This is the third time I've been here and it's closed. It would be nice if there was a sign explaining hours or reason for being closed. Or at least on the website?

I've been going to this park for over a decade, wow I'm old. This park has improved so much over time and is a really nice place to run/walk (1 mile around), play pokemongo (have met so many people), walk your dog, enjoy the day etc. It is safe and security guards are always there. The park is very clean and well lit. I feel safe going here alone which is 90% of the time.

The park is great with a mile long walking trail surrounding it. There are multiple play sets that vary depending on the child's age. The park also has a skate park, baseball field, and a picnic area for families to enjoy. Along the trail walkers/ runners can see war memorial's and head stones honoring different individuals. Overall it's a great spot to spend with the family and get out of the house.

The park is great, but there is no shade over the playground. Honestly, they should put some of those shades up over the play equipment. The bathrooms are open and mostly clean. Lots of people walking using the walking paths. One of the few parks with an old fashion metal merry go round! My son's favorite. Also located here is a small skate park, ball fields, and small dog park.

Just as the previous person stated… came to the park today and closed per usual. A waste of time if kids can’t enjoy the playground.

It's nice but ppl DO NOT WATCH THEIR KIDS!!! Iv brought my children multiple times and why children thunk its ok to play when ppl are skating is beyond me. I'm trying to figure out why ppl even work here because they literally watch the kids slide up and down the skateboard ramp and run back and forth which can injure the person the skateboard and the small child running around. For the ppl they hire they need to speak to. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. The reason I say that is they stand and watch these kids and say nothing.

Kids played 2hours, the is between the baseball fields and behind the new fire station. Multiple entries to the park has just enough space for the smaller kids to play and the to stand around. Small simple park not much shade around but don't to the park when its blazing hot either. Bring your own water and snacks on hot days no water or snacks at the park. Lots of construction and traffic around the park right now but once everything is complete its gonna be a nice area

Only thing i seen was maybe the need of a few more benches and plumbed bathrooms and maybe vending machines now. Other than that I commend Hope Mills for thinking about the kiddos.

Attended a soccer game there for my granddaughter. The park was clean and looks to be well maintained.

It's great for older kids. Since they have added the new slides and things my 3 year old can not climb up the net to get to the slides, he likes the big slides just as the big kids but is afraid to climb the net...they should add stairs for the ones who would like to slide but can not climb the net. They do have a toddler area but the slides are small for him, they need to rethink the design.

I can't believe how this area of Hope Mills is beautifully unfolding. From the lake to the new state of the art fire department and to the park that is a staple in the community, Hope Mills is a great place to call home!

Great local park with many amenities including a large playground area, dog park (divisions for small and large dogs), basketball court, and one-miled paved walking path around the park.

They have totally upgraded this park to include a very cool splash pad and renovated basketball court.

The only thing better than this park is the church down the road. 5810 Rockfish Rd Hope Mills NC. Stay blessed, y'all. Every Sunday at 9:30, visitors welcomed.

The park is confusing to find how to get to each field. There aren't many signs or people giving directions to the park. Once in the park the kids have a good time and it seems safe.

Nice paved walking trail around the park. Some activities were inaccessible the day we went due to construction and improvements underway—which is a good sign that the town is taking care of the park. We want to return with the grandkids for them to enjoy the playground. Looks like a great place to meet up with friends. Sheltered and open areas provide places to relax, share a picnic, play some games, and more.

This is my 3 year old favorite park. He loves that he has 3 slides he can choose from. There are several places he can climb which he also loves. Every time we take him him he has a blast

Beautiful park should have playground equipment for older kids not just very small kids for ages like 7-10 other than that it's really nice

The park is currently being taken down & I'm assuming getting replaced (hopefully!) The only complaint I have is that they need better signs for the fields. Our son has his soccer games there & with it having multiple entrances; it can be confusing on how 2 get 2 the right field! But it's a good place 2 take the kiddos 2 okay! It has a few different fields for baseball, soccer, softball, etc.. a place 2 buy food &/or snacks; & bathrooms w/ water fountains! 😁 Hopefully they update the basketball court & goals bc it currently doesn't have any hoops on the goals! 😞

Dirty and a little dangerous on some aspects of the equipment like rusty and sharp pieces exposed and broken glass and trash in the sandy areas. It looks like they're working on updating things so maybe that will improve in the future. But it would be nice if it were fenced in, at least around the youngest age play structure.
