The middle aged Caucasian woman who was checking receipts on 1/30/22, at 2pm, was extremely rude to me. I just purchased my membership one week ago and am totally new to the way this establishment runs. My self check out machine did not print me a receipt and the woman checking receipts sent me to customer service to retrieve my receipt. Customer service verified I paid and notified her over their walkie talkie that I had paid and could exit the premises. I went back up front and attempted to leave again. The same middle aged Caucasian woman told me that despite them verifying I paid, she was not letting me leave without a receipt and rerouted me to the customer service desk again. She yelled at me in front of a crowd of people which was very embarrassing, and humiliating, being I was cooperating with everything I was being directed to do. An employee from customer service had to step aside from what she was doing and physically walk me to the front entrance and tell the employee to let me leave. The customer service employee was extremely busy and should not have had to escort me to exit the store after it already having been verified I paid. The customer service employee was disrupted from her hard work just to help me to exit the premises. The way I was treated was absolutely unacceptable, uncalled for, and very embarrassing. I have had my membership 7 days and don’t plan on returning being the woman at the exit / entrance treated me that way.

Not happy with the Fayetteville,NC location. Their curbside pick up is awful! You wait a long time for your order to be brought out and this last time with me giving them a try, they got my order wrong TWICE in a day- first the employee come bringing me the wrong entire order, then they send another employee out with what i thought was my order and she wants to debate with me about how long it took her to bring my order out. I get home and discover an item of mine was not what i ordered..it was the wrong size. I will be returning the mess back first thing in the morning to and GETTING WHAT I ORDERED AND PAID FOR. I will get my membership with Sams Club now and do away with Bjs. Just awful customer service and curbside pick up!

Liked the products but don’t really see a savings in prices. Compared to other places their prices are high. As a handicapped person all of their rows of ride on carts are broken. I had to use one that made my whole shopping experience unbearable!!! The employees were friendly and helpful and they were offering free samples. I like the fact they sale in bulk but their bulk prices are not that much of savings. They should fix the riding carts. It’s a shame that they have 20 broken ones sitting there. Shame on management for thinking that handicap people do not matter!!!

Profiling at its best! Everyone pays a membership to shop here and yet they still racially profile their members! If the company/management is worried that people might be stealing, don't have self check out or put an employee at the lane to "help" put items in cart, so they can verify items were bought! I was stopped at the door, so that the employee could physically take out of my cart and count items and then put those items into a different cart. She said she has to do that. However, when we were done, I waited to see if the people behind me got the same treatment. She never taken out any one persons items out of their cart, she never touched their items. She glanced at their cart and said “have a nice day”. She did this to several people. Do I believe it was racially profiled. You bet your sweeta** I do. If I wanted to be racially profiled I would of kept my money at Walmart or sams club.

Meat counter workers can use alot of training. Very unprofessional argue with us as the customer. Take people that got in line after us. Says there is no line cuts lunch meat wrong from what you ask for then gives you an attitude when you tell them it's wrong.

I was turned away from shopping at BJs because I had my registered service animal. I've been going in there with her in the cart forever with no issues. All of a sudden, I was told it's a health violation to have her in the cart, on her own blanket. She watches me. She can't see my face from on the floor if I start to have issues. As long as there are sick kids permitted in the store and in the carts to pass their germs along and leave drool/snot everywhere and it's fine, I fail to see an issue with a medically prescribed animal (who is clean and doesn't shed) simply doing her job while I shop. I will not be back and if you have a service animal of your own, you may as well avoid the headache. An absolute disgrace. I will be in contact with the correct departments to handle this.

The most pain in the rear store at which to shop. The customer service is non existent. If you point it out to them, they give you a gift card instead of training their employees correctly. God forbid you have a broken arm or a disability and need help! You are on your own.

Memberships are easy to get and if you’re in the military you get a great discount on the advanced membership. Tons of food options and bulk buys. Will go back!

