My Mom and I had a great experience getting a Covid test for traveling! The office was very clean and up to date. Amber the nurse and Seth the PA were very efficient, caring and kind. We were tested and out the door with results in under 30 minutes! My daughter had a great experience as well, Samantha is the absolute best; caring, conscientious and professional. We will definitely come back here!

I ended up at AFC Urgent Care on an early Saturday afternoon, injured my ring finger during flag football practice. Dr. Juan and his staff were amazing from check-in to check-out. Thank you all so much for the excellent customer service and bubbly personalities! Your health is important, go where they care on purpose!

Wait time for a walk-in was reasonable for an urgent care facility. Everyone was friendly and professional. My provider, Juan Powe, was thorough, friendly and professional, despite it being closing time by the time I got out of there. :). I’m editing this review to add that I also appreciated him explaining why he chose the course of treatment that he did. It was very informative and made me comfortable that he was doing what was best for me. I would definitely return to this urgent care as well as recommend to friends.

I had a very positive experience at AFC Urgent Care at their midtown location. I saw Juan Powe with some concerns and issues I had whilst traveling out of town. Him and his whole team were knowledgeable and professional. I believe the other women who assisted me were Amber and Haley. There were both incredible to work with. Everything from getting an appointment, to checking in, to having my blood drawn, and even to receiving an injection went incredibly smoothly. I cannot recommend this facility and team enough.

My experience was amazing. This was my first time visiting AFCU. I scheduled my appointment online which was so user friendly. I walked in and checked in at the kiosk and was called right away. It wasn’t busy at all and the people were super friendly and very informative about everything. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great urgent care facility. The staff is awesome!! Oh and the building is clean and modern. It wasn’t hard to find being they have signs on both sides of the street letting you know the location. I felt really comfortable at this facility and plan on using them again.

AFC was very polite and attentive to my needs. I was very nervous but the medical assistant was very understanding and patient with me. Due to my nature of visit I did have to get blood drawn. I always have a tough time when it comes to my “ small veins”. They where very adamant about not sticking me over and over while trying to draw blood. You know some staff wouldn’t care even the Manager was very gentle while trying to receive blood. They saved the best for last he came right in and saw the vein in my hand and got what was needed‼️I never knew this office was located here. Due to my event I was literally 12 mins away and I’m so glad I was. From now on no matter where I am I will be going to AFC. Very great staff! I would refer this office to ANYONE ‼️A+

I had such an amazing experience here! The wait time was quick. I was in and out in no time. The doctor was really nice and had a good sense of humor. The clinical staff was helpful and kind. I can't say enough about how I was treated here!! I was treated like a human being, not a germ with no feelings or a dollar. Their warmth and compassion is what the medical field is lacking!! The entire staff, from the young man at front desk , the nurses to the PA!! EXCEPTIONAL!! I left feeling better than I walked in and well cared for with Compassion! I would HIGHLY recommend this Urgent Care in Midtown. I live in North Raleigh and it was well worth the drive and their hours are awesome!!

I went to AFC Urgent Care on a Saturday afternoon and was seen in 12 minutes after my appointment time. The staff was friendly and professional. The Nurse Practitioner who saw me, Juan Powe, was knowledgeable and thorough. He checked possible treatments for interaction with my current medications, consulted 2-3 times with the MD there, and presented me with two treatment options with the pros and cons of each. He had an X-ray made and, after studying it with the MD, recommended an MRI. He followed up with me twice the next day to be sure I got the results quickly. I’ll go back to this urgent care next time too.

I went to AFC Urgent Care Raleigh Midtown last week. I walked in without an appointment. The office was very clean and pleasantly decorated. I was greeted by a friendly and professional receptionist. She instructed me to check in online via my cell phone. I answered medical questions and signed the necessary paperwork online. Once I had completed the check in process, I was taken into an examination room after having to wait only approximately 5 minutes. I was seen by the Nurse Practitioner, Juan. He was thorough and took time to answer all of my questions. I was very happy with the treatment plan that he prescribed for me. I will definitely use AFC again!

Hands down the best experience. Highly recommend this business to all my family and friends. Went in due to not feeling well for several days. I went in as a walk-in because my doctor did not have an opening for a sick visit. From the greeting of front staff, to the amazing service of the nurse/doctor, to the attentiveness, if I could give 10/10 I would! They truly care! I especially want to recommend Juan Powe, he not only took all my concerns with care but went over and beyond by being very detailed on next steps. Thank you!

