👍👍 Great place to visit. Calm river, playground, toilets, 2wd access, overnight camping, plenty of places to sit and have a picnic and very low on city noise. People often mention camping, picnic, toilets, water, kids, family, Great, nice, river,

Nice place for camping. Its near from Sydney and central coast almost within an hours distance. Quite safe for camping and large camp ground with clean toilets with electricity. Hawksburry River water flows beside the camping side and you can enjoy, relax. Water level is generally quite low so that kids can also enjoy. The gates gets closed evening 7.30 so make sure you have everything and there is no option to go back before morning.Overall nice place for those who lack experience in camping and those want to try.

Nice quiet place with extending green lawns to have a nice family Sunday day out or an outdoor BBQ. Few huts are available but BBQ grills are not avaialable. Can easily find a shade under a tree for a picnic mat. Toilets avaiable on both sides of the park. Plenty of parking are there. River was bit muddy on the day we visited. But kids can enjoy some water play. Recommend a life jacket for toddlers and small kids as water is quite deep near to the shore. Small sand beach is available.

Top spot for a picnic , fishing or water sports plus plenty of great walking tracks . It’s pretty quiet on the water until you get near Berowra . Not too far from the suburbs and very well placed .

Beautiful camping spot nestled on the bank of Berowra Creek! Thank you for the clean and well maintained toilets! Really appreciated the water fountain, the water taps scattered throughout the camp and the roof covered picnic tables! Thank you!

Large, accessible camping and BBQ area, relatively clear signage, and well maintained toilets. Great access to clean water off you’re camping or hiking through. Also some fun play areas for the kids, easy access to the river for a swim, and some fun wildlife around the area

There are public toilets here. At low tide, it’s easy to enter and exit the river at many points and is very family friendly. Very limited parking at peak times though.

Great campsite close to Sydney. Need to book in advance. Unfortunately when we were there last, a large group were loud all the time even late evening.

Nice place for a picnic with friends and family. A lot of shelters and conveniently located public toilets. There is a place to hire and rent canoes + kayaks and also a lot of nice tracks around.

Great spot by the river for camping or having a nice family day out. Plenty of space to kick a ball, swing a bat or fly a drone. Good for kids riding bikes too. Playground, free BBQ facilities and toilets. I imagine it would be quite popular down here during summer. You can hire kayaks from the centre across the river, just call the number on the sign and they’ll bring them across. There’s no power and you can’t take your car to the camp or picnic site though, so be prepared and bring a trolley or wagon if you have lots of equipment.

Great little place to launch a kayak or SUP. Nice calm and pretty paddling. Good bush walking and camping. Good facilities. Worth a visit.

Accessibility: sealed road by car (although the road is very narrow and enough caution should used when driving as it is a two way curvy road with a cliff on one side). At one point, the road will be super narrow that only one car can fit. Good area for bushwalking and picnic. Toilets and playground are available. The lookout is wheelchair/pram accessible and has a nice view. It’s also a great idea to wander off further as the view gets better.

Really nice grassy area to run around. Nice little swimming area as well. Very small playground only a couple swings and a flying fox but the kids still loved it. The grass is covered in bindis so don’t take your shoes off
