The past 4 times have been horrible. Employees always on their phones. Had to literally ask one employee to wash his hands before fixing our food. He literally just put his phone in his pocket and was about to put on gloves. Hanging out in the break area when customers walk in they seem so bothered like we’re disturbing them. Last straw was this little boy walking around behind the counter definitely not sanitary at all. Place was so dirty. Something definitely has to be done.

I ordered a Caribbean jerk chicken wrap minus the chicken and found a bread tie in my food instead. So nasty and unsanitary. Manager said she was refunding my money and never did! The health department needs to visit this location immediately!! If I could give it 0 stars I would.

First time here came with my girl, didn't really know what to order, girl at the register leaned on the register lazily didn't offer any input. Had no idea they just leave your order on the counter opposite of your order so I'm looking at the entire group of employees who all looked miserable to be there while my drink just sat. We both got the same smoothie, hers tasted okay but mine was awful and just tasted like blender. Needless to say we got better service and much better smoothies at another place, never stopping here again

I’ve been here a few times now and it’s okay. One girl always burst out the minute you walk in and says, are you ready to order. Mostly we do the online order and they’re working on it. The smoothie’s are really good.

One of the employees Mauryannia and the MOD was very rude to another one of the employees and fired her for having a panic attack. She left the store crying and they didn't care. I have never seen such terrible people treat someone like that. I will not be going here again. Someone needs to do something or this will be reported to the labor board.

This Is always a must have. They have a Hawaian Pizza too. Normally I would order the Chicken Pesto.

UPDATE: My visit was August 22nd around 10:45 am. This was absolutely the worst smoothie I've had from this franchise. Not only did it taste horrible the presentation was less than stellar. I felt like the person making this was brand-new and did not have the proper support around her and I will watch carefully and if she is making my drink I will ask for someone else in the future. I wish I could have drank it in the store so I could have gotten my money back.

Smoothies are delicious but very inconsistent lately. My last 3 were not drinkable. Not smooth at all. It was like drinking spinach & kale mush. Then went the next day to get a replacement & they said "I'm sorry the manager didnt put your name on the list. We can't replace your order" They used to be so amazing. Customer service & drinks were awesome. They'd give you the leftovers from the blender which you usually have when you customize. They say they're not allowed anymore. I paid to add more fruit, I should get the extra! After all they just throw it away!! Very Disappointed the last few months.

After finding hair in my food i called to let the know the GM sounded like she was brushing it off and told me to just come back in and they will remake my food. I was going to but i changed my mind due to her being nonchalant and there was no concern or apology. I will just not be returning to this location. Update: i went to the website and put a complaint in. I have yet to get a phone call or email about the hair in my food and the fact they did not care. I have not visited another location and dont plan to due to this business not caring about safety and sanitation. This was a very long piece of hair the employee had to be messing with their hair around the food for this to happen. This company does not care and you have lost a frequent customer as i use to go just about every morning!

This location used to be phenomenal however it has declined quickly. I went in the other night and ordered a smoothie and quesadilla. Not only were there small roaches crawling on the counters but yes there was a roach in my quesadilla. I highly recommend a change in staff and the health department come into this location.

Customer service here has gone downhill. Employees don’t acknowledge customers and act like a paying customer is an inconvenience to them. I stood at the cash register for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement or no, “we’ll be right with you”. The workers mumble when talking to customers and just lack basic work ethic and service skills

The Walter reed rd is one of the worst location. I have never been to a tropical smoothie with worst customer service, if I were you I would avoid this location at all costs and that is definitely what I will be doing for now on. The plus sized manager (I don’t know her name) was incredibly rude because she didn’t like the size of my order.

Paid almost $10 for my smoothie adding extras and then was told that I couldn’t get the extras after they poured it in my cup. I won’t waste my money like that no more. I didn’t get my receipt either so I don’t know if the price I paid was accurate. The staff seemed irritated because they were the only two working. I won’t be going back.

I had a long day at work so I pick up smoothies otw home.....get home and have to hear the kids fight about who’s getting the PB Cup smoothie with the lesser amount!!! Come on!!! Aren’t they all supposed to be the same size? I paid $25 for smoothies....they should all be full when I pick them up!! Won’t be coming back to this location!!! Thanks!

Great menu and smoothies but the servings are not consistent. Depending on who makes them, the wraps and flat bread ingredients need to spread evenly with a generous amount and the smoothies too chunky and at times very smooth and good. I suggest more training would be helpful.

Tried the island detox green with a hummus wrap. Give them 6 out of 10. Smoothie tasted a little off and color was really light. Would love if they had a brown or wild rice option on the wraps.

My peanut paradise drink was pretty watered down and had a faint taste of peanut butter. I'm not sure if the drink was messed up or if I'm used to smoothie kings drinks...but the drinks could ne better. However, the restaurant was clean and staff was nice.

