It's no wonder this place has received so many local awards for the best international cuisine, best Indian food, best vegan food, best vegetarian cuisine, and best chef. The food is authentic and delicious! I lived in India when I was in college, and their food took me right back to Mumbai, Calcutta, and New Delhi. The Naan is a must, and the spice is just right! If you aren't familiar with Indian spices, know that even the mild has a bit of a kick. You need to really like spicy if you order anything hot.

We made it to Bombay Bistro the other day and it was good. The restaurant was clean, had a welcoming vibe, and our server was great. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. Vegetable Sampler- 10/10 Lamb Curry- 7/10 (Flavor profile was on point but sauce was watery and skimpy on the protein) Chicken Tikka Masala- 7/10 (Forgot to add the spice we requested, sauce was too watery to our liking, and skimped on protein as well) Masala Chai (Not pictured) - 6/10

It was not at all what I expected based off the lack of decor and small business attention... but it was actually very delicious. I would come again.

Fantastic time at Bombay Bistro with friends. Our server, Josh, was very attentive and knowledgeable. It was an honor to meet the owner, Kumar, and his lovely wife. The food was flavorful and authentic. An overall great experience. Looking forward to the next visit.

Good but overpriced. Chicken Biryani is same quality and quantity as any other Indian restaurant, but almost twice the price at $25. I know it has a lot of spices, but $25 for a plate of mostly rice. Same Chicken Biryani is $14 right down the road. I’ll go back down the road.

One of the BEST restaurants in Fayetteville (possibly in all of NC!). And hands down the best Indian restaurant by far. Their food menu is extensive. I haven’t had anything sub-par flavor. My favorites are the kadai mushroom paneer and the chicken korma (it has pineapples so it’s sweet and savory). The garlic naan is fluffy and light. The rice pilaf is tasty, even though they serve their dishes with plain rice and pickled veggie salad, it’s a nice upgrade to get as well. The pilaf has green beans, corn, carrots, cashews, raisins and cinnamon and other herbs. They serve free pappadum (like a large cracker) with 2 chutneys. There’s an extensive and unique beer menu. Imagine beer from Brazil/ India/ Russia/ Cyprus and other places! The wall of awards and a 100 percent sanitation rating are the icing on the cake. The prices are very reasonable and to put a huge cherry on top, the owners (a husband and wife duo) are 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet! Definitely a feel-good mom and pop shop vibe with very friendly service. The guy is a lot of fun to talk and joke with.

Best Indian food I've ever had. This is my go to spot whenever I come to town. The staff is always very friendly, the food always tastes good, and the portions are huge. I recommend/drag this place to all my coworkers when we're in Fayetteville.

This is my first time coming here. The restaurant is small and homey on the inside. We were greeted warmly by Kumar and he guided us to our table. I love the beautiful decor inside. We ordered the Mango Lassi, Tandoori chicken appetizer, the mild butter chicken with rice & salad and the Aloo paratha. This was the first time trying the above dishes. The Mango Lassi is very good..it reminds me of mango sherbet. The Tandoori chicken is very good and seasoned well. We tried the Aloo paratha first and it is so good and filling. The butter chicken is very good and as we dipped the paratha in the sauce; it heightened the flavors of both. So very good. Kumar made sure to check on us and made the visit worth it. We wanted to try dessert but, we were too full. I would highly recommend coming here. Kumar has gained new customers because of how well he treated us and how good the food is. 🙂 We will be back.

Food was amazing that Butter Chicken medium heat and the Tandoori naan bread, Chefs Kiss!! Atmosphere was rich with Indian culture, all that was missing was some music in the background. I can’t remember what dish my husband had but it was also very delicious !! Will return again!

Bombay Bistro is a must try for some very tasty Indian food. This was my first time ordering from them, we got the bistro for 2 so that we could try a few different items. We LOVED the Malai kofta and paneer saag, and the samosas were so good. Everything has a ton of flavor. Just a heads up, the medium heat is quite spicy! Definitely happy to have a great Indian restaurant in town. :) Now go try it!

Everything was so yummy! We got the tikka masala and something else on the vegetarian menu, enjoyed it till the last bit. The mango lassi was great too, just had some cloves I believe which added an interesting flavor. Excited to go back and try something else. Friendly and welcoming owner.

Great Indian food! My wife and I usually get a Bistro for two meal to go and it lasts us for two meals. I’ve only had the lunch buffet once but it was good as well. Our go to Indian food place in Fayetteville. I like the pakoras, samosas and naan and I think by this point we’ve tried all the curries and liked them all. Writing this review made me hungry!

Very good! The whole experience was great. We loved the service, food, atmosphere, everything. It is a little pricey, but I like supporting this business. Would definitely return.

The best Indian food in Fayetteville. Flavors are delicious and a variety of menu choices will satisfy most palates. Locally owned for a long time. Only downside is the lunch buffet is no longer offered and the prices have increased but these seem to be universal symptoms of the economy at the moment.

This place may not look like much but has great Indian food. The naan, lamb vindaloo and especially the samosas and pakoras were delicious. This is our go-to Indian restaurant in Fayetteville.

The food is always great but I was a little disappointed at how the owner treated his waitress. She had the whole restaurant by herself and it was crowded. Kindness will get you a long way. The waitress was great by the way!

Normally, this place is fantastic. Today I get there to place a to-go order at 1:45pm. They close at 2pm until 4pm. It was made clear that they close soon, but it's a to-go order, not sit down and eat. Got home and the food was disappointing. Over $50 for two dinners. I don't patronize many restaurants and this was one I loved up until today. Too many restaurants going out of business due to shotty food and service and it's because one bad service. If you don't want people coming in to order that close to 2pm, then post it that way.

😐 I have been wanting to go here for a while. Finally went and was not impressed. We waited for over an hour. I assume "the manager" was very good at communicating that there would be a delay and that they would get us in ASAP. I ordered the salmon croquettes, they were more like salmon balls. Very sm...
