I have been ordering here for a very long time. Fishtails is my go to for good fish and chips. The owners and staff are very friendly. The food is always on point. I asked over the phone if I can have the dimsims swapped for something else (due to dietary requirements) and the guy said he can swap it for something else which was great. I went to pickup the order and confirmed they changed the dimsims and the worker started yelling at me saying I should’ve mentioned it earlier. He then took them out and didn’t replace them with anything saying it’s my fault. When I opened the pack, chips were extremely soggy and undercooked. They were also super dark in colour. How often is the oil changed? After tonight’s experience, I would not recommend this place at all.

This fish and chips shop used to be a great place to buy tasty, crispy, freshly cooked/fried fish, chips potato cakes etc. It has been a while between visits. Now our potato cakes were a very dark brown and had an unfamiliar/unknown taste, chips were the same and not crisp at all. Dim Sim not too bad but the spring roll was definitely off, very dark brown in colour, soggy, full of oil, not edible. What oil is being used to fry the food? How often is the oil being changed? Don’t know, but todays order of food was disappointing to say the least.

I have never had anything missing from my order, and they are really nice and well priced. We have been lucky enough to get a free 1.25l drink everytime we have gone, I'm guessing due to ordering over $50 worth of food. The chips actually taste like chips, not like other places.

Great fish and chips.. we always get calamari rings, flake and chips. Always fresh and great service. Very quick with orders/pickup times too.

Great Fish and Chips, definetly best in the area, always consistent, my place of choice, real calamari rings not manufactured ones. Everything I've tried on the menu is spot on. 👌

Got flake and potato cakes Fish tasted an smelled of amonia after 1 bite Couldn't eat it Obviously just buying cheap frozen fish not getting it fresh Pretty disappointed

Seriously $12 for large chips. What is wrong with this world
