Dr. Monteith and his staff were absolutely amazing to us throughout our entire tubal reversal process. This is the one place where not only is he your Dr but he welcomes you as family. His hospitality and personality is unmatched. I’ll forever recommend him and his office to anyone looking to expand their family after having their tubes tied. They’re the best at what they do!!!

After two failed IVF cycles and being told we wouldn't be able to conceive due to low AMH by another facility we found A personal choice and Dr.Monteith. Y'ALL. I'm a small town girl from Tennessee, played basketball. My husband played college basketball in the town of Athens at TWU. My husband and I made our way to South Carolina in 2021. This was a HUGE step and prayerfully we made the decision to possibly expand our family. We prayed and I google searched. I would always come across Dr. Monteith's name listed as "World Renowned" and "Best Doctor in the World." My husband and I started praying for him. We started praying over the process altogether. We wanted to pay straight out, so we saved and we did. Our experience was unique. Everyone we spoke to was extremely considerate, compassionate, knowledgeable and took their time to make sure we understood all information. Dr. Monteith took his time and answered all questions. It wasn't just nurses and Dr. Monteith's compelling personalities, but it was the anesthesia staff, OR staff, pre-op nurse. Our stay was wonderful. We're home and surgery was SUCCESSFUL BY THE WAY! I had one tube that could have been potentially repairable-and so with God and Science-Dr. Monteith's hands it was. 6cm long. The right tube unrepairable due to an ectopic I had previously. I'm home now, recovering comfortably. My PCP says the incision sites look great. We're excited to try to have another baby!!!!!

Dr. Monteith and his staff are the best! They are very professional and at the same time friendly and kind. The facility and environment are relaxing and comfortable. We felt very well taken care of. I had my reversal surgery in September. The entire process was smooth and I healed very well. I took two home tests this morning and they were positive!!

A Personal Choice has the most awesome staff, Dr. Monteith knows what he's doing. He explained the process based on my medical records and assured me all would be well. I tend to get nervous with anesthesia and shared that with him, and he and staff made sure I was comfortable and all the way out before anything was started. The surgery process was so easy and smooth. I was pregnant just 2 months after my surgery had baby girl 11/27/2019 and just recently had my 2nd reversal babygirl 11/22/2021. Highly highly recommend Personal Choice to anyone that is even just thinking about a reversal. Please do your research, this place is awesome and has prepayment plans, if needed, which makes it so much easier to get surgery if you commit.

❤️Monteith Miracle Maker!!❤️ In June 2015, I knew I was making the worst decision of my life. Getting a tubal ligation after my 3rd son at the young age of 23 years old. I had a lot of bad thoughts about it, but felt pressured into doing it by family..almost as if I didn't do it, my family wouldn't help me. Needless to say, I felt like my ability to be a woman was stripped from me thereafter! Initially, I was a woman who never knew my cycle was coming without a period tracker on my phone. After my ligation, I had cramps that felt like labor pains. I also didn't care for sexual activity..after all, I didn't work like a normal woman anymore anyway! I became depressed, sad, all around upset by the decision I had made. I saw my OB, who advised me I was experiencing PTLS. She gave me 2 options. Reversal or hysterectomy. My experience with the staff was wonderful. The atmosphere was very relaxing. They made my husband and I feel comfortable as possible. I must say when my husband and I first arrived we were nervous but excited at the same time. The nurses and Dr. Monteith explained every step of the process. This is the best place Ever! I had my reversal last week on 6/15. Dr. Monteith and his staff are wonderful. They made us feel so comfortable! I researched this place for a long time and I'm so glad that we decided to trust this doctor. The night of surgery I felt good enough to go walk around outside the hotel. If you're serious about having your tubal ligation reversed, this is the best place ever. The only thing that I'm sad about is not being able to put my pink pin on the map. I'm really sad about that because I was looking forward to doing that. I guess I was supposed to ask or something because no one mentioned it but I still love this place.

What a delightful experience! Esthetics of the office was simple and warming. Staff was prompt, courteous and inviting. Tubal reversal date was August 21st 2023 and I got my first positive test my first cycle post op!! I’m happy to say IM PREGNANT!!!! Dr Monteith performed my surgery in February of 2022; and although he was only able to repair one tube, you can tell this surgery was so worth it to my husband and I. From the first phone calls to setup your appointment to the post op visit before you leave for home, you are instantly out at ease by the entire staff. They are more than knowledgeable about what you will go through but even more detailed about the process for the person traveling with you. They are very thorough with your care and understanding all the things to come that you’ll encounter. My consultation with Dr. Monteith was even better, he has a very warm and comforting personality and instantly put my fears and anxiety at ease. He’s very honest and upfront about the process and anything that may or may not occur afterwards. Patients really do come first with Dr. Monteith and his entire staff and it really shows. My nurse was a wonderful woman named Penny who stayed with me through the process on my big day.
