A local gem. The coffees tasted so good. The food was rich and good too. The staff are what makes this place great. Extremely friendly and kind. They were patient with the dogs outside. Got them food and water. They are attentive even when it gets busy. Generous portions and it is delicious. Lots of room indoors.

The one great thing about his cafe is they always tried to be better each time of change. Been in this cafe since 2020 and their coffee and food menu always been great but the owner put alot of effort to make it even better. They recently changed their menu to alot more gourmet style. The price gone up a little but its worth it. Apart from the cafe is little noisy when it gets busy I comfortably give this place A+++

One of the best places to eat breakfast or lunch in Werribee. The staff are very attentive and greet you once they see you. They are so eager to serve you. The food is great. The Tomato Jam is very special. The coffee is nice too.

Good cafe with a very good Parmi. Parmi was well proportionate and comes with thin cut chips with a side of gravy. Garlic Butter was added on top which I think wasn't really necessary but it wasn't bad either.

Service was fast and very friendly. I only found this place online without even looking at the reviews and now that I've been here the food was delicious and portion sizes are huge the iced chocolate was bomb! Overall I would come back here again Just letting everyone know that there is a 10% surcharge when paying with card.

Lovely place for brunch. Fast, friendly service. I had delicious smoked beans along with two perfectly poached eggs, spicy chorizo and fluffy corn bread. All that was missing was Tabasco sauce.

Wow!!! What an experience! Just arrived from Sydney and never had a better time. Highest quality service from entry (from owner), despite being so busy, quality food, reasonable pricing and extra friendly staff! We will be returning before heading back to Sydney for sure!

It was a rainy Sunday morning, this cafe was still packed. The staff were fantastic, service was efficient, 3 of us were sitted and order taken quickly. The drinks and food arrived promptly while I was reading the Sunday papers. All our dishes tasted good with quality ingredients and had generous servings. We were all impressed with the coffee. Reasonable prices too.

Very rich and flavours are great!! The lamb eggs bene was amazing. The burger I had was ok. The corn fritters were good also. I enjoyed the french toast. My daughter loved the poutine. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Only issue was being seated at a table was still dirty. Another good note they had great shakes. Banana and Lime flavours were available.

Had a really nice breakfast here, ordered the Big Meaty with a side of Haloumi and avocado. I did not expect so much Haloumi would be included, it was sensational. The photo does not really give justice to the amount of food that was with this meal, it was all hidden, the sausage was sliced and hidden under the hash browns and eggs, along with more bacon. Make sure you are hungry if you are ordering this breakfast! Coffee was good and a great temperature, also had a mango smoothie which was really nice. Mate ordered the Brekky Burger which he said was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and the food and drinks came out very quickly despite the cafe being completely full. I would come back here again.

Chatterbox is located ideally in Werribee. Has a very nice vibe to it. The staff is very friendly, service is quick and excellent hospitality. The coffee was not too bad. We also ordered cheesy loaded fries which was really yumm and the toasties were good as well. We tried fried chicken and vegetarian ones. But the french toast which we were very excited about was disappointing. It was very kiddish to look at. Also, the taste was not that good. They need to work on that one. Rest it was an overall good experience.

Vegetarian friendly breakfast menu! I had their omelette with broccolini and cabbage which was yummy, it was made of four eggs which is a bit much but I think if you just had a gym sesh that would be perfect. Coffee was great. They offer high chair and we ordered toast for our little one which is more than enough. Fast service and reasonable price.

Fantastic food and great vibe and menu, service was generally good and love what's on the menu. Coffee has been great and we've tried a number of dishes including the hash, BLATE and loaded croissants with salmon.

Lovely little cafe that was really busy but the service was great anyway and we got our coffees and breakfast quickly. Big brekkie didn’t look huge but I couldn’t finish it all anyway so it was more then enough! Sometimes big brekkies are so big that you feel like you waste half. This was just about perfect

Amazing food and great staff and atmosphere. Poached egg wasn’t running, but that’s being picky. Coffee was good and not too hot to drink. GF toast was ok. A must have is the Smavo. The spices and fresh cherry tomatoes was a fantastic balance. Feta was smooth and flavorful. Will be back.

Thought we’d try this place out as it had very good reviews. Upon entering the cafe it was so packed which was a good sign. It’s a great setup! But unfortunately for me, the customer service just didn’t cut it. Our waiter didn’t even smile at all. She just took our order and walked off. Food portions were great but tasted average. It’s overall a nice place.

If you need to poo soon after coffee, maybe don't come here. For a relatively large cafe it has one toilet between customers and staff. Came here following seeing overwhelming reviews on Google. Unfortunately cannot agree. Arrived and spoke to the waitress about outdoor seating as i had my pooch with me. Her response was "it's full". Not in a rude way, just not in a helpful way. Eventually another waitress saw me waiting and was able to provide a bit more guidance on waiting time and soon pulled apart a table for me. Egg plant burger: tough egg plant and a bit rubbery. Had to use knife and fork. Burrito bowl: enjoyed this very much.

