The ice cream was just ok, nothing special. Be careful though, the pricing for the Paletas on the board is wrong. We were charged $26 for 10 vs the advertised 10 for $18. When we asked to match what the board had, we were told that the prices had changed a while ago and they just didn't get around to changing the board. After going back and forth we just asked for a refund. They refunded everything but the 4% for using a card. Not going back there again!

Small little family owned business and homemade ice cream. Super delicious and great variety of ice creams of different flavors like Almond Joy, Ferrero Rocher, Mazapan, Gansito & Others. Also a good variety of food options like Elotes & nachos, chilindrinas

They could work on the customer service,EVERY TIME I go they have an attitude. After the first two times I thought maybe they are tired or overwhelmed so I never say anything and just smile. I go here often because of the location and it’s good, but I won’t eat there because I can literally hear them talking about how annoyed they are with the customers.

I absolutely LOVE the mangonadas! Delicious! Its perfect for a little snack if the craving should arise. It's clean and sanitized regularly. Employees change their gloves when handling money and get a new pair when handling food.. that's something I haven't seen at other restaurants, stores..etc.

We had cream based ice cream (they also have water based), it tastes just like in Mexico, it is not overly sweeten like U.S. Ice cream. The señorita that served us was quite friendly, will be back for sure.

It's Monday Oct 11 2021. Their sign reads that it opens at noon. It's about 12:30 and they are close. They should at least update their hours of operation.

At first it was great and still is good but not as great. The newer staff doesn't know how to make certain things as well so it's a hit and miss. The tropinachos are definitely delicious though!!

Amazing. Have been here 3x already and it’s the best. I love Los Pinos in Mexico but this here “El Trópico” beats it by a lot. The mangonada is delicious and the candys they use is the Good Ones also the cream I’ve creme is my favorite more then 31 definitely. In top of that great customer service worth the drive from Horizon to Socorro.

Umm okay. The products taste good but theres a lady around her mid 40s or early 50s. I do not know if she is the owner or relative. She was very talkative with a couple and I was behind them waiting to pay. She was very loud talking about their personal matters like the rest wanted to know about them🙄. Make me to wait a lot. I was patience but was close to ask to be charged so they can keep going with their talk.😒 I mean if it was just them that would be fine. But having customers waiting, thats doesnt look good.

The papas locas are a huge disappointment, they make them with chamoy I think. Instead of spicy you get sour and sweet. Very nasty on my tasted buds when I was looking forward to the usual Valentina with lemon and soy sauce. The elote was dry and way too much cheese in it. Made it taste to creamy so the cheese over powered everything else. The only good thing is the ice cream.

The music was so loud! I heard myself having to yell my order. I asked for fresas con crema and granola, I got fresas con crema with pecans. I was not surprised she didn’t get it right since they were jamming and dancing to the loud music. The fresas con crema where more like 4 strawberries I had to dig for in a runny milk soup $8. My daughter ordered some Nachos that we’re so bland upon looking just a blob of cheese on a small bag of Doritos $8. I also ordered a mango shake $6-8 dollars total for everything $23. I’m not returning again. I’m happy to support Local but sometimes bad service and high prices drive people away. Some of these high school kids running local shops need adult supervision.

🤤🤤🤤 the best ice cream in town. More flavors than Baskin-Robbins. Dont know if it was a limited time flavor but Ferrero Rocher is the one I recommend.

I love how the good Attitude the lady had who give me a cono de Oreo it was very delicious she’s very friendly. I absolutely love this place. I love how friendly are your guy’s workers 🫶🏼

THE FOOD IS GOOD! But the girls that work there always have an attitude. customer service could improve, but by the looks of these reviews, they don’t care.

I am giving them a five star on their ice cream ,Popsicles and there’s no cones. They got so many flavors and they’re very tasty. I definitely going back for more 🤤

Ice cream and aguas frescas are authentic, have a lot of flavors!
