I took my youngest daughter to see some of the history her father was a part of. The exhibits were exceptional. There was a point where my emotions almost got the better of me. This museum is filling a large void with regards to information on the sacrifices our men and women in the Armed Forces have made to better this country and the world! The Staff was excellent! Definitely going back soon and frequently.

A wonderful visit to the Airborne and Special Operations museum just outside of Fort Bragg! Definitely allow yourself at least 2 hours to tour the entire facility and watch a few video loops. Admission is free and so is parking, there is a lot to see around the museum, memorial plaques and gardens to walk through.

A great afternoon to learn and pay respect to our lost, current and future soldiers who protect us from harm. Well organized and displayed. This exhibit is free but highly recommend a donation to keep such an inspirational institution going so that we never forget what our soldiers gave/give up for the freedom we take for granted.

I kept seeing ads for this place on my phone while I was playing games so I figured I'd come check it out and I'm really glad I did. The D-DAY 1944 Freedom From Above exhibit was really something! The near four hour drive was worth it to me.

Taken completely by surprise. This place is awesome! We go to lots of local museums, a couple of rooms, some nice displays /artifacts. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE PLACES. It is huge, excellently presented and very informative. If you are close and like military stuff go here!

Very Awesome Museum! It was very fun and interesting to go there and learn all the history. It was extremely cool to see all the models. There is a great gift shop there too. Without doubt going to The Airborne Museum is a great opportunity to take advantage of!

Wonderful museum! Lot’s to see, isn’t so big. Can spend all day reading the exhibits or can easily skim and not enjoy some history. Overall great experience my kids enjoyed. It is free but donations excepted. Noticed they had a lot of veterans working there, THANK YALL FOR YOUR SERVICE!!

Free museum in Fayetteville. If you are into learning about military special operation and war history, this place is definitely a must-visit if you are in the Fayetteville area. There is also a simulator ride where you get into a platform that moves around pneumatically to simulate being military vehicles ($10 to ride). Gift store available.

This is a very interesting Museum, it's not overwhelming and everything is theater specific. I would suggest going if you can

As you walk through the doors of the U.S. Army Airborne & Special Operations Museum, you are immediately transported into the world of these elite soldiers. The museum's exhibits are designed to take you on a journey through the history of the Airborne and Special Operations Forces, from their early days in World War II to their current role in the Global War on Terrorism. It was a great experience.

This is a well done visual history with interesting artifacts and lifelike figures. Starts at 1940 and walks you through to current conflicts. The volunteer staff were kind and shared the path to take through the exhibit. While we didn’t get to experience the simulator because it was down for repairs, we spent 1 1/2 hours walking through reading and viewing the exhibits. As veterans, it’s hard to leave without being impacted by the men and women who have served our country. As a free museum, I would definitely recommend visiting.

Amazing museum! It's free and even kids will have a great time. The veterans memorial is on the other side of the road, which is also very interesting.

Really nice and cool place to see if you’re going by, or if it’s on the route. The most important thing is, that it is free to go in and see the exhibitions! Informative and great museum.

Such a great homeschool field trip. There was so much to be taught and the museum does an excellent job illustrating the different roles and wars that took place. Can't believe it's donation only. They could easily charge a hefty entrance fee.

Time allocated: 3.5 – 5 hrs Fantastic! If you are not interested in the military or history, you may be able to go through in an hour. But if you like military history, you may find yourself staying for several hours. Only thing that was evidently missing was a static display of the aircraft that supported the Airborne and Spec Ops. Granted there are a couple within the museum, but sadly there are no large outside exhibits.

Beautiful place to visit, entry is free, but it would be great if you donate, the staff is great, and they also have a stimulator ride.

Very inlighting to see all of the wars. This museum is really nice with a lot of details. It was very very cool inside. The simulation is $10 and is total worth it. It will jerk you around a bit and the film is old and not to clear but still enjoyable. The staff was really nice and helpful.

I could have spent three more hours in this museum. The dioramas are so well made. The stepwise sequencing of events from inception to present day ops was "loud and clear". Floor directional arrows would help, as well as increased air flow on the exit end of the display area. Well worth the time and donation money to see the details from a black project perspective.

Amazing museum and wonderful staff. I can literally spend 4 hours here and still feel as though I'm missing important historical facts. Definitely recommend.

Great free museum. It's bigger than it looks and took us about an hour to walk through and see everything (without stopping to read much) and my 8 year old actually loved it. The immersive experience/ride was really fun and for only a $10 donation it's worth it. Definitely worth checking out!

If you're into military history, it's absolutely worth checking out. Free admission (donations are accepted) . Friendly and knowledgeable staff. The exhibits are very well crafted and tasteful. Go out of your way to see it.

Great place to take a 25 - 40 min self guided tour thru the museum. Military history and a teaching moment for my kids. The outside grounds are another 30 min. walk