What's not to love about BJs? Orders are always correct. When shopping in store, 98% of the items I want are fully stocked. Efficient check out. Good workers, friendly and helpful. I fee like I wasted a couple years with Sams Club.

I recommend purchase your tires from a tire specialist company not a wholesale connected tire center. I purchased 4 new tires January 2021 and less than a year and had normal tire wear. Unfortunately the tires did not hold up and warranty only covered nail puncture. The tires had pick up multiple punchers 2-3 visits to bjs to be plugged. To be exact it was three visits to get tire plugs. Third visit the tires showed signs of replacement. My daily commute is 8-10 miles from work and gym. In November 2021 tires commuted to West Virginia once from North Carolina and back. Their warranty is terrible and doesn’t covered replacement just a percentage thats calculated by the company. In other words very small percentage not friendly for a daily commuter. So I purchased another tire under the percentage discount towards a new tire which is one time and needed a tire rotation on the day of my appointment. They change the tire but no rotation. Told they couldn’t do the rotation come back anytime without an appointment. So I did and each time was told got appointments ahead of you come back so I did then again told come back. I waited 3 months came back was still told to come back for a tire rotation. I wasn’t coming back needed the manager this time. The experiences I’ve had with this tire center is terrible and the normal amount of personnel which is just one person makes the wait time hours. If you try calling good luck because the one person is working on tires or servicing propane tanks. Other tire companies specialize in quality service better warranties and efficiency. Bjs not saving me money it’s costing me money and wasting my time when I was trying to do one stop shop for member benefits savings.

Membership is decently priced. Selection and pricing is great for many options. Like to go in and just walk though and see what they have. Checkout is usually very prompt, if it’s slow it’s generally from the customers actions. Location is good, not too far on one end or far from Skibo. Gas prices are always very comparable and cheaper but often the wait time for pumps can be a bit.

As a truck driver. For the first time here I didn’t knew which door was for the drivers. I couldn’t see any signs on it or saying shipping. The receiver was mad because the load was late. When the load wasn’t even mine. It was another driver that couldn’t make it. There’s things that we can’t control.

BJ's has started relying on trickery by offering digital coupons if you spend "x" amount of dollars, (usually $100-$150) on one qualifying purchase. The trick is they delay doling out the digital coupon until a future date, so when you make the qualifying purchase, you have to notate it on your calendar to see if they'll be good for their word. In my case, they were not. When the date of the digital coupon deposit finally rolled around, I noticed it wasn't there. An inquiry to BJ's Customer Service triggered an email stating I didn't meet their criteria, although I have all the relevant documents proving that I did. Further email communication with BJ's revealed that I had allegedly only purchased one "qualifying" item, in my case, Downey Fabric Softener. The rest of the purchase was just for normal household goods. I won't be fooled again by their trickery. It's plain to see how they're now using dubious tactics like this in an effort to get customers to spend extra money by dangling a financial carrot, only to break the bonds of trust they've made with us over the years, who do this in good faith and expect BJ's to live up to their end of their agreement, which at least in my case, they did not. I will not be renewing my membership with a corporation I can no longer trust. Buyer beware.

At 3:20pm 7/5/2013 as I was headed out the store the young lady with short hair glasses she checked my receipt which is fine then she asked to open my cooler I said ok she was not gentle with my cooler at all she slammed it around in the basket putting scratches on it and then when she opened she just popped it open scratching the cooler and the only thing she did was laughed I don't see nothing funny about throwing people products around I hardly ever leave reviews

Love the place, variety and prices. The coupons help me save a lot! And gas prices are good!

I enjoyed my first visit here! I like the fact you can use coupons. Also, I just want to say the muffins are sooo super good. Fresh, huge, and oh so soft! I look forward to trying other bakery items here!

Tracie (wish I could remember the spelling) and team are awesome at picking and delivering orders to the car. BJs has such great product options. We price compare with Sam’s and buy so much here. So convenient! Inside the store is clean and well organized. I’ve never had a bad experience with staff and we’ve been members since they opened. Always a pleasure shopping at BJs!

