My family of 6 stayed at the Inn during a recent family reunion. Everything was absolutely fantastic. The rooms are spacious. The breakfast was a delight every morning. I enjoyed exploring every available room and outdoor space. It is a beautiful home and we will stay there again for any upcoming trips. I highly recommend!!

I really enjoyed my stay here during an active weekend of kayaking and hiking. Kitty's Room was clean and very comfortable. I appreciated little touches like the fluffy blanket in the closet, and the butler's pantry stocked with drinks and snacks downstairs. I only got to have one hot breakfast due to my early departure each morning, but it was delicious. The innkeeper was warm and friendly. This is one of the nicest places I've stayed in a while and I hope to return soon.

Spacious, clean, pleasant, very comfortable. Linens are soft and cozy. Bathroom, bedroom, sitting area and dining area couldn’t have been any cleaner. Every aspect of our stay was considered. Breakfast was hot, varied, and delicious. Several options to chose from and perfectly prepared. A big plus for us that there we’re comfortable chairs in the bedrooms. Mattresses are amazingly comfortable.

A home away from Home! If you ever happen to be in Elizabethtown, North Carolina please do yourself a favor and stay at the Elizabethtown Inn! From the moment that you step into this lovely Colonial house you will feel like you have gone back in time BUT with all it’s modern day luxuries. Christine (the owner) will be waiting for you with a smile on her face and give you recommendations for the area and if you’re lucky enough even enjoy a drink with you. There is a great coffee station with cold water, soft drinks and coffee that you can help yourself to whenever you want to. The rooms are roomy, very clean and the bed linen, towels and toiletries are of a very high quality and standard. I was lucky enough to spend 4 nights here during Hurricane Ian and already miss my daily breakfasts that were made to order according to preferences, from fresh fruit, oatmeal and the most delicious bacon, eggs and hashbrowns done in all ways (tots, hash or cake). It was a very enjoyable stay and you can see that Christine takes pride in her inn.

We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts over the years but this one is a gem tucked away in a rural part of NC. Our hostess, Christine, was welcoming from the moment we arrived, making sure we knew all the details of this lovely establishment and would be comfortable. The grounds are well kept with a lovely display of roses along the front walk to look upon as you walk up to the main entrance. Breakfast was lovely, we have never been given the option of what we would like for breakfast before and we each had a perfectly cooked breakfast to start our day out with. We look forward to returning soon to this gem! Thank you Christine!

I stayed here as the guest of a local bride and have never been more impressed with accommodations or hospitality anywhere. The building is unspeakably lovely, the upgrades modern and convenient while still being charming, and Christine is the most generous, lovely, kind-hearted person whose care for what she does truly shows in every respect. I don't think I'll ever stay anywhere I'll enjoy more than I enjoyed my time at the Elizabethtown Inn.

Lovely stay! Christine gave us a very warm welcome and introduction to the property. The Inn's historical aspect is apparent in every room, and we enjoyed the beautiful furnishings and grounds. The property is very clean and beautifully kept. Although we had planned to eat at the local winery, we were too exhausted to wait for our "first available" 7:45 dinner reservation, so opted for an early dinner at the nearby Mexican restaurant. It was quick and delicious - especially the fresh guacamole recommended by Christine. She is a great host, and we would definitely stay with her again if our travels took us near Elizabethtown.

I stayed at the Inn Mid March 2022 (solo female traveller) and absolutely loved everything about my stay here. Easy to find, a few miles outside town (but walkable distance), quiet area. The host, Elizabeth, will blow you away with her warm and genuine hospitality and kindness. She is so charming and welcomed me and others in my hiking group as if we've known each for years. The breakfasts were beyond words - it'll be difficult to go back to your normal breakfast routine. All in all, next time I am in the area, this is the only place I'll stay. Tip: Book in advance!

It was one of the best experiences ever. Christine is an excellent Inn Keeper and host. We had a wonderful time during our Labor Day weekend adventure. She's also a super cook!! We will definitely be coming back one day.

The Elizabethtown Inn is a beautiful historic home! The location is excellent and so close to downtown Elizabethtown. The Inns historical aspects show in every room! Not only is it a great place to stay, it is also a great place for hosting parties! I have been to a few bridal luncheons, baby showers and wedding showers here. It is a wonderful event space inside the home as well as under the carport. I am glad the owner, Christine remodable the home, while still keeping most of its original aspects. I think it is a wonderful addition to Elizabethtown!

The Inn at Elizabethtown is special. We love inns and this one is immaculate, super well-run and extremely historic. James checked us in and gave us all kinds of useful info including a referral to an excellent family run Mexican restaurant. Owner Christine served a delightfully elegant breakfast the next morning to power us down the “winding road!” Everything was fresh and well prepared complete with our choice of soft music. We wanted to escape the I95 vibe and went 25 minutes east off the interstate—Our expectations were totally exceeded; it was so worth it. Highly recommended!
