Came into sell a gold bracelet. The owner claims that he has the best prices on the island (which every jewelers shop says). But regardless his final offer was 30% of my gold melt value 😐. The owner recommend taking anything above 50% if I was offered that price at another shop. I ended up going to another place down the road just to see their offer and they were able to give me 90% of my gold value. Before selling, I collected estimates from different places on the island and the standard seems to be about 80-90% of your gold value. So watch out before selling to “14k gold club”. Obviously every jeweler would say they have the best prices and will pay the most, but 30% is crazy. I would recommend going to literally any other place on the island. If you think I’m lying or exaggerating then go in for yourself and see. But ultimately make sure you collect estimates from other places. If you end up selling to this place then just contact me instead! I’ll gladly take your jewelry for higher than they offer, guaranteed 😆. Ps. I also never write reviews but this one was justified just because how much money I could have lost if I had half a brain.

A great jeweler in Honolulu! I was referred to them by a friend, I wanted a very particular wide diamond wedding band.
