Lovely homemade cakes, and excellent coffee. A gorgeous place to stop for a brew when you’re exploring the pretty village of Painswick, with locally made things such as ceramics and paintings.

After trekking from Birdlip for 12km, we stopped at Handmade for a lunch. We had the paninis, that were super tasty. Drink options were good, and the art displays at the site were amazing. My wife got to beautiful ceramic cups. Besides it all, they were super helpful and attentive when we said that we needed a taxi. Great place!!!

Lovely friendly staff but cappuccino was not made very well. Edit in response to owner on 26/04/23: Hi Sandie, the order was an oat milk cappuccino as confirmed by the staff when they delivered the coffee to the table (have never ordered a latte before!). Even so, the consistency of a latte or a cappuccino shouldn’t be like a bubble bath! But thanks for the offer.

Had a lovely lunch in the cafe, really tasty quiche and salad and cappuccino, will definitely visit there again, dog friendly too.

Lovely local cafe, gorgeous cakes & coffee - also makes enormous contribution to the local community - we need more of these!

Friendly, helpful and best pot of tea in the Cotswolds.Even the local clientele offering advice and directions for walks. Lovely stopover.

Nice art and cafe

Have passed the sign at the traffic lights many times, called in Saturday on my way to Stroud. Lovely coffee shop with a range of work by local artists. Pleased to say the coffee is also great