I never have issues here! My issue is with the BJ's one mastercard. Do not believe the advertising. They say you get 10 cents off per gallon but thats not true. Gas price was 2.91 on 10/27/23 based on that the gas price should have been 2.81 with that card. After getting my receipt i saw that i was charged 2.84 instead. I called in to customer service and they are saying i got my .10 cents. The dude on the phone was taking the total gallons i got and multiplying that by 10%. This guves a whole different number than if i actually got .10 cents!! False advertising. Its not a huge different but the fact if the matter is if they are doing this to millions of people they are making a killing.

BJs reminds me of a smaller Costco style club. They will have unique items. I appreciate the app that offers additional savings.

I love it. It's an awesome store . It's like Sam's club but nicer and bigger. A better selection on what you can get.

Very busy traffic wise, kind of like playing frogger a lot due to the BJs gas station. Inside the store is usually very clean. Wish we could get back to the free snacks again.

Such a hustle & a hassle for a military spouse on a budget. Looks just like Costco inside for the layout, and we really love Costco. BJs prices are really not great compared to Walmart or the Comissary at Ft Bragg NC. We joined with a promotional membership fee of $25, with a free gift of $40 in shopping credit. Packed up the kids, spent gas money to get there and back: the prices were so so high for even paper towels & TP; we got one pack each, $40 spent Got to the cash register and only $30 of the $40 was able to be applied. So we received barely any discount with fuel to get there and back, and I'm 99% sure I'll never go back in there for a $10 remainder. Nowhere in the fine print did it mention the limit on the promotional credit. So deeply frustrating. Never again BJs.

They don’t pull expired meat, bread, and dairy products off the shelf, and even though their milk is allegedly well within date it goes bad a week before that. Called corporate to tell them they may want to check their cooler and they blew me off entirely. We are switching to Sams club.

On 7/26/22 I was sent a text my order was ready at 11:41am. I go to BJ'S Fayetteville NC to pickup my order curbside. I go to app to checkin and can't checkin from app. I try several try and still can't. An older short white woman walks pass my truck several times and ignores I am waiting. I finally get my order after waiting 45 minutes. Another short white female employee around 60 years old finally delivers my order to my truck. She literally throws my order on my truck and complains about how high my truck is and how heavy the items I ordered are. I paid for a membership to shop at this store. I won't renewal my membership again after the way I was treated from these 2 white female employees. I am very very dissatisfied with the service from this BJ'S. I am treated like this every time I come to this store.

I often come here to shop and it always takes a minute for cashiers to ring up items. but the past 2 times I've ran into a employee her name was Tiffany and she scanned my items so fast and she was so sweet she held conversation with me and also let me know that a couple of my items had coupons . She was so helpful and fast paced . And I remember mention she never had a job working like this and that she was a new hire. That was a plus. GOOD JOB TIFFANY

Nov 2021: Self checkout receipts are horrible, faded, illegible and just never print out clearly. It's been almost a year and still no change. One can barely make out the dates of their purchase or items. Absolutely unbelievable, that one has to waste extra time to get a fresh, clear/ fully legible receipt through customer service desk AFTER purchase. This is uncalled for and machines should not a kept if not functioning properly/clearly. This has gone into long. Nov 2020: Many items will be out of for weeks long before this pandemic. Cashiers are great. Curved front to side plexiglass protection needs to be placed between cashiers and customers with and an opening for the card machine as in many places, ASAP. Check out Aldi's as an example because they also put items in carts. Protect the employees especially, we need them!!! Also, they need to invest into better employee protection. For example, some customers walk all the way around the the cashiers side to look at the screen. Possibly some kind of counter extender, so that its too much for a customer who pass the register but its too much to pass the extender after the register. Thank you BJs employees whom are also practicing safety and protecting themselves because we need them around and SAFE. Godspeed.

I like BJ's, l like "big box" stores, and BJ's is in close proximity to my house. I like their quality of foods, especially their fresh produce and meats.
