I was moving from out of state and Heather and Chris made me feel right at home for 6 weeks. I loved all the animals and the dogs were a bonus. I felt like I had pet therapy available when ever I needed it. Heather and Chris made me feel like part of their family and other guest were friendly and respectful of each other. My stay at Parkton Place made my transition to North Carolina less stressful and in a safe environment.

I cant say enough about this place! Heather is super sweet! I mainly photograph here my clients and I love coming here, everyone I have come in contact with is super friendly and accommodating! The animals are kind as well! The grounds are always kept clean and despite all of the animals its a safe and beautiful place 10/10 highly recommend. #MelaJayPhotography

I got my daughter's senior photo shoot done there and the place is absolutely beautiful! If there was anything else going on I couldn't even tell because there were so many beautiful spots to go to. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I had a group of 10+ that stayed at Parkton Place for our 8 night stay. It was a wonderful experience due to the flexibility and ease of our host. We had some requirements (outside tables for cleaning of items as well as needing to move some furniture around) and Heather was incredibly responsive and very laid back about all of it. This house is occupied by the owners and they essentially move out when you come to rent the entire property. That means this house will be “lived in”…so we knew that and frankly appreciated the space because of it, but if you are looking for a sterile environment…this is not your venue. We also loved animals, and I felt right home having 40+ animals on the property and their dog Bear that practically lived with us for the entirety of our stay, but again…if you don’t like animals…this is not your place. We had a private chef for this experience and he was very happy with the set-up for the kitchen. There is a main fridge and then an added storage fridge as well as a smaller drink fridge. The washer/dryer in the house were great, hot water was not an issue and everyone felt very comfortable at the house. This is the type of place you can sit out on the back porch with a cup of coffee and enjoy just being in the moment. The animals are all content and well cared for and you can exist and be completely at peace. We were about 25 minutes from the Fresh Market (which is their Whole Foods) and I actually liked being a ways outside the main city of Fayetteville. If you are looking to host an event, party, retreat and need a quiet (other than the sound of animals around you) and private space with a wonderful hostess…look no further than Parkton Place.

Absolutely gorgeous home and the atmosphere is even more amazing!!! Quiet and country with breathtaking views. Stunning horses, quacking ducks, a fat pot belly pig, goats and a big fluffy lovable dog are a few of the many animals you may spot on the property!!! Plenty of room to host weddings and parties both big and small. The host are ultra friendly and just good down to earth folks, highly recommended if not for anything else but the experience.

Wow wow wow I can't say enough about this magnificent place and the whole atmosphere it offers. Beds were comfortable, and the place was clean and well maintained. Peace, quiet, and tranquil only begin to describe this lovely farm.

I have frequented this location due to it being a fun animal filled, great photography atmosphere. The owners care about everyone who visits. And the animals are part of the charm of this great place. It doubles as a therapy farm called Hope Thru Horses, in which rescued and other animals help humans deal with life.
