Tasty food and chilled atmosphere with a long riverside walk nearby to go on before or after. Not bad prices for what you get and most importantly they're dog friendly! Parking is free and has a decent amount of spaces.

It is a shame to give the Onslow Arms 3 stars because the atmosphere and the service of the place are definitely 5 starts On a sunny days, sitting outside by the river will be lovely. The food was what disappointed slightly. I wouldn't say the food was bad. I had pork roast which had a nice smokey flavour to it. It was huge! The chicken wings starter was nice However, The roast potatos need improvement. It was a dry and just a bit sad. The roast beef was tender but very tasteless. Considering the £19 beef and £17 pork price tag, there is room for a lot of improvement. The £7 price tag of deserts were also high. Considering I am used to London prices, I thought the food experience for the price was a bit disappointing But the service was great and i would definitely return for drinks

Great Sunday lunch with the family. The service was excellent and everyone was super friendly and professional. I had the lamb roast which was deliciously tender and full of flavour. Everyone else at the table also thoroughly enjoyed their roasts and burgers. Definitely great value for money and next time we're in the area we'll make another turn. A walk along the canal after was a great way to help the food settle and enjoy the scenery. Thank you all for making our trip worthwhile.

Been here a few times with my partner, and have tried the food as well as the drinks on offer now. The Onslow Arms really is a gem of a pub! You can tell it is a well-loved pub by many - there are a few regulars we see at each visit who you can see chatting with the staff. I also really love that the pub is dog and walker friendly. The food is really flavourful and served at a good temperature. My personal favourite is the chicken wings with the Saucy Cow BBQ sauce - they're so so yummy! <3 There is a good range of drinks on offer, and their food menu is extensive. This pub also hosts live music, inside and/or out (dependent on season/weather). Me and my partner stayed to see Alter Ego perform, and they were grand! I love that The Onslow Arms hosts up and coming talents. I also love the decor, inside and outside the pub. If you're going for a walk along the canalside, I seriously recommend popping into the pub for a pint! Me and my partner plan on coming back again.

Brilliant find, on the canal, excellent service from staff, delicious and well priced meals, dog friendly and we are definitely coming back. Advice would be to book ahead.

A treat for us. Lovely walk along the canal, then Sunday lunch. Huge plate of food and a great deal of meat. Didn't bother with pudding, but I would have liked more choice if I'd had the room. Pub was very busy (lunch time), so i recommend booking.

Ordered from the table via the app, everything turned up in 10 minutes, hot and tasty. Lovely pub, lovely people, lovely location.
