. The brand i was purchasing had various sizes for dogs but not for cats. The cashier looked at the large dog treat that was on a shelf by the checkout egnored my coment and "rolled his eyes". He just rang me up and i was on my way not even a thank you. He's work there's a while. It just made my one bad experience rating go from 5 to 2. Sorry having a bad day get off the floor!!!

    I go there for my fish supplies but its the staff for which I keep coming back for their knowledge is what I need. Look for Zanna and Caleb, Isaiah.

    The curbside pickup at this store was a huge help since I hurt my back. I pulled up, called to let them know I arrived, and an associate brought out my order within minutes. I will definitely visit this store both in person and virtually in the future.

    Groomer Kim was awesome! The duration I was told was 2-4 hours and it took the full 4 hours which seems stressful for my pet but yet I wouldn’t want them rushing and not do the job right or hurt my pet so I guess the wait is necessary.

    The store was a mess. No one says hello when you walk into petco anymore. The ambiance is kinda dead in here and the workers all look unhappy. They are not happy like before. I wouldn't want to work here.

    Things moved so finding the dog food was difficult since I could not find anyone to ask, the stock levers were low, I got the last bag. At the cashier- (1) only and 5 people in-line waiting no one came to help, one worker saw the line but punched out and left with calling for help.

    To be honest, I don't really like this particular store location. It's always extremely busy. There's a very long line every time I have to go there. The people are friendly. But I needed chicken feed and didn't find any.

    Not great! All the fish tanks lights were off! I don’t know if fish were all sick or not for sale?! Also, I noticed a shoplifter but when I brought it to workers attention they didn’t do anything. That’s probably why there were times I needed something and none available!

    This location is always staffed with the most helpful, friendly, and joyful employees. From the moment I walk in they greet me and acknowledge my presence. I always find what I am looking for as the store is clean and organized. I never have to look far for help as they are always looking for ways to assist/help. I always get more information than I expect from them. I could not have a pet without this store in my neighborhood providing for our every need within just a few blocks from home. My cats and I appreciate you all.

    I shop at Hawaii Kai Petco and always have the best service. The Beretania store was lacking in customer service. The person that we asked to help us, led us directly to the item we wanted, but barely said a word. Just led us and pointed. She was nice, but it would be good to step it up a notch by even saying “here you go..is this what you needed?” She could have turned this encounter into an over and above encounter by just engaging with the customer. Check out was terrible. I was using a gift card and the clerk at the front (?I believe Eric??) was not helpful at all. I swiped my card and it did not work. He must have said “try again” at least ten times. I asked him if there was another way…and if he could manually enter it. He said, “try again.” Finally, I put the card on the counter in front of him. He picked it up, manually entered it, and all went thru fine. (I was very close to just asking someone else to help me.) Frustrating. Though the store is clean and well stocked, if I don't have to come back to this store, I won’t. I will try to do my business in Hawaii Kai where all the staff have been super personable and helpful.

    I do not appreciate the prices in the store being higher then prices online. It takes forever at checkout to price match all the items, and I feel bad for the cashier. Why are you taxing me to shop in your store. If I order online for pickup an employee has to spend time fulfilling the order. Why should I pay more to pick up my own items off the shelf.

    I adopted my current cat from them. They have an adoption area but nowhere to actually interact with the pet you're considering adopting. The staff is friendly. Prices are a little high but they do match website prices. That can be handy. The staff is friendly and well informed. Cat services would be a nice addition (nail clipping, vets etc.)

    Ruth is the best! She handled my anxiety ridden dog and was very understanding. He even had an accident on the table during grooming and she and the team handled it like a champ... She did a great job grooming him, we will be back!

    You can get all your pet supplies and needs for your fish, dog, cats & birds. Including turtles, bunny and pet grooming too. Conveniently located in town, ample parking.

    Everyone is so kind, patient and helpful at this location ! The sales associates as well as the groomers and trainers. Shout out to Izzy for being super patient when I was having trouble redeeming a reward.

    This Petco at Beretania Street in Honolulu, finally had the items I needed in stock. I was able to order online quickly, with a 10% discount, and curbside pickup was fast and easy!

    Everyone is very friendly. I asked about my coupons if any when I checked out. She was happy to help me and I received the information I needed. Highly recommend Petco.

    Horrible service. My girl ordered kitty litter and listed me as the pick up person. When I arrived was told sorry order under Keri I need her ID. I showed him a copy of receipt with my name on it . He then said well his doesn't have my name but he will do me a FAVOR and let me take it but next time no Id I can't pick up. As I was explaining to him that my copy has my name his is wrong maybe they should tell Corp the app is bad the manager ran up. He stated that I need to call Corp its not his job and I am lucky I got my litter. Will avoid your stores and tell as many people as I can about this... Mike

    As a customer that regularly spends $100’s if I need to use the bathroom I shouldn't be told to walk to Safeway. COVID is here to stay. Figure out how to make your customers comfortable. Walmart is looking more appealing.

    Finally a store that carries the dog food " Honest Kitchen " in Hawai'i. Its the only Dog Food in the United States made in a Human Grade Certified Kitchen AND our pets love it and we are always asked what we feed our dogs because they look so good at 16 and 17 years old ! I love that Petco allows us to use Insta Cart for our pet needs as we have mobility issues and sincerely appreciate the kindness and assistance from all.

    Thank you Sean, for the whole first pet experience. I’m sure all the other employees are just as awesome but we were lucky to have our interaction with Sean last night. It’s a day later and as I’m writing this I asked my youngest if she remembered who helped us. She pronounced his name a little off, but she spelt it. “S.E.A.N.” Thank you for taking your time with us
