Great selection of food and treats for my pets. Everything was easy to find and staff were friendly. I just wish they had bigger containers to keep their beta fish in. They need more space.

Best attention on grooming. It’s always difficult to find a good groomer. Although the quality of hair cuts is not always on poin( my dos fault as she moves too much) they treat my pet great and kindly which is the priority.

Extremely helpful staff Pearl was very patient and recommended food and treats for our dogs. Showed me several items and explained the difference in them, she also offered very helpful advice in feeding dogs. Karla was also very friendly, she was working in the grooming section but came over to check me out, I was purchasing a sweater for one of my dogs which was not the right color but that is all that was out on the floor, she took the time To go to the back and look for a different color. GREAT staff will definitely come back to this store for all my pet needs

Robert was so helpful he literally walked us through all we need to make an educated purchase of our bearded dragon. He is thoughtful and well informed when it comes to reptiles. OMG! Best experience ever! Took one of our pets Jack for trimming and nice lavender bath 🦮🐕🐕‍🦺service there is very professional, warm and attentive! At first Jack was somewhat nervous, but when we picked him up, he was very very Happy and cute!!

We shop or let me correct myself used to shop at Petco (2036 N. Zaragoza Rd. 79938) quite often until TODAY! 8/20/23. We sometimes even go 2 to 3 times a month, but no more! Last week and the week before, I purchased a total of 8 small angel fish. Then I started noticing this past weekend that my original six, size medium to large size Angel fish started to die one right after the other. One Saturday, Sunday, etc... until they were all gone. Two of the new little ones died last. And yes, we do know how to take care of fish. We have a total of 4 aquariums and a pond in our backyard. Needles to say, I feel that those small angel fish had some kind of illness on them for why all of a sudden my Angel fish that I have had for months to even up to a year die!! So I went in today to exchange the two little dead ones and a Lady, (which I'm sure is the Manager) that works there and has helped us MANY TIMES in selecting our fish said "well our policy is I need a sample of the water separate to the two dead ones in the baggie." NEVER, LET ME TELL YOU NEVER had her or any of the employees told us of the water sample. This was the 1st time this had happened to me with fish from this store. She showed no compassion for me losing all my original Angel Fish. Yes, our aquariums have had water changes. The water was tested, and all checked out fine, but yet my original fish are all gone! I work also, and I feel we need to be a little more understanding with the public we serve. That Employee/ Manager has helped us several times. We are NOT customers that go in there and shop and exchange things all the time. Even some of the young adults that work there know that we are frequent & loyal customers to Petco. For now, I'll NEVER ever go into that practicular store again!!!! And to you out there, Petco customers, make sure the policies are told to you before you leave the store.

I liked the place. But it took a very long time to get someone to come upfront to check us out. I did get everything I needed, though.

We came with our dog to get his Science Diet and some cat things. They didn't have any Science Diet for our dog, and we found him a toy and our cats a toy too. When we went to pay, we asked Pablo about the dog food. He immediately went back to the shelves with his scanner and left us at the register. And! he came back with a bag. He said it was behind another bag and was the last one. He could have just said oh well sucks for you, but he went and checked and that's awesome! Good customer service.

This location always has a great selection, but perhaps more importantly the employees are always incredibly welcoming and helpful!

I bought a collar for my Chihuahua mix and it didn't fit her. Two weeks later I took her with me to exchange the collar and buy her a new one. I had no problem exchanging it. The store smelled clean and was fully stocked with a variety of items for all breeds. The clean restroom was a plus. My dog also enjoyed the tasty treats.

I was seriously disappointed ☹️ I was excited because I thought I got some can dog food on clearance and it was exactly what I was looking for and to my surprise when I got to the register the man told me that they weren't on clearance even though that's where I found them I told them that that wasn't right that there was a clearance sticker right under the dog food so I left with my treats for my dogs how to go to somewhere else to find my canned food

It's a good store just didn't like that I wanted to purchase a pet leave it paid and pick up after I was done with grocery store next door and manager declined to hold it even if I paid for it.

The experience at VETCO at this location was by far better than a previous visit at a different location. We were serviced quickly and were able to shop around. The service from Brianna in the VETCO area was 5 stars. She helped us by speaking to the vet and made sure our puppy received all he vaccinations.

I recently visited this place after about 7 years and for my first time in forever coming back I love it! The staff are friendly welcoming and helpful!

The manager was very nice & when they didn't have the big bag of food (on sale) he helped us out. Not a bad experience at all, we'll go back.

Asked worker for help in the aquatics, waited 15 minutes and no one came. Asked a male worker for help gave us an ugly look, didn’t even say anything, and proceeded to throw the item in his hand. Store is great, employees not so much.

I really SHOULD frequent this location more often. I feel as though their staff is more knowledgeable that other competitor (chain) pet stores. The reason for my visit was to set up a reptile terrarium. I had a few questions and the staff had all the answers and even helped me save money! It's good to know that their staff truly are pet people. The associate who helped me, was also a reptile owner, so had a lot of input, knowledge and experience. Unlike other big chain pet stores, their employees are easy to find and are very helpful... they even helped me carry a large aquarium to my vehicle. TIP: Download their App! They will price match their online prices.

I’am a cat owner of not one or two but THREE cats! Cat litter is not cheap and it definitely adds up with three cats. I was on a budget so I looked online for better prices whilst being at Wal-Mart and saw that Petco had better prices on cat litter so I decided to give em’ a shot and granted it was cheaper and more convenient with their refill option for a cheaper price! The price on the shelf was higher than online and I showed the cashier Brenda which was very friendly and she had no problem overriding the price to what I saw online! She was very friendly and helpful which is hard to find now days. I’am very satisfied and will become a Petco customer!! Thanks Petco!!!

I really like coming to this location its a lot cleaner and organized than others.. only a couple problems...The store isn't stocked with the items we go there for even though the website states its available for pickup. Second, we've had to wait a while and even look for an associate to check out.. this happened at least 3x.

My daughter takes her dog to the training classes with Amanda. It is really great to see how much she has grown throughout the process (both my dog and my daughter.) Keep up the great work everybody!

Love that I've been there and there's a guy that always goes with me to find the items I'm looking for he goes way beyond customer service I'm not sure if his a manager or what but his service makes me always to come back and get my pets needs thank you whoever you are and keep the service☺️

Very nice place to shop for your animals things. The staff was very helpful and they were very interested in helping us pick out our new guinea pig friend. The employee was kind enough to help us find the right food, cage, house, and checkout was a breeze. Not very packed, very hygenic! Especially during the pandemic. I would definitely recommend you visit this petco next time your looking for your pets supplies

Great place to shop with my little chihuahua. Also the only place I have found that sells little toys I don't have to worry so much about my dog playing with since he is ,so small

The store was clean, and had the basics of pet care but there is little to no variety in ANYTHING. The sections are very small and the selection of toys, treats, food, etc is limited. I would recommend you look online to make sure the store has what you're looking for, or go to Pet Smart/use Amazon. I was underwhelmed by this Petco. Employees were friendly though.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. My daughter wanted a pet fish and they had everything we needed to get started. They have so much to offer for all types of animals that I ended up grabbing some things for my dogs too