Lovely cute cafe. Lots to choose from and reasonable price. Staffs were friendly. Lots of seats available at the front and back although the entrance looks small. Food were delicious. 4 stars because the coffee was a bit bland :( But overall, great experience here :)

I don’t know what happened but their food and service both gone bad, I am so sorry to provide this negative feedback as I understand it’s hard to run small business but hoping you would reflect and improve making me change my review Service : staff friendly but though I order take away and was clearly standing with my takeaway coffee she brought in a plate then made a face and then she packed it up without cutlery. Food : ordered green salad chicken , it was more like broccoli and one or two mini slice of chicken. Please don’t order this item , also my partner has thrown up almost half of it Coffee: coffee was good and hence I am giving 2 stars as it saved you one star rating

The staff are lovely and accommodating. The prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair access due to step on front door, unless you are happy to dine outside and there is only one small toilet. A very popular place for lunch.

Continuing our Parkrun tourism journey, we ha e brunch atthe the Chatter Box Cafe in Werribee today. The place was busy, and a table was found. The wait staff were friendly and quick to take our orders. I had the Chilli Eggs, which were fantastic. The coffee was also very good. It was the first placei found that had sharp serrated knives for cutting through toasted sourdough bread 🙏. It's the little things.

When i went into the resto, it seemed very full, cause there are people lining up inside for take away. But the waitress are very helpful, she find me a seat with a cheerful attitude. I ordered soy latte with chicken parmigiana. And its really tasty... Love the ambience... Will be back for sure...

Great service . Awesome atmosphere . Was having high hopes as I previously visited 4 years ago, and was really great. Usually we have second coffee when we go out for breakfast after the meal, It wasn’t special enough to order twice. Milk was too hot, we had to wait for it to cool down so we can drink. Food wise, sausage was ordered as extra and was clearly cooked twice. Shame, cause it could have been a very tasty sausage. Eggs were perfect, sourdough was not great feel like a .50 cents. So thin and not as good as other sourdoughs. This may seem a bit negative but I know that previously they’ve been very good, hopefully it was just an off day.

Came in for breakfast today, and we had a very good experience. Service was fast and staff were very attentive. Coffee was amazing, food was amazing, especially the home made hashbrowns! I was very impressed with the unique menu, I will definitely be coming back to try everything else!

Went to have brunch after visiting the werribee zoo. Can eat inside or alfresco. If you go a bit late, there maybe menu items not available, for example noodle, pasta, hash and jambalaya (ran out of prawns). Chose the coffee infused waffles, looked nice, the caramel was quite sweet so would suit those very sweet tooth! Kids meals are decent. Steak sandwich (does not come with fries) - so we pinched some from the kids! Public holiday has 20% surcharge

A great brunch place with both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambience is good with very coordial and friendly staff. Their fresh juice and iced mocha are delightful and the food is delicious.

Chatterbox has become our regular, we enjoy sitting outside watching the world pass by and the regular Werribeeites chatting away. The food and service virtually never disappoints. Keep up the great work 👍

Excellent cafe, with a good variety of breakfast and other food items. Located in the centre of werribee, makes it a very convenient location. A wonderful place for casual eating. Amazing staff, excellent service and priced well. Very clean place, staff makes sure that tables are clean and presentable. Although there is a lot of parking, but the peak times of werribee can make it sometimes difficult to find parking near the restaurant.

GREAT FOOD! I could give them 6 stars if extra star is available! Had steak & egg and also ham& egg with ciabatta. Steak was well cooked, juicy and was good combination with other ingredients; cheese, basil herb and sauce! It was so great. It was quickly served, cooked professional with even reasonable price. This brunch cafe, I could say, one of my best cafe so far in Australia in terms of food taste

Popped in For a quick lunch, very nice decor and we were seated quickly. Ordered the brisket burger and the Greek fries, both came out very quickly and were very tasty. Coffees were nice and staff friendly. We were in a bit late for lunch and understandably they needed to start packing up just before we left however either a heads up they were starting cleaning or just waiting 5 Min longer would have been better than stacking chairs on the tables around us, just made us feel like we were being rushed out, the sign did say they were open for another hour though. (unless I read that wrong) . All in all a great little Cafe though and we will pop back in for food again.... A bit earlier though :)

visited this cafe on a lovely Sunday morning with my 2 kids. First of all,place is always busy which is good because the cofee and food there is amazing and people are chatting and enjoying their mornings. Secondly portion is HUGE! price is cheaper compared with other cafes. We had to takeaway the chips cuz we can't finish the food. Thirdly the chips taste good and baked egg is so amazing!!

Love the vibrant atmosphere and the food here! This is probably the busiest cafe on Watton's. If you prefer a quieter section for conversations on weekends, I'd recommend that you request a seat at the back area.
