Hands down, diamond in the rough. My family and I went in to get the pizza that we had at the sky zone in Flanders but left with an entire experience of an authentic Italian spot with a hearty meal. Eva our waitress was so accommodating, informative, and Amazing. Do not let the outside fool you. It is not just a pizzeria. It is a full-blown quaint Italian restaurant in the back with the cleanest bathrooms. Treat yourself and go there.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. Excellent crust and the cheese was not too stringy or greasy. Good service in the 30-ish seat dinning area. Lots of take out business. Menu includes full dinners such as pasta dishes, sea food, etc.

An Italian delight for decades in little ole Netcong NJ. Great and large selection of regular pizzas and stuffed pizzas with all kinds of toppings options. Over to the restaurant side and they have a huge menu of all things Italian bit also many specials of America fare less Italian style. It is BYOB and the portions are often guaranteed a doggy bag especially if u have apps and salad and the big loaf of Italian bread at the table. Not a fancy place, casual and busy and well liked locally.

I am brand new to the area and I’ve tried a couple pizza places and this by far reminds me of my favorite place in my hometown delicious pizza! Today I wanted something else and was craving spaghetti and meatballs but didn’t want to cook at home. Normally I don’t order that out because nothing beats my own, or my moms. Fully expecting to have mediocre meatballs, took my first bite and was TOTALLY and FULLY pleased. They taste JUST like my family recipe! So delicious thank you!!!!!

Come here often for years. Would it kill you guys to smile once in a blue moon? We didn't have to come to THIS place for dinner. You're not the only game in town. I would suggest at least ACTING like you've been blessed to have such a successful family business for the last 200 years. Crack a smile and act grateful to your customers once in a while, your face won't shatter, I promise.

Totally disappointed. Not only are they not practicing safety measures such as properly wearing mask while they're making pizza, when I got home this is the bruschetta that I received . If I had wanted tomatoes chopped up and thrown on white bread , I wouldn't have asked for bruschetta. And last I checked eggplant rollatini should have a filling of ricotta not mozzarella. So sad But it is the mask issue that shows me how well they respect the community.

Simply the best! I've enjoyed pizza at this pizzeria since it opened in 1968. I went to school with Sal and Joe, who took over the business from their father, Carmine. My return trips to NJ are few, but I always return to Carmine's for pizza and likely a sit-down meal. The food and service is excellent with a cozy dining room experience. It is BYOB. A Quick Mart is across the street and the Shop-Rite is a two minute walk away. More than a pizzeria, the menu offers many Italian favorites fresh and made in the Ristorante. Carmine's is an icon in Netcong and NJ at 54 years and counting. You will not be disappointed!😉💯👍

I just don’t know what happened.. i’ve been going to Carmines for 48 years, give or take a year. A pizza is always been awesome, I now live out of state, and every time I’m back in the area, I stop in at Carmines, whether it’s for a slice or a whole pie. Well, I stopped by the other night, and ordered a pizza for eat in… I was so disappointed. Across just wasn’t right, there wasn’t enough sauce, I don’t know what happened on Saturday night. All I know is that the pizza I’ve been looking forward to for a month and a half wasn’t the same as it used to be, and I don’t know if I’ll ever be back.

Best pizza in the area, hands down with exactly 0 competition. Crust is always nice and done, the cheese is quality, and you can tell the sauce is not some garbage coming from a can. The counter workers can be short sometimes if they get busy, but it is well worth it when you get this kind of food afterwards.

Wow I remember this place used to be good. I used to love getting a pizza and a chicken parm dinner from this place. Went there for the first time in like 12 years. Chicken parm dinner was not that good and the pizza was terrible. I'm giving it two stars only because of how good it was back in the day. Such a shame!

Nice little cozy Pizza place. Food was good. I’d recommend the Pepperoni and the Neapolitan

Worth being a lil more pricey than their contemporaries bc they blow them out if the sauce! Best Pizza around! Ciao

Stopped by for a quick slice to try the place out. Pizza is actually pretty good. However, I had a pretty gross experience with the person who handled my pizza. This employee tried some food in front of me and proceeded to lick his fingers, and then touched my slice to transfer on the plate. I was so hungry I didn’t say anything, but I had to rip the crust off.

Oh my gosh! They have everything Italian and Greek on the menu 😋. Fantastic place for food and very good service! Highly recommend. Right near the train station.

Pizza looked like it was 2 days old and tasted like unseasoned cardboard. The server dropped the entire medal serving tray on the table and walked away without speaking. We then asked for ranch dressing. The server puts a disgusting squeeze bottle on the table that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months with crusted yellow ranch stuck to the side. Me, my wife, and 2 kids left after a single bite. My wife went to Carmines years ago and was embarrassed bringing me there for the first time.

Food great. They went out of their way to serve my dad anchovy slice. He's not had any in a long time.

Just moved into Netcong and stopped in for a slice. Always willing to support local business and do not leave many reviews. I really like pizza and know what a good pizza taste like, being from New York City. The quality of this pizza slice is not all good. Way too much cheese on the slice and very bread and lack taste. Unless this was a leftover pizza from the night before and served it today, than I understand from a business stand point. This is our experience. Thank you. Labor.

We came back home and needed to get our Jersey pizza fix. We were talking about getting a few slices and sharing them and were pleasantly surprised when they must have overheard and sent our slices out spilt in half and divided up between two plates. We sat at the small counter facing the street, so can't speek to the restaurant, or the rest of the menu - which is HUGE - but for grabbing some slices it was perfect.

I have come to Carmines over the years from 2005 to the present. Always very good quality Italian food and Pizza made by a real Italian family. Tonight I had Linguini with clams. Omg, out of this world. You can not go wrong ordering take out from this establishment, I never get a bad meal , period.

Great food, sub par atmosphere. So cheap on decor and service items. Grated parm stuck inside a plastic shaker, utensils so cheap and thin you slice your fingers on the sides of the fork. Really sends a message for thought...how else are they cutting corners. Sad, we always loved the food here.

Waited an hour and a half for food because they forgot to make the order. The order was then rushed and subsequently undercooked. The food that was edible was underwhelming at best. The restaurant itself was visibly chaotic with organization being low on the priority scale. There are many other better options in the local area. Overall would not recommend.

We had the pleasure of living close to Carmine’s for a few months last year. We tried many places in the area and always went back to Carmine’s! It is the best pizza my husband and I have ever had and we still talk about it. I hope we’ll go back some day!

I recently attended a baby shower that was held in the area, and they had Carmine's cater the event. The food was incredible! They bought chicken piccata, sausage & peppers, pasta with vodka cream sauce, pizza, salad, and garlic knots. Everything was perfect and I was cutting the chicken with a plastic spoon it was that tender! I will visit the next time we are in town!

Best pizza in the area, imo. I stop in for a few slices at least once a week. Good quality ingredients and a fantastic flavor. Good cheese, dough, and an excellent, slightly sweeter sauce.

Carmine’s was absolutely delicious! It was my favorite pizza we ate on our trip to New York/New Jersey. High quality ingredients really elevate their food. We did try multiple items, but the pizza was a real highlight. Staff was very friendly too! I would definitely recommend this place!

I haven’t been here in years, but this place made me fall in love with pasta e fagioli. They made one of the best versions of that soup that I’ve ever had to date.
