First time experience was not pleasant at all. Went through drive thru & apparently the microphone system isn’t great. Every two words the woman kept saying “repeat that”. We finally get to the window to pay & we ask if we can add a milkshake that we forgot to order with all the frustration with the speaker. He said let me ask, closes the window & comes back to say he can’t. Ok fine. *A bunch of kids just standing at the window staring, looking confused. they are ready to close early at 7:30pm instead of 9pm like the website says, so we can’t get back in drive thru to order the milkshake * He gives us our food. Chili cheese fries are just cheese fries with the amount of chili on them. Ask for ranch for our chicken tenders, the boy says they don’t have any. So I ask for bbq. He comes back to the window & gave us ranch & told us they found some. Seems to me they all need some more training. Will give them a second try later down the road when they have had time to get everything together. Bad service outweighed the food this time

Stopped here to get a concrete after dinner and was very disappointed. Drive thru line took a decent amount of time. The amount in the concrete seemed like it was less than 1 scoop of custard mixed with the toppings. Taste was good at least but not for the price.

First time there. Ordered through Drive-thru. Expected a juicy hot burger and hot onion rings, a full order for my $13.00. Burger was cold, bread crumbled when I tried to bite my burger which meant the bread was old. Onion rings were old amdb c old, very hard. First and last visit for the money spent. Not worth it.

Ordered a chili burger combo with onion rings and a shake. It came to $18 The combo said $9 on the menu board. They are charging almost $9 to upgrade the fries and drink and it's not even good! Can definitely see why there's hardly any cars there most of the time. Can get way cheaper food that tastes a lot better!

Normally the food that we get at the new HWY 55 is good. This evening, however, was different. It was the 1st time I had ordered the BLT.. Unfortunately,the bacon was so crisp you could not determine if you had 3 pieces of bacon or less. Definitely not 5 slices as advertised on the menu,because it was all in crumbs except for one piece which I did not realize until I got it home. Since I was hungry I went ahead and ate it. A picture is attached. Somebody needs to instruct your folks on properly cooking and counting bacon slices slowly where it will remain whole. Personally, I will not be a returning customer and will pass the word.

So last night was the 1st time we were gonna try this place we were really excited. I was really craving some chili cheese dogs. My fiance called me and made sure that what I wanted was correct. He's lucky he checked a second time because the 1st order had hot dogs with provolone cheese and mustard something he did not say at all. Though they go to remake it and he brings me home what I believe to be are supposed to be chili cheese dogs. These things were gross there was no chili it was cheese sauce with some meat bits and our chili cheese tots were the same way. He asked the lady for a couple of onions she said they were gonna be raw onions which were what we wanted but we got grilled onions and not even enough to put on the hot dogs. I am highly dissatisfied that anybody would be OK serving what we received last night and not knowing how to make a proper chili cheese dog. We probably won't be going back anytime soon given the type of food we've received. I didn't take a picture of the whole order cause what's there more to say but I did show a picture of what chili cheese dog should look like or chili dog and what we received.

I absolutely love this location 🥰. The servers greeted me & my family as they opened the door for all of us. I tried to call ahead to see if they could fit a party of 15. But, no phone number 😞. But, they seated us right away without hesitation. The robot who brought our food was the highlight of the night for all the kids. Thank you guys for making my moms birthday great 🥳 🥰. The whole night shift on 3/31 was great from the beginning to the end.

We have been to hwy 55 at a different location and it was amazing. This location was alright. Definitely not what we had at the other location. This location used cheaper food. We had a problem with our order they gave my toddler tater tots when we ordered French fries. The waitress that delivered it said that it was my fault and that is not whats on the ticket. she can put a order for fries that we have to pay for. My daughter has autism and will only eat a few things, French fries being one of them. The rest of the staff was friendly but that interaction and subpar food, just ruined it!

September 28, 2022 Our fries were cold, but our waitress made it right. We ended up getting our fries replaced with hot, fresh fries!

I had the shrimp PoBoy meal and it was terrible. First off they really should consider using bigger shrimp and deveined shrimp because looking at the poop shoot is a real turn off. Secondly my tots tasted old, cold, and like a school cafeteria. The worst I’ve ever had. The bread was fresh and a decent size for the price. Lettuce and tomato were fresh and I enjoyed the fancy sauce over the shrimp. But overall I do not recommend this particular meal. I have tried the burgers and they are pretty good but these tots fail every time. I do not plan on coming back to this location.

