The customer service was exceptional! We never ran low on drinks, and we were checked on frequently. The food was authentic and piping hot. I had chicken fajitas and it was delicious! The serving size for the price is great also. I will definitely be a regular!

Hot fresh and GOOD!! Waitress keeps you wanting more very knowledgeable. Never disappoint

I rated 3 stars but I don't think it's actually that bad I believe we just came during a rough time for some server were seated and waited around 20 minutes for anyone to talk to us when someone finally did come up she told us that Our server was very busy but she'd be glad to take our drink orders. I responded with can we order everything because we've been here for quite a while and we know what we want to eat? so she took our orders came back out with the drinks they were wrong, brought the food around 20 minutes later and it was OK. my wife's order was someone else's plate because it had nothing on it that she ordered The one thing I will say though is that the chips and souls are fantastic. I'd recommend this place if you're going out to drink and just want to eat chips and salsa and maybe an appetizer but definitely don't take the entire family because everything costs extra and just so you know the kids meals do not come with a drink.

Updated: FOOD POISONING. This place was the only thing I had yesterday, aside from a bag of chips. Woke up this morning with abdominal cramps, sweats & serious fatigue. Beware of this establishment. Mediocre service and food quality. Waiter brought out the wrong meal for me and realized his mistake after I had already had a few bites. Wife's taco salad was also brought out wrong and had to be fixed. The meat in her taco salad was watery and had a taste of sausage. I ordered the Chori Pollo plate. Chicken was slightly dry, while the chorizo was burnt and over spiced. Will NOT come back

Service and atmosphere is just shy of amazing. It's super great. The food is more than okay with tasty rice and beans with enchiladas shown in pic. I asked for one protein and got another 😅☺️ didn't mention it because tatse was still very good and the wait staff was busy moving about to have them wait on me again. Didn't want to complain or make more work for them. The chips tasted home made and just the right amount of crunch - for me. The salsa brought out was okay. Will visit again Perfect for one person, meeting with friends, and or family visit. First time eating at La Cocina's today 03/24/3022 our experience was amazing the staff and service was great the restaurant was very very clean the food was terrific. Highly suggest trying this restaurant out if you haven't already.

Plenty of seating available when we visited this Saturday night. The Texas margarita is a big drink, the Paloma was made well, and the Agua de Jamaica (Hibiscus tea) was delicious. Order the BEST chorizo queso dip for appetizer to go with your tortilla chips. The mole sauce just enough to cover the chicken breast. Keep in mind if you expect heavy sauce with a leg quarter. Tacos al pastor came in fresh tortillas but I couldn't taste the sweet. Staff was awesome and helped us order our meals with great answers.

Delicious Mexican food, to drink is good Orchata, beers, if you like spicy food I recommend Chile Colorado, Carne Asada, they have good services, we have the lucky ones every time we go there is the same waitress and we are so happy with his services and all of them they make you feel at home

The chips and salsa was good. Place seemed clean and nice atmosphere. They were only seating every other table due to social distancing and covid Guidelines. All the servers wore masks. The food was good however im pretty sure for whatever reason my order was mistaken. I'm not sure what they brought me out but I just done my best to eat what I could of it. Was disappointed because it wasn't what I ordered but my families ordered were all correct and they liked their food. Our server was nice. Would recommend. Just make sure they repeat your order back to you so everyone is on the same page with what was ordered.

New to the area from out of state. Absolutely amazing food ! Definitely recommend. They had amazing good portions of meat in the tacos and fajitas. The chips and salsa were amazing. Chips were warm, salsa was edible not too spicy usually I can't ear salsa to hot. Service was wonderful. Our server was kind and had a smile on his face. Very attentive to refills and clearing tables. Will be going back alot now

Best Mexican food around in the Fayetteville/Hope Mills area. Fast service and very nice employees. If you haven't been just try it out at least once you'll leave with a smile on your face and a full stomach

Greatest place in town! We took a restless 3 year old grandson and the rest of our family for lunch on Sunday, and had a beautiful afternoon on the Patio relaxing with our meal. Everyone made us feel like we were at home, and they were so accomodating and patient with our little person - AMAZING experience! The manager is SO NICE, and our food was fresh and delicious! 3 year old grandson at 2 big bowls of guacamole! Absolutely THE BEST! We'll be back soon!

Had a cheat day here by choice, can't get their Chili Colorado out of my head. Negra Modelo on draft too! Some of the best chili relleno around as well.

My wife and I used to live across the street and walk over all the time. Sadly we moved away, but made sure to grab dinner there when we stopped over in Fayetteville overnight. It is still excellent. If you live nearby, stop in and grab dinner. The staff is excellent, the food is superb, and prices are reasonable.

We’ve been coming here for years because it’s our favorite Mexican restaurant but recently they impressed me beyond the norm. I came to dine in and had a special request for a pregnancy craving, without question they made what I asked for and it was amazing. 4 days later I called for a pickup order with the same special request (pregnancy craving) and not only did they come through again but they remembered me and we had a good laugh on the phone. Upon arrival I was greeted with a big smile as always. Will continue bringing my business here and recommending to friends and family. Not to mention, their prices in this economy are extremely fair!

I went there recently, the place had a lot of flies around but considering it’s summer it’s somewhat understand. The meat didn’t have any flavoring, I got the fajitas. Rice and all the veggies were good but did not make up for the lack of flavor from the meat. We had great service just not great food.

Always exceptional, fast service. Food is amazing, haven’t had one bad meal yet and go at least once month. Last night, the margarita, enchiladas rancheros, and chips and salsa all outstanding. Service as always was fast and atmosphere was awesome.

Great food even at 10pm!! Fresh hot oh so good. Margaritas are the bomb. Excellent service very clean. My new favorite spot.

I love this place. The manager runs a very clean and well preforming restaurant. The servers are pleasant and professional. The drinks are great, and I've always been satisfied with my orders. I very much enjoy visiting this place as it has become a good date night spot for myself and my beautiful wife.

Waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was " Okay ".. Still in search of a "WOW" Authentic Mexican Restaurant in Fayetteville. I'd go again.

Amazing! Service was amazing, food arrived quickly, drinks stayed filled. The cheese dip with fresh chips was just so perfect. And their guava is amazing! The servings are huge! I’m ready to go back just thinking about it.

Terrible! We ordered beef and chicken taquitos which sounded tasty from the menu. Looked good on the plate but tasted like dry, freezer burnt cardboard that they dropped in oil. It was so nasty and left such a bad taste in our mouth that we couldn't eat anything else off their menu for fear we'd get sick. Still paid for our drinks and tipped but we'll never visit here again. So disappointing!

I actually got sick from this food. Had not eaten up to that point and within an hour I had food poisoning. To speak on the food, the chips and queso were fine. Same as everywhere else. The only reason I gave two stars is the waiter was very good. The Carnitas were dry. Definitely had better elsewhere. Everything else was decent. I was no impressed at all, especially once I became sick. I will not be eating here again.

Upon arrival we(party of 6) were seated quickly. But between ordering and receiving our food it took 45 minutes. While waiting for our food I noticed people that came in after us received there food before us. When we finally got our food it wasn't good and it was cold. We want be going back.