My husband and I both received excellent care from AFC! We didn’t have to wait long, if at all, even when the waiting room was full. The PA that took care of us, Seth, was very thorough, listened to our issues, and explained everything to us. We actually received better care here than with our primary doctor. Highly recommend!!

I was worried about going to an unknown urgent care on a Saturday during flu season, but the place was immaculate. Check-in online and upon arrival was quick and simple. Nurse Brianna was very nice and made me feel at ease. Dr. Seth (forgot his last name) was responsive to my comments and requests, and he explained everything in detail. The receptionist was cheery as she checked me out. Better news is that I am already feeling better.

This is a convenient location. Not busy. However, I will NOT choose to go to an AFC Urgent Care again. My insurance provider has an urgent care co-pay of $35. After checking in, I was asked by the receptionist to pay $140 to cover my insurance deductible. I told her that my Ins. coverage was $35 for in-network urgent care… the deductible did not apply to them. I spent 15 minutes on hold with my insurance provider so that they could give me a reference number- agreeing the payment at time of service should be $35. Three weeks later - I received an email from AFC Urgent Care telling me that AFC Urgent Care would be charging my credit card for an additional $20. I again called and spoke with the billing manager at AFC Urgent Care who said I should call the insurance company. I did this to find out the wrong billing code was submitted for payment. The insurance company associate spent a day trying to reach AFC Urgent Care to tell them to not charge my cc- AFC Urgent Care did not answer the phone so there was no resolution between the two companies. I sent AFC Urgent Care an email to the email published online- which was a non-working email address and it bounced back to me. I have spent way too much of my time trying to connect and correct their issues. This morning I got notification from my credit card company that they changed my cc for the extra $20. I cannot say if the folks at AFC Urgent Care are less-competent than they should be or if the business model is to charge people more to use the float of the overcharge until the insurance company audits the file… or simply overcharge their clients in hopes that they don’t know their coverage or can’t take the time to correct these errors. In any case, I don’t have this much time or patience to deal with it. If someone were to review the medical file as well- there could be questions about my care experience as well… I am being kind in this review and hope my experience was an anomaly.

The appointment process was easy and the clinic was able to get me in right away. The medical support team was genuinely caring and the medical staff listened to my issue and helped me find satisfactory solution to my medical problem. Even the insurance verification was handed during the online check in process so that I had peace of mind before I arrived for the scheduled appointment. I highly recommend this Urgent Care to anyone who needs care.

Wonderful experience from the person who answered the phone, to the same gentleman who checked us in: and confirmed our insurance would cover; to the person who brought us back, to the woman who wheeled her in after offering a wheelchair. To the PA who was very caring, thorough and knowledgeable. He was even aware of how to treat my mom on dialysis with meds without even having to look it up. I am a PA myself and was quite impressed with the care. They even chose antibiotics that didn't cost much. Highly recommended without hesitation. My moms new go to place when needs quick visit, super happy they are right around the corner. The wait was very short as well.

I have had to have multiple and frequent Covid tests for travel. Additionally, I’ve scheduled numerous tests for large groups. 100% of the time, Brenda and her team have been helpful, accommodating and thorough. Excellent service and great follow up! Highly recommend them for any service.

Wonderful experience. Fast and professional. Nurse Lisa and the PA on-site (Angela) were amazing. Very attentive and thorough in determining the best course of action. Not sure how prices compare but were upfront about pricing before starting visit.

I cannot say it enough of how great this office operates: from check in to check out. I had to take my father in to be seen and was greeted with a smile first thing. Kaitlyn, the XRT/medical assistant, was so kind to my father. She made him feel more at ease just being there. Afterwards, Seth, the PA, saw dad and greeted him like an old friend. My father is older and sometimes, in healthcare, this population can be treated differently due to age. Seth engaged with my father, rather than looking to me, and treated him with such dignity, respect, and care, which meant so much to me and him too! He explained everything thoroughly and really spent time with us to make sure all was understood. To say I am beyond impressed is an understatement. In a culture where healthcare seems to be viewed as more monetary driven machine, I cannot say this about AFC Midtown. The patient is always first and cared for. Thank you Seth and all for the care you provided. It meant so much seeing this today. Five stars for all!

The staff was very nice and friendly. They were pretty fast and gave me all the information I needed, felt comfortable with all the guidance. Definitely a good place to go whenever looking for a medical assistance.

