The Park is mostly closed, only the pool side & slide are open while charging full price. & we got there late afternoon, a couple of hours b4 closing. Still got charged "Full price", really? The Bathrooms & deck area are in terrible shape, dirty & smells like mildew. Had fun, because we had friends & anyone can make the best of any situation, if you choose to, but I don't like to be taken advantage of... That's what Waldo's Beach Park did. False Advertising os robbery, illegal too, I'm sure! U know? Wanted a "Refund" after seeing there's no lake at all. The Attendants pretend not to understand english, 😥😔😭, Mercy! Can't reccomend... Everything needs a good cleaning & updating too. Half price, or 1/3 would bring me back. Not full price!

This is not a good place to stay. Owner is bipolar. Nice one minute and rude the next. Accused my dogs of doing everything wrong. Said my door was left open during the day while I was at work and they came and went cramping all over the park. I am not stupid to leave my door open and I have small dogs (Chihuahuas). There is no wifi, no pool as it advertised and most of the time we were there the lake had no water. You can't even get in the lake. The so called grounds keeper unhooked our power while weedeating ( if you want to call it that) During one of the hottest days last year (2022) when I came home from wok one of my babies had died from a heat stroke. The owner wanted me to throw her away in the trash instead of burying her. Didn't say sorry or anything. Don't Don't recommend this place at all.

The internet is horrible! Lake empty, which was not communicated up front, and the staff are not exactly friendly towards females. It’s a convenient area however the on site “beach” which contains a family area and pool plays music loudly so if you are a night shifter you may have issues sleeping. Sites are okay, nice clean showers, laundry is lacking as there are only two washers and two dryers. A big plus is this Campground is gated, they close the gates around ten and however goes out first opens the gate and leaves it that way.

My friends are living here in their RV full time. The people that run it are great! I helped them move it from another park, that was horrible. Lol. As soon as we parked it, and was done setting up.. The neighbors came over and introduced themselves! Real neighborly! Loved it. Plus, it's right next to a lake to fish. It also has a gate that closes at night and locks. I'd highly recommend this place. Great price, and friendly people!

Not as advertised, the lake has been drained and it was a waste of time driving out with the kids. The water slide is brown and condemed to include any water activities.

I lived here for 2 and a half years in my RV and saw the man who owns it periodically treat other people terribly and make up lies about them until they’d leave. Then it happened to me. He randomly one day told me i had 30 days to leave after making up lie after lie about me. He is a hateful, racist, horrible man. I caught him trying to tow my trailer away 2 weeks before the 30 days was up. He’s a crooked thief. He has continuously jacked up lot prices, the laundry area has only 2 washers and dryers that constantly break, the park is old and falling apart, and he doesn’t allow access to the water at all. This place isn’t worth the money you’ll pay to stay here. Please find another park to go to.

It was a stop through on our way to the Outer Banks, and we didn’t have sewer hook ups. It was ok. Close enough to a Walmart and grocery store and about 30 mins from downtown Fayetteville.

Nice Park Except a few things ,We spent 14 weeks here the owner is a older gentleman very nice. when we first got there he bent over backwards to help with a spot which we really appreciated ,the park also features a water park which is closed but ....we weren't there for that anyway .My only real issue is the amount of Large Scary Dogs ,we counted no less then 4 Pit bulls living there full time, very scary when you are walking for exercise other that we are thankful for the spot!

Basic, no shade place to park your RV. Not good for tents. Bathrooms not convenient but manager is super nice and helpful. Has a lake waterpark.

Been coming here since we were kids and now we bring our kids. Just wish the lake wasn't dried up the last time we went. The kids love the pool & the slide. Lifeguards are always on alert & do their jobs as they should. We will always come back!

Wonderful Scenery and Very Peaceful environment. Extremely affordable and great activities for the younger kids. Just faraway enough from town to keep the teenagers out of trouble. Great Ownership and Management. Owned by a family since 1986 and has grown to be beautiful establishment

We have been here since May. This place is very quiet and the owner is great. He was nice and he helped us when we needed a place to live. My husband and I are very pleased with this place. We highly recommend it.

Nice peaceful campground with a nice serene vibe sitting off of a active lake that was flowing. Some much needed work to be done but a nice owner who is very friendly and welcoming and goes out of his way to make sure that your stay is commanding. He made me fill very welcomed.

A coworker of mine was there late helping someone on the campground and they locked him inside the gate, he had to call 911 befor they would unlock it to let him out.

It's very pretty here even without lake access, it's quiet and the owner is nice. Our lot is a pull through lot where you can see the lake, so that's nice. Bring bug spray.

Drove to the office checking on site for weekend no one in office drive through and left

The owner is a pos. He hates kids. Can't wait until our rent is up.

The owner is the sweetest man, super animal friendly. The sites are a tad small but our neighbors were all very friendly. Locked at night, always a plus. I hope the lake is fixed soon, it would elevate the view to 4 star and if the shower arrangements were closer and there were more if them, I’d give it a 5

I dumped a load of rock there today, glad to see the lake has water in it again. Does anyone know if you can put a boat in and fish again

Fun place to take the kids. Its a man made lake so the water is brown and murky but its still fun to swim in. It doesn get very deep though. They have slides and swings and robes you can jump off of. They have a big pool with a huge slide and on the other side of the snack bar is a lazy river. Life guards are on duty also(or at least last time i was there)
