If you want a nice room, it's a good choice if you're on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor. If you want a friendly welcome and a quiet stay on the 1st floor, turn around and go to another hotel. I'm traveling with my family, and I saw some good reviews here, but I heard a lot of things from other people. I had to ask her name, but Amber was a sweetheart. I thought she was a manager or assistant, but shes only been here a few months. I got hungry for some chocolate and went downstairs to get a snack, but never made it. Amber looked like she was having a rough day and she was apologizing to this other lady about something. I won't say the vulgar things that were said to Amber, but I certainly would never allow anyone to talk to me or one of my kids like that. They must have not known I was there and Amber was keeping a professional and quiet voice, but this other woman was getting loud, cussing, and quite threatening. I told my son and daughter-in-law what happened and if we weren't checking out soon, we'd go somewhere else. One thing's for sure, we won't be back. Especially if that night shift lady at the desk for tonight(02/14/2025 - 02/15/2025) is here.

We had to stay from Dec 27—March 21st because or pipes busted on Christmas Day and this is where the insurance sent us. The staff is so nice. The breakfast lady Kathy ( she doesn’t work there anymore ) was amazing, so nice and went around checking on people eating. The front desk people are so great Stephenie & Leslie and all are very very nice and helpful. Everybody loved our pup Angel. The manager is really on top of things and the maintenance man is so very nice. House keeping staff well….. we had a few that was hateful and lazy, our favorite one was the managers daughter she was really nice and cleaned the room very good every time. The hotel is very nice. They made our stay feel like home. We really felt safe there. Thank you Townplace oh and I noticed on here there was a low rating because their room was in the back next to the freeway, ours was as well and it never bothered us at all.

We stopped here on our way home from Virginia. Rerouted our drive because of storms. This was a spacious, clean and comfortable stay. We will stay here again on one of our road trips!