I'm here to let ya'll know that this is the second time I've had an issue with this restaurant at this particular location. The first time I went here was when they first opened. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak & it was the worse one I ever tasted at a Hwy 55. It was terribly bland & had no seasoning what so ever (never had a seasoning issue with any other Hwy 55) I told myself I would just stick to the other locations but today I thought I would give it another chance. WHY did I decide to do that? I went right after they opened at 11. The time on my receipt is 11:18...I ordered a chicken cheesesteak plain, nothing but onions & cheese and French fries. She repeated it all back, I said yes & pulled forward. I received my order & pulled off to not block the drive thru & checked my order. I had mushrooms on the my cheesesteak & tater tots instead of fries..why ask me what I want if you are just gonna give me what you wanted me to have. So I circled back through & told them my order was wrong. She looked at it..then said we are out of Steak buns! What are ya'll going to do for the rest of the day?!🤔 Anyway clearly not my problem so I got my money back & went to The Fried Turkey Shop...were my order is always right🤭if yall have not tried the Turkey Shop please do!!!

My name is Beth Cotton I just went to this HWY 55 at Trademore Village i went to the drive through order 2 banana splits I sat at the drive through for 16 minutes got to the window the girl ask are you the one who ordered 2 banana splits yes I am I said she starts to laugh we don’t have any bananas 🍌. Why didn’t you tell me that when I placed my order at the drive through. This place needs to teach their workers manners when they get hired.

Hands down the absolute worst "cheesesteak" I've ever had. The fries were terrible as well. I definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant

If you are like me and have constantly had bad experiences with this place, but still convince yourself to give them another shot…just don’t. Tonight was the last straw for me. How can you serve raw fries AND tots that have cheese and chili on top, still cold and frozen?? The food was absolutely horrible and inedible. The staff all seem to be high schoolers and could care less what someone’s food comes out like or if they’re satisfied. Y’all really need to get some people in there that can take a job seriously. Your ratings and business would be a lot better if so! No more from me though! A waste of time, food and money tonight! DO BETTER!

As soon as I unwrapped the burger I ordered I noticed a little “friend” on the edge of the bun.. pretty gross. Food looked amazing though but couldn’t bring myself to even eat any of it🤢

I am convinced cutting corners is their game. All I’m gonna say is IKYL this is not the salads with buger sliced tomatoes on top of brown lettuce and where is the bacon where are the cucumbers . IKYL THESE ONION RINGS SOFT AND SMASHED UP IN THIS CUP CANNOT BE THE ORDER I WAS EXPECTING. Nothing fresh y’all will pass anything out that window quickly to save inventory. I was so hungry and once again yall played me. WHY 😡

Don’t eat here if you want to have your order be correct. We ordered a combo with onion rings. It was instead rung up individually. We pointed out that it cost more that way and the person at the window told us “my manager says the price is similar” despite costing nearly $5 more. And they refused to correct their error. This isn’t the first time that we’ve had an order problem here.

We purchased the classic hamburger onion rings and my husband got fries to go. When we were driving home, we bit into a hamburger with bread that tasted like it was drenched in water and onion rings and fries that were cold. We had not even departed the restaurant for 5 minute. Very disappointed and will not go back to this particular establishment. We have eaten at the Hwy 55 raeford, purchased takeout and never served food that tasted previously cooked or bread that was soggy. So disappointed!

Had a lovely server. The burgers were not good. It tasted like someone added a garlic seasoning to the burger. I ordered a side salad and they placed it in the same plate as hot food. I also order a shrimp platter. The shrimp was cooked in a salty, pepper batter. It was too salty and too much pepper. I wish they were plain. The fries and tator tots were not not done. This was not my first time here. Other times I've been here the food was great. Whatever changed, please go back. Change is not always good.

I only pulled in because of how happy the person waving the sign outside was. To any management that sees this review today is September 25. The time was around 4:45 PM. that guy out there had the biggest smile on his face and 85° weather. Make sure he knows he’s doing a great job.

