I discovered this Lebanese Bakery in Watton St, Werribee around 3-4 months ago and have been a regular ever since. The food is fresh, hot and oh so tasty. I ordered a halloumi cheese + spinach triangle (usually its danish fetta, but since I love the squeaky saltiness of halloumi so much, I swapped) So, the rest of my order...4 meat pizza's with lemon & chilli, 2 cheese kaaks and a regular spinach + cheese triangle was thrown in (because I think the baker forgot I asked for the halloumi/fetta replacement until after he made the original recipe one, ha! 😁) Super fresh since they make it on the spot for you. A1 Bakery has 2 other Melbourne stores in Brunswick and Dandenong.

Ordered meat pizza as shown in picture. A good economical place to have quick snacks. Customer service is very good and the lady at reception was very polite. She was very patient while I took my time to understand the menu . Washrooms very clean too

Nice spot to eat. The Turkish omelette is very nice. And the cheese pide makes a really good snack. They make such lovely dough here, nice and smooth. A good assortment of sweets and the baklava is nice and crispy. Owners are also very nice people. Well priced menu too! Worth trying out :)

Cheap in price but generous in portion. Food is good, even seating is not bad. You can order take away as well. Won't regret for sure!

I love this place as a quick snack spot. I usually buy spinach triangle and cheese amd spinach which are so tasty and inexpensive. They are always freshly baked and served. Staff are polite and friendly. Highly recommend to try this bakery.

The food is 5🌟 without a doubt - excellent value for money and absolutely delicious; we had the meat pizza and haloumi calzone. If it was just for the food, the review would be 5 star. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 but there are a few things that could be fixed to improve the overall experience.. Eg. There is no visable sign for the toilet, and when you go in you'll find two wheelie bins - on Monday they were overflowing and stinky. There is no paper towel or fan to dry your hands. And the door to out the back was open, sending a chilling breeze across your table when you sit down inside. People flowed in though - this is understandably a popular place!

+40mins wait for basic Cheese Pies, understand its family run business but if you want customers to be back wait time needs to come down, tried ordering ahead didnt answer the phone. Sorry cant see myself coming back.

Friendliest staff! Terrific service! So good to have an A1 Bakery in the West. Ample seating and also has a seating area outside which is located at the back of the store. The cheese pie, zaatar and sujuk pizza were cooked to perfection πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

Awsome zaater, meat and cheese pies! They serve it oven fresh and the taste is great. Reminds me of middle east every time I visit. The place has a cosy sitting in the front and open sitting at the back. The owners are very friendly...highly recommended.

Recently, my once-favorite Lebanese bakery, formerly known as A1, has disappointed me. Despite my loyalty, prices have skyrocketed without clear justification, and inconsistency reigns regarding pricing information throughout the establishment. Additionally, a surcharge for takeout orders, allegedly for credit card transactions, feels like a cash grab. Sadly, the decline doesn't stop there; customer service has plummeted. Yesterday's order of zaatars was a final straw – all were burnt and inedible, a far cry from their former quality. Attached is a photo displaying the unacceptable state of the purchase. How did this establishment, once celebrated as the best Lebanese spot in the area, deteriorate to this extent?

Good food and service. Way better than other middle eastern cafes in the area. Good quantity for price.

We ordered 22 dozens of catering size pastry, mixed of meat, cheese, pizza, spinach and zaatar for a family event, quality was excellent all invitees liked them very much, thank you Terry for taking care of my order for that special event.

Food delicious but they kept forgetting my orders. I had to remind the gentleman 5 times to finally have my food served completely after 40 minutes. All I had was a bottle of yoghurt, water, hot dog and Lebanese spinach and cheese bread.. Service very poor. Only give two stars because they weren’t completely rude.

Economical and delicious breakfast options. Everything we tried was made fresh and my family loved it.

Been here before when it was great. Now the service is so bad, I'd encourage everyone to wait 1 hour for your food. There's just no way they can handle a lot of orders without making anybody wait for an hour. Please do not order online as they don't do well.

Love it. We are regulars for this one. We usually have it for breakfast and have used their catering services too. Simple, fresh, well priced and yummy.

Worst order management ever seen. Ordered our take aways and waited for 20 mins as advised, after 40 mins still nothing. In the end we left with no food, that screwed our lunch and afternoon plans. Very unsatisfied

Real and authentic food as they say. A place worth visiting and meeting the lovely staff.

Normally like A1 Bakery but had a terrible experience today. Took over 30 minutes for my food and once I got it the bread had no flavour, no pickles, rotting salad, small amount of humus. The falafel and kofta were ok, kibbeh was good. I wouldn't say don't go here - I think they were just having an off day - but seriously, my experience today unfortunately left a bad lasting impression.