The staff at AFC Urgent Care were professional, prompt, and helpful. The facility was clean, bright, and conveniently located. I was seen very quickly with two big cuts in my fingers. They made me laugh and helped me continue to take deep breaths when I was in pain. From the front desk to the NP and everyone in between, including the person in training and a PA student, everyone was wonderful. I am very grateful for this team and will definitely be back if I need urgent care again in the future.

This is the best urgent care that I have been to since I moved down from WI. I moved about 30 minutes away and still go here when I need urgent care. They are so kind and helpful, they are quick and caring. I will keep coming here no matter how far away I move. These people genuinely care!!

My eye had bugged me all day shopping with the family. After finally giving in and realizing I needed care I went to AFC Urgent Care. The wait was minimal and the care was amazing. If and when I need assistance and I’m in the area I will be going back. Thank you to everyone there for taking care of me today!!

I have never felt more cared for at an urgent care than when I visited here. From the moment I walked in the door the care and attention I received from Brenda and her team was unparalleled. Seth and Tosharra took great care of me and I was in and out of the clinic in less than an hour. I will absolutely be returning to see them as my primary care provider in the future. I cannot recommend enough!

AFC urgent care is hands down the best urgent care I’ve ever been to. I went following a fall and they showed so much care and concern for my well-being and health I felt like I was being cared for by family. From the moment I hobbled in I was greeted with a smile and kindness. I felt like a person and not just another number while receiving care. I was also educated on what I should do in the event I attempt to test the laws of gravity on my stairs again, since as a very stubborn person I didn’t do what I should have until the next day. These are your people if you need an urgent care, just come straight here.

Each time service was quick & efficient. Have been 2x already for testing. Lisa is AMAZING...she make you feel comfortable, at ease & like you are more than just another person to be seen. This is the only place I know where you can get a Covid test without "showing symptoms," and doesn't require an appointment. Illness doesn't come with an appointment & the staff here understands this so walk-ins are provided.

Pleasant Experience from beginning to end. I have been calling around to several places over the past few days. My call/experience with Samantha at the front desk was so helpful. She was understanding and was able to help solve my situation so I was able to be seen. Staff was all Amazing!!! Thank You for your service!!

I agree clinic is clean with nice waiting area and exam rooms. And the staff is nice. I was also treated well re a positive Covid test result. At that appointment I asked about a retest and was told no problem, schedule it Sunday or Monday. After arriving Monday morning i was told I did not need to retest, just isolate 5 days. And doubtful insurance cover a retest so soon. The staff at the clinic has been Covid testing for well over a year and I was surprised that they are inconsistent with their instructions and protocols. My review is not intended to scare anyone away, but to help the clinic provide better service to patients.

PA Juan was fantastic. He was kind, patient, and compassionate. He was not overbearing with his medical suggestions and really gave me, the patient, the choice with how I wanted to move forward with treatment for my sinus infection. He gave me plenty of options and we came up with the best plan for me. The office in general was very clean and well maintained, and the staff was helpful. This was my second visit, and if I need an urgent care again, I would not hesitate to use AFC again!

I decided to come to AFC Midtown because of the reviews I saw, and they didn’t lie! I had a wonderful experience, all the staff are very personable and kind. All are there to help you and make sure you get the service you need. They also did a nice follow up call the next day which was very much appreciated! I highly recommend going to AFC for your urgent care needs.

Front desk staff do NOT wear a mask. They do not require patients to wear masks either. They also are not prompt in sending medication orders to the pharmacy. After a phone call to them they still did not send anything to the pharmacy. I now have to go to another urgent care that actually cares about their patients. This was the second time I had been there. The first time was great. They have really fallen down on their quality of care. DO NOT GO THERE IF CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH. EDIT: They sent my meds to the wrong pharmacy. I went to a dermatologist and got the prescriptions I needed. I needed an antibiotic as well as a cream. I still don't recommend this facility as they don't wear masks nor do they enforce wearing masks in their waiting room.

I came today with my teenage son who didn't feel well at all . Provider ( Seth) and nurses were very attentive , kind and really did everything to figure out what was wrong . Office manager also made us very comfortable and at ease. Very caring group of people. They have Lab and X-ray so you getting your results as you wait. Trust me ,when you have a sick child you don't want to go several places to get your test done .Very satisfied. Now we just need to get better.
