Tastes great! The sushi wasn't cheap, though.

My daughter took me to this restaurant on Glenwood Ave O Sushi this was our first visit let me tell you the food is better than just GREAT try AMAZING. Customer service and wait staff very friendly and kind really know how to interact with customers. The menu has so many wonderful items to choose from. They also have a lot of drink specials for the ones looking for a great deal. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone especially for any celebration or date night or birthday or anniversary. They give you a lot of food and the prices are very affordable for everyone. We had to get a togo box. Our Waitress Michelle was amazing. Great service

This place is small and very cute. Love the decor. It's downtown so parking is a Hassel. You'll definitely have to walk from the parking lot. But the sushi is phenomenal. The hibachi really didn't tickle my fancy. Chicken was very hard and dry. The broccoli could have been cooked longer it was crunchy salad broccoli. The apple sake was too die for. I love the way they serve it in the bottle. Very clean place as well

Great place‼️. Went there for my birthday dinner. First time dining there. We had sashimi, and sushi, and bacon-fried rice, also tempura vegetables, and more. Our waitress was excellent, and I definitely will return again‼️

Great sushi and atmosphere is ok for outdoors. That old saying "It's not the heat it's the humidity!" Really rings true in Raliegh. Also the Dragon roll was not a favorite, baked sushi on a hot day wasn't a winning choice. I removed 1 star for wait time and beer selection being restocked.

Was in the mood for some sushi, so decided to check this spot out. It was very hot outside and so we needed to be inside, this place had both seating available luckily. The sushi is interesting as they have random ingredients in them like mango, pineapples, asparagus, and the list goes on. It was decent sushi, but not the best in Raleigh. I give it a 3 because of how random it was and the prices are a little much.

I've been to many sushi restaurants in the triangle area, but this one is number one. The server and hostess were both extremely attentive. The server had a great sense of humor and I could tell she enjoyed serving my wife and I. We both ordered a Tom Yum that was the perfect level of spicy to prepare our taste buds for our sushi. I had a Mary Roll and my wife had a Firecracker roll. Both were prepared expertly by Suki. The Monday special of $3 draft beers made the drink choice easy and inspired me to try the Kyoto Rise. A refreshing mix of Malibu Rum, pineapple juice, grenadine, and sprite prepared by Marielle. This is not a restaurant to sleep on when visiting Raleigh! Make sure you get your chance to enjoy this wonderful restaurant just like we did!!

Sushi O is a great little sushi restaurant on Glenwood Ave in Raleigh downtown. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, and the service is friendly and attentive. We ordered the veg sushi which was fresh and delicious. The drinks were decent too. We also got the drunken noodles and just a heads up that their lunch and dinner prices are different for the same dishes. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great sushi experience. It can get crowded on weekends, they have a nice outdoor space as well, but they don't take reservations.

Not many gluten free options and our waitress was very unsure about gluten free. The drinks were tasty and the sushi was good. They had a special on sushi rolls which was good. I feel the restaurant should educate the staff more on gluten free and have a small menu. Nice atmosphere for the area.

Seriously overpriced, absolutely mediocre taste Meal’s price depends on whether it’s lunch or dinner. Paid $25 for a plate of bland noodles with weird tomato sauce (supposed to be pad thai) and extra $3 for about 5 small shrimp Very dissatisfied

The Singapore noodles had a piece of long strand hair or materiel in it. The waitress offered to take the meal off of our bill. The spring rolls tasted as if the veggies were frozen and not fresh. I visited this place well over 3 years ago and rated them a 4/5 stars. But now if I could rate 0 stars I would. I don’t want to have to go out to eat and pick through my food to see if there’s hair , material , strings, etc. this is why I cook home and eat at home. Be mindful when going here. Let me say however, our waitress was extremely nice and helpful.

While the service was a little slower than I'd like, the sushi was fantastic! I got the surf and turf roll and also mackerel sashimi... the later of which I got extra of to take home later 😋 This is by far one of my favorite sushi places and I can't wait to come back!

Place was really nice and service was good. They didn’t have a any sushi specials and calamari didn’t have a lot of flavor. But overall it was a good spot to take someone on a date.

Oh my! It hurts my heart to have to give anyone one star BUT it's Thursday at 7:00 pm and we were a party of 3 and got a seated to be out right ignored. Servers passed us and wouldn't make eye contact with any of us. After 15 minutes we got up and left and no one said a word. That's my 2¢ now you decide.

Stopped in for lunch 08SEP22. Had the Crab Rangoon Roll and Rice Noodle stir fry with tofu. Friendly staff, good service. Quite good, though not my cup of tea.

Good restraunt with tons of food options for Asian dishes. Tried the drunken noodles, fried red snapper, and sushi. The food was solid and we got to enjoy some cool weather during this hot summer on their patio. I will go again for any special occasion for someone wants sushi. I say occasion, because the price is a little higher than standard nightly fare but nothing crazy. I would recommend again.

Great atmosphere, loved the sushi choices we had. No kids menu but we ordered 1 dinner plate that was big enough for them. Only complain is there are flys inside the restaurant and the tables are a little too close to each other.

It was good but for me the rolls could have been rolled tighter. Overall a good experience

This is my favorite sushi restaurant to visit! The atmosphere is great, the food is always delicious, and the staff is always super kind and friendly! I have come with as little as 2 people and over 10 and is still always great. I also love that there is access to the parking garage and they will pay for your parking if you dine there so you don't have to!

Cannot rave enough about this place! Best sushi we've ever had here. And best we've had in a while! The Queen Roll, Super Roll and Bagel Roll were so tasty and the Midori martini was fantastic. We had our first date there and come back when we're in town. Will definitely be back and will be telling all our relatives who live nearby to come check it out!

Great service! We arrived before lunch rush hour. Loved the lunch sushi special, the rolls were so delicious and fresh! The Hong Kong duck wow 🤩. Great portions.