Alexandria (shift manager) was professional and friendly. Greeted me at the front door. My order was wrong but she went out of her way to ensure I was taken care. Huge thanks for your assistance and customer service!!!

Store is unsanitary… place was empty when I entered but the trash can was overflowing. After I placed my order I sat down at the counter and seen a baby roach! It was just crawling all over the counter. Probably because of the residue that was piled up on it. As the surface doesn’t look like it’s throughly cleaned properly. Customer service was less than mediocre. Not going back

I always have a good experience here the staff even helped me out one time with my phone went dead. I wish they had a drive-through. I love the mango madness 1/2 Turbinado.

Just left the Walter Reed Rd location in NC and the plus size woman working has no customer service whatsoever…. I walked in only one other customer was in the store and she never acknowledged my presence as I stood at the register to order so I just left after a few minutes and went to the location on Skibo. I’m sorry but customer service goes a long way with me.

I am a firm believer that same named chains but different workers makes a difference in products! I loveeeee this location. It is honestly the best in Fayetteville. I’ve tried others in the area & it is not as good as this location. Thank y’all for all y’all do! Please keep up the good work ❤️

This is one of my favorite places to go!!! Everything is nice and clean and made fresh. However, if you go on the weekend they do have a problem with opening on time. We sat in the car and waited 10-15 minutes waiting for them to open the doors. Only one person was there on time but did not open doors until other person showed up. They do great service but they don’t seem to be managed well as far as opening times and being prepared for customers. For example, when they open the door they are still assembling equipment which makes the wait time longer.

Worse experience I’ve ever had at a Tropical Smoothie. Ordered $100 worth of food & smoothies and only received the smoothies. Called the store and spoke to the manager Moreanna Jones, and was told she knew my food was not sent and that I would have to place the order AGAIN to have my food delivered or she would refund my money later in the day. She was incredibly rude, spoke over me and had zero apology for the mistake made. Was nonchalant about the inconvenience and refused to give any contact information for the district manager nor the owner of the establishment. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION.

Had a pickup order from this place, went inside and the guy making the drink was not wearing his mask properly and continuously touching his pants and shirt.. I informed the manager on duty Ashlyn about the nc health standards and asked for her to wait to mention to the employee until i leave from the restaurant to say anything and she rudely told the employee immediately what I said and bantering shrugged it off and said she didn't hear me... I will not be going back here..

Updated my rating to 1 star. I ordered a smokey bacon grilled cheese sandwich but recieved something else. I don't really know what this is, but looks like someone sat on it and cut with a pocket knife.

This place was a joke. They close at 9pm. We show up at 8:30 driving well out of our way to get there, haven't eaten in hours because we looked forward to this place and they have already shut down so we can't even order what we came for. How lazy!! Extremely unsatisfied. Wish I could give 0 stars. Waist of time.

I wish I could give this location 0 stars. My son ordered a smoothie using their app. The smoothie was not made according to what my son ordered. My son called about the issue and they basically told him he would have to order and pay for another smoothie. He was told that he physically removed items from the smoothie to make add ons. He’s telling them that he did not remove anything and was basically told no, he did and would still have to purchase another smoothie. I’m so over a lot of these fast food spots with poor customer service skills.

Clear instructions, right, two different types of smoothies im trying to order with this half baked Lady here, I say half baked because I dont know how else you could possibly mess up an order? She puts the two different orders into one smoothie and after confronting her she gets irritated and goes on to complicate the process to even out the mistake and calls the Manager which is also on the same level as her, rude and unprofessional. Gas lighting the costumer into making them think that they made a mistake is not a good idea, especially when your behavior in such situations shows why there was a mistake done in the first place. I wont ever go back to this place or any tropical cafe again. I dont support such behavior sorry, not sorry.

Whether they're busy, not busy, whatever, they get my smoothie order wrong about 60% of the time. I don't know what I'm supposed to think about that. I have putting off writing this review because I don't like writing bad reviews. Thankfully the smoothies are all pretty delicious so it kind of doesn't matter. But the carelessness needs to be addressed. The staff always seem lazy and distracted.

Love tropical smoothie! So many ways to make a healthy smoothie. Peanut paradise with pea protein and stevia is awesome!! I will say this specific tropical smoothie, customer service is lacking, behind the counter people were standing around talking, looking confused and not at all in a rush with the amount of people inside the establishment.

Went to the Walter rd location at 11:20 am and was not greeted with a hello was immediately asked if I was there to pick up and order I said no I want to place one and the worker said “well it is going to be a really really long wait I have back up orders and proceeded to mix her drinks never asking me what would I like or do I want to wait… so rude I would of place an order online but misplaced my debit card not everyone is going to order online for tropical smoothie convenience. I did not have a problem waiting I expect that but you could of at least given me the chance to wait !

Delicious, clean and flavorful. The restaurant may looks like a small fast food dining, but it is not, it provide high quality African food with friendly service. Just make sure you understand what you order because there are lots of choices in their manue.
