My dad was so excited to see the War Museums, being a 2x purple heart himself, 172nd Airborne. So we went to fort bragg war museum (82nd) first and didn't make it to Downtown where my dad would be able purchase stuff with 172nd on it. 😔 but his visit to see his babygirl was spectacular and all that mattered to me, seeing my daddy! Next time he come we definitely go DT.

Really needs more to be added. There are SO many opportunities for Excellent displays that show the 82d trials and tough periods. FOB Airborne, the founding of FOB Shank...So many missed opportunities. There is lots of unused space in the museum- more can be added. The displays are pretty basic, and mostly talk about equipment. Well, isn't it the Dedicated Soldiers who really deserve some recognition?

We have visited this museum multiple times during our time at Fort Liberty and it’s a favorite place for us to bring family when they come to visit. Very clean place, lots to read and look at inside. A theater to watch a documentary on the subject and a nicely stocked gift shop. There’s also plenty to look at outside the museum.

Great history museum about the 82nd Airborne Division. Very clean and accommodating. The pictures are of the outside of the museum. There is a building that shows the history and memorabilia of the 82nd Airborne Division.

I served at the 82nd Airborne for eight years. I recently visited and it did my heart good to see the names of my fallen comrades on the memorial. It was also extremely intriguing to look though all the war memorabilia. AATW!

Informative museum located on Ft. Bragg, nice exhibits and nice gift shop with lots of 82nd memorabilia. Museum is not very big but exhibits all of the exploits of the division. Museum is located on base, so you will have to check in to the Ft. Bragg visitor center and get a pass to be allowed on base.

Spend all that time on post doing the mission and never get the chance to walk up and down the airborne soldier museum and history trails? Go here, watch the video, walk the arrows, and go up into the "Airpark". It was a Saturday and (the Falcon Bigade was deployed) cross street barracks where ghost towns of brick and mortar, but the Airborne spirit was evident in the biting flies, the heat, the solemn air, the red soil and sand of the DZs, and the peace of the weather.

A great place for families, my kids were amazed by all the great collections of items. Definitely a place where bring kids instead let them play videogames! 🇺🇸

As I have been going senses I 1st stood guard duty atop the stairs in early 1997, much has been added. I truly enjoy that the history of so many that have survived in the 82nd Airborne, has been preserved for future generations. If you are going to Ft Bragg, make sure you find the time to stop by. Forgive me, Ft Liberty now.

The 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum is an exceptional tribute to the brave men and women who served our country during the Wars. This museum is a must-visit for anyone interested in the history of the US military and the role of the 82nd Airborne Division in particular. The exhibits in the museum are incredibly well-curated and informative, providing visitors with a detailed look into the life of a paratrooper during World War II. From the equipment and uniforms they used to the training they underwent, the museum does an excellent job of immersing visitors in the experience of being a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. One of the highlights of the museum is the collection of artifacts on display. From weapons and vehicles to personal belongings of soldiers, the museum houses a wealth of historical items that bring the story of the 82nd Airborne Division to life. The museum staff is knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the division, and they are always eager to answer questions and provide additional context for the exhibits. They offer guided tours that are both informative and engaging, making the museum a great destination for families and history buffs alike. Overall, the 82nd Airborne Division War Memorial Museum is a top-notch museum that pays tribute to the brave soldiers who fought for our country during World War II. I highly recommend visiting this museum to anyone who wants to learn more about the history of the US military and the contributions of the 82nd Airborne Division.

Excellent account of the history of special forces. Even though you can see the exhibits in 40 minutes allow at least 3 hours to visit it.

Pretty cool place, located in fort Liberty. Free to the public. Not much to see, and only wish you could go on or in the military vehicles/ aircrafts. But overall lots of information and a great place for a history lesson to teach your kids