What in the world! They have little robots to carry the food. Pretty cool. Servers are super kind and friendly. Opened the door when I got there and when I left, even took my trash. This is a way better experience than I remember from my last hwy55 visit at another location. It did feel more like an old time car hop than a greasy burger dive. Give it a try again.

Great experience! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was served hot and fresh. Everything was delicious 😋. One small thing, the don't keep mustard in the bottle, they hand you packets which are messy.

The pricing is more than the big 3 but than again, the offerings are better. I've had the burgers, tater tots 😋, cheese steaks, floats and shakes. They'll make the shake the way that you want it; thick you'll need a spoon or a little thinner that a straw will do it. So when, I want more, Hwy 55.

The shrimp burger was very good. The cheese steak was not as good as usual. They usually load it up but mine was kinda thin this time on meat, shrooms, and onions. Tots are what they always are, tots. Nothing special. The shake and sundae was really good.

Food was cold. Buns were straight out of the fridge. Worst burger i had at Highway 55 ever. Fries were cold abd hard. Waitress is always good. Staff plays too much.

I don't know why one keeps going back when it's bad EVERY time!!!! Just hoping it will one day be as good as it was by Roses. Went again today and disappointed as usual. Burger made all sloppy, fries raw and cold. Really! I just wanted a good hot burger and fries. Done with this location

Been here twice so far and I have to say that we have never seen so many people eager and happy to be at work. Everyone is pleasant here. From the time we walk in the door we are greeted, seated and waited on with a smile. They are also happy to make recommendations for food items as well as letting us know about the custard of the day. Red velvet was our favorite so far! Our food comes out very quickly and the staff seems to work together as a team as well. So happy we have a place just down the road from our house to frequent. Great experiences, food, service and it’s clean. Good place all around. Looking forward to our next time here again.

This place was packed. Mostly because they just opened. Food was ok, order wasn't quite right, but I think it will get better as they get their feet under them and the crowd thins down to normal after a few weeks. UPDATE: Much less crowded these days and I think that helps. Went and had custard today and it was great!

Sarah was our waitress. She was great. My husband loves to kid-around with waitresses. Sarah was kidding around with him like they knew each other for years. We love going to Highway 55. The food is awesome and so is the staff. Thanks for a great meal and atmosphere.

Great experience! Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was how my burger bun was soggy near the end of the meal. Definitely not a deal breaker, though!

Omg where do I begin. Unfortunately this was the only place open other than TB and McD blah. The burger was so unpleasant that I have a stomach ache. Lettuce was like a thin plastic sheet, the cheese strong and cheap and the tomato not any help, and the bun soggy. How can a burger place have such dry unflavored burgers. The onion rings would have been really good but the bagged all the burgers on top of the fries and rings who does that? Never again!! It’s been over 10 yrs since I’ve had McD and I’d rather chance that. And no I don’t recommend anything unless I have a grudge against you.

I had the worst possible service at this establishment. The guy handed my order out to the wrong vehicle. He told me then He went to the car got the order back from them brought it inside and handed it to another guy who turned around and handed it to me. When I told them that was not right he said the people did not touch the order. I didn't stay and argue but when I looked my onion rings were dumped out so I threw the whole order away. I will never go back!

Who is the Manager of this place because that manager is horrible. 40mins waiting on food and it was cold and nasty this is how you run a business? Very disappointed the manager wasn't even there. This place was good at the beginning when they open now just horrible. There's always arguments within the workers and the young kids don't know what their doing. Matter of fact I just found out who manages this place Neil....The owner of Hwy 55 needs to check out the restaurant it's a mess and to be honest I only know one cook which we thought was a kitchen manager but seems to us that he doesn't get the recognition he deserves. I give Hwy 55 a zero now use to be a Five way to go Neil, so he's only a store manager there's no kitchen manager which it should be because if there was one that whole cook line would've been fired tonight. Needs to fire everyone except one cook last name Bunch, let that man run Hwy 55 and get rid of Neil because as me and my friends are sitting together sharing our experiences here it's very unprofessional how Neil is running that restaurant....

I got an all Americana burger with extra pickles and extra lettuce. The tomatoes were gritty, lettuce was NOT fresh (obviously), and the burger was drenched in mayo. I also tried to call in for the complaint so others wouldn’t experience the same thing but unfortunately the store phone wasn’t on either.
