    Very bad attitude, worst customer service, the employees in the gym tell you that you can cancel anytime, but when the time comes you can't cancel, they say they never said anything. They try to hide the reality of the contract you are signing telling you lies. I tried everything to cancel, but it was impossible. A debt collector started sending me bills for months that I did not use. Horrible experience. Never sign a paper with this company! keep away from this company!

I advise everyone against exercising here. There are better gyms in the same price category. (Original) Hét slechtste bedrijf ooit! Wat een slechte klantenservice hebben zij. De sportschool waar ik eerst lid van was, werd overgenomen door Basic fit. Vanaf de eerstvolgende dag was het direct verschrikkelijk. Tijdens COVID-19 werd er absoluut niet voldaan aan de adviezen en richtlijnen van de overheid. En over de hygiëne begin ik niet eens... Ik raad het iedereen af om hier te sporten. Er zijn betere sportscholen in dezelfde prijs categorie.

    DO NOT USE THIS GYM. I stayed in the Netherlands for 6 months and tried everything to cancel when I was leaving. It’s basically impossible, customer service are horrible to deal with and don’t care about helping you at all. Now I’m dealing with a debt collector and I have to pay for 3 months membership I haven’t used because of how impossible it is to cancel the membership. The alternative is a summons to court. I highly recommend staying away from this gym and not making the same mistake I did. Just read the reviews and STAY AWAY.

    Horrible customer service. I had requested to cancel which was clearly ignored as they tried to charge an extra month. I responded to them saying I cancelled and do not wish to pay, which was also ignored. Now months on they have passed my details onto debt collection for months of gym use I did not want because I could not cancel!! AVOID THEM

    Probably my worst customer service experience ever. Basic Fit thought of all the possible ways to make sure you cannot cancel your subscription. There is no working phone number to contact them, they reply with automatic messages to emails and when you go to a gym they tell you to go to the website. I lost 240 euros for nothing, I feel disgusted by how they operate. Don't ever become a client there.

    A couple months ago, I have signed up for this gym with the online system. However, there was a problem, and I did not know the transaction went through. So, I signed up another time, and accidentally made a duplicate membership without knowing. I only realised yesterday when I checked my bank balance and noticed I have been charged twice a month for five months now. When I went to the gym to ask about it, the guy was quite nice and said that I would be getting a refund. However, when I received an email from Basic fit, they said I am only eligible for one month's refund (around 30 Euros) because I have used two of these memberships. What happened was that I went to the gym with my boyfriend and I found out that I was logged out of the app (I use the bar code to enter). So, I stood by the entrance trying to log in but I forgot and changed the password. That was the moment I unknowingly used my duplicate membership. I am upset at this because it might be due to Basic fit's online system when signing up. Plus, I just gave Basic fit around 100+ Euros for nothing! Also, the customer service is terrible. I was told to make a formal complaint with customer service, but "Ruby" the bot was useless. So I am making my complaint here.

    Scamming, lying and deceiving company that operates in the same mafia-style throughout Europe. I registered with them for a yearly contract after having been assured by the sales person I could 'leave at any time as long as you go abroad' (which I did). Turns out they were lying to me with the only purpose being to sign a yearly contract. The customer support was terrible, extremely rude and incapable responses. Not to mention that they took ZERO responsability for the wrong information I received upon signing the contract. They literally said : Your fault for not reading the small print, instead of relying on the word of the salesperson. What?! This cancer in the gym scene will destroy itself soon, once people understand how terribly bad this is managed. I'll publish screenshots & this story in my (large 45k+) instagram, and make sure that no friend or family member in the entirety of Europe will ever do business with these thieving lyars. They stole 150 euros off me, but they will lose much much more by lying to be and deceiving me. Worthless, shameful, inept, criminal. STAY AWAY.

    Thieves and fraudsters..I only asked for a one-month membership and paid more, because I was in the Netherlands for 20 days on business, every month I was charged 40e, so 120e, I didn't notice right away..The gym is crowded, you wait 20 minutes for the machine , I do not recommend cooperation with this gym to anyone

    Basic Fit doesn't propose flexibility like paying only by month, or they do but in sharing customer's bank details and additional cost. It would be appropriate for people who want to train only for 1 month or 2 to have a real option. This company really doesn't have sportive sprit, they are here only to engage customer and optimize their revenue. Not good mentality at all

Dan is er vrijwel geen handhaving en zijn de voorschriften veelal symbolisch. Uiterst kwalijk gezien de risico's van het Corona virus.
