This park was the highlight of my kids day. They loved the splash pad and the spider web play area and school age playground. We went to check out the preschool side a few days later and my daughter loved it. The parks do need to be maintained a tad though. In the preschool park with the huge dragon, on the far side of the spider web play park, it needs to be power washed and the flooring needs to be recemented down The school age side has a monkey bar section that is missing. Idk how long ago its been missing, but that didn't stop the children from having fun. Bathrooms are available near the baseball fields and at the recreation center. Great park for a hot summer day of play. If shaded area is taken at the splash pad, bring a chair or mat to stay under the nearby trees.

Great place for the little ones, but it does get crowded fast.

Absolutely relish the experiences of serenity with the little ponds located adjacent to the ball field more so on the ftcc campus. Feeding The geese and fish are joyous. The park area has picked up alot of new visitors on account of the splash pad, and shade trees that canopy over the children's play areas. All together this area is very family friendly.

Great water park for younger kids. There's also 2 other playgrounds for younger & older kids within the same park. Just remind your kids not to run. Saw 2 kids run, slip, BOOM... and there day was ruined.

The park is not for smaller children, as many parts of the gym are above 5ft. Otherwise, it's a really good park for older children. You have three playground areas with a sandplay area. You've got two baseball fields and a soccer field. Really a nice area.

This is my go to park. Always clean. Fairly well maintained. Never a bad experience. Staff is friendly and their open basketball court is great.

The park is perfect. Sure bathrooms could be closer but, it is not over crowded. Some of the water pieces are not working but what is working, is enough for the kids to run around and stay pre occupied. I would definitely go back and recommend others to go if you are looking for something quick and easily accessible.

Splash pad was enjoyable just beware of the prickly feeling grass near the area. The park was nice but if it rain the day before make sure they play in shoes that can get dirt because it's full of mud.

Took my grandkids to the splash pad to play and it was great. Not too crowded and alot of space for them to roam and play in the water. Very good time

It's a nice park for children but they definitely need adult supervision. Staff is needed to clean up and empty the trash on the weekends, it was glass under the covered area where we had a small gathering for my 9 yr old niece's birthday. They had the audacity to charge for "reserving" a table that wasn't reserved and again it was a bunch of overflowing trash cans and broken glass. Not a good first time experience. The little splash area was cute, but no apparent concern for upkeep at the park as a whole. We made the best of it because the children had a good time.

We brought 2 children ages 5 and 10. They absolutely loved it here, especially the splash pad area. Visiting from out of state. Would definitely go back. We spent about 3 hrs. And it went by so fast

Great place to take your kids, but needs to be cleaned up. The walkways need to be swept. The picnic area needs to be power washed as well as the play equipment. This park needs just a little care to be an awesome park.

This park was really nice. It had plenty of play equipment for big and little kids. My girls loves the rock climbing walls. The park was clean, even if a bit muddy from all the rain we got right before we went. We def will be back to play.

Our favorite park! This park is great for families, consisting of two playgrounds, swings, and climbing structures for children. One of the playgrounds is for toddlers, which is great for parents who want to get the little ones acclimated to visiting the park and having fun. This park also has baseball/softball fields. In the summer the park offers a splash pad to allow the children to engage in outdoor water play. There is also a paved walking trail, which can also be used for rollerblading and bike riding. There is a picnic area and a huge field that allows for other outdoor fun, such as football, kite flying, Frisbee, etc. Having the Kiwanis rec center attached to the park is a bonus, providing bathroom facilities, refreshments, and indoor recreation. The only downside is that there could be more seating & the splash pad could be bigger, despite that, it is definitely a must visit spot. Check it out and have fun!

This was my first trip to Honeycutt Park. I was at a party held in one of the smaller rooms near the basketball court. I thought it was very nice and clean. The room was just right for the size of our party which was about twenty adults and about ten small children. They had a nice playground, but it was a little cold outside so I didn't check it out thoroughly. I would recommend this place.

Relaxation, clean, comfortable, friendly environment, wat else can I say except conjure an invitation to others! Fun accessories, bathrooms very thoroughly cleaned, I asked of the ladies room. No litter, smiling faces, reminded me of Christmas after all the gifts have been opened! Parking lot was 97% filled, with the spaces nearest the exit emptied! I enjoy this review almost as much as I did the visit. The water was fresh, clean & cool.

Attended Baby Shower for my nephew and his wife. It was a little emotional because of the loss of my sister. Staff became concerned because a few of us had to leave because we were crying. They were very comforting to us. It was a nice facility. They supplied tables and chairs.

We are traveling through nc from ohio. Stopped here to play. The splash pad was amazing. It turned off for no reason on everyone.. yes everyone tried the buttons. Not sure what happened... middle of the day. Anyways, we sat at the picnic tables to eat lunch across the way by the actual park and we were ran out by flies covering us and our food. Likely because of the overflowing trashcans all around. It was really annoying. Tons of flies not just 1 or 2. But overall really fun park!

Shaded play structure with lots of fun aspects for kids of all ages. And right next to a splash pad too! There are also bathrooms at the rec center.

Very nice park with lots of seating/picnic tables. Love the splash pad as well. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is due to some of the equipment being out dated, besides that it’s great!

The park itself is good. There are two playgrounds, one for toddlers and one for older kids. The toddler area doesn't have a whole lot, but it's enough to keep the little ones entertained for a while. The older kids section has a lot to it, there's like 3 or 4 different sections to it. My only complaint is that the older kids tend to take over the toddler area, which annoys me because toddlers only have this one small section to play in but the older kids have everything else.

The ground surround the play ground has rocks, sticks and wood chips. Ant hills are all around, careful where you sit. The water park side is nice but good luck with seating. Fun but just terribly designed or just cheap with upkeep.
