The guilty hotel owner has been keeping deleting the real NEGATIVE comments. Won’t mark 1 if there’s an option of 0. Not worth wasting money here where the owner/manager doesn’t have the basic right attitude or work ethics to show fairness or care customers with flexibility, only with arrogance and indifference instead. We got Covid tested positive with symptoms days before we were to make the trip, unfortunately, we had to cancel the trip and stay home as per VIC GOV requirements. I called and emailed the property directly in person and via Agoda to request refund the fees I paid due to the genuine hardships that we are experiencing. I do understand that when I booked the room it said un-refundable, however, I did have explained in detail to the property that we truly didn’t expect the unforeseen sickness and it’s not because we changed our mind that we had to request the cancellation and refund, even partial refund, and I requested at least twice if they could provide any exceptions due to the special case scenario, apart from policy. Disappointingly, the property manager insisted that it’s their policy and NO ROOM FOR REFUND INCLUDING PARTIAL REFUND, NO RESCHEDULING, NO REMEDIATION, NO EXCEPTIONS at all, and they paid little respect or offered no fairness to customers who have genuine difficulty and hardships, which is really terrible and frustrating. Unlike another hotel I booked in the same scenario that they showed compassion and fairness where they were happy to refund with great customer service provided, on the contrary, it’s ridiculous that the owner of THIS Best Western hotel kept saying I should’ve chosen another choice when booking where free cancellation can apply, and that’s the way he handballs to customers and how he proves himself pays carelessness and ignorance to customers that are in hardship. They don’t care about goodwill or reputation but only profits and money. They are quite profitable and prosperous, but no work ethics at all.

This hotel was truly amazing! The cleanliness of the hotel room was spectacular; the staff have done an amazing job at making the rooms look their best. The service we received was fantastic and the staff members were very friendly. The hotel is located in a great spot as many attractions are easily accessible and are only a short walk away. The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious dishes and once again, had wonderful staff. We really appreciate your effort to make this hotel the very best it could be. We will definitely recommend Olde Maritime to others and will stay here if we return to Warrnambool in the future.

Raj and his team delivered outstanding service - accomodating several special requests with kindness and professionalism. They've really made the most of what would otherwise be a modest motel - adding little extras to make it feel like a 5 star experience. Immaculately presented, premium soaps, shampoo and conditioner, bickies and tea, superb restaurant on site (providing room service too) You must try Raj's signature breakfast! Everyone is so lovely and authentically friendly. Cannot recall having such a fabulous experience even in the poshest places.

I recently booked accommodation for a group of guests at this hotel and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. Very impressed with the staff, and the facilities. Quaint, cosy rooms with modern comforts. Great location, close to the beach and parks. Was a bit disappointed with some of the furniture in the room, as we spent a bit of time in the room. (No couch and uncomfortable dining chairs). Also keep in mind, for accessibility, not all rooms are on ground level. Lovely attached restaurant with room service options. Thank you for a lovely stay.

What a wonderful stay I had at this motel. I was in Warrnambool for a wedding and needed an early check in so I could freshen up and change. Nothing was too much trouble. Very friendly staff at both Check in and check out. I got a basic room but was still well appointed. Comfortable bed. Great shower. Very clean. This will be my first choice if ever I stay in Warrnambool again.

Clean room. Good space, except the room was advertised as Queen bed but was offered as double instead. A rat (literally) scratched a wall all night

Raj and Bronwyn couldn't be more accommodating as due to a bike accident Bronwyn drove us to Hospital emergency, provided a shower chair after and also drove us to train station due to me being unable to walk far. Also picked up us up from station on arrival. Room was lovely and large, breakfasts were delicious and not your usual scrambled eggs etc All staff were very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Felt a wonderful warmth between all. Would highly recommend this getaway accomm. Not far to walk into city centre, and just across the road from Sound and light show etc. Would give 10 stars if could. Yvonne and Bruce

My go to place for work visits. Lovely and clean, always accommodating to my needs and great food from clovelly delivered through room service. Fast wifi and good range of foxtel stations. Convenient there is a gym and laundry room on site. Close to all amenities.

Stayed here in one of the suites for the long weekend. The rooms were very neat and clean. Staff were very friendly and kind. Staff were willing to go above and beyond helping us. Food , esp. coffee was too good. Close to the beach and parks. Loved the stay here.

Great location. The room was clean, and well presented. I would not describe it as luxury as was listed on the booking site but rather as neat, tidy, clean, and serviceable. Recommend.

Loved the room . Close to town, central location and no road noise . Loved the make up removal wash cloth -fabulous idea! Bed firm ,but fine.

Stayed here in room 23 with my partner from the 11/01/23 - 15/01/23 and we were very happy with the service from all staff and the quality and cleanliness of the room was perfect for what we needed during our stay, only small thing we could pick on was the room above us had really creaky floors so occasionally we had a bit of trouble sleeping with the guests upstairs walking around late at night, but aside from that we will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the area. Food from the restaurant is also really nice, we thoroughly enjoyed our room service breakfasts :)

Only been here an hour and super impressed, accomodation buildings that make you feel apart of the town history, reception was warm and welcoming, room is fantastic, bathrooms are up to date, and only a short stroll from the beach, cafe, and local watering holes. Absolutely recommend this for a short or long stay :)

We had a lovely time during our stay over Christmas. Communication throughout was fantastic, our rooms were kept in pristine condition every day, and the quality of the room was excellent. Beth and Raj looked after us throughout our stay and both of them were warm, personable and professional. I’d highly recommend staying here

I can't add many stars as I didn't get to stay here. They stuffed up my booking. Apparently one staff member doesn't know her Tuesday from a Wednesday. I had a room booked only for them to tell me, when I was 4 hours away from home that they were fully booked. Found an establishment with competent and helpful staff and lovely rooms. Will be passing on this information to work colleagues to be VERY careful when dealing directly with the motel staff.

The Queen Size Bed was so comfortable & luxurious, we could have stayed longer, plus the room was modern & cosy. Recommended stay here. Near everything

This has to be the best place I have ever stayed. The owners, Raj and Bronwyn take pride in making you feel very welcome. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant which was excellent.

I have always thought that Raj has been Fabulous here. But unfortunately he was away today with the dreaded Man Flu. The Wonderful Courtney has stepped up to the plate and has done a Fantastic job today managing both the Motel and Restaurant side of things. Welldone Courtney!

Upon arrival we were greeted with happy smiles from staff.Excellent all round!close to shops.very clean bed was comfortable shower awesome.we didn't have a microwave in our room though.this would have been very handy!

We had a great stay at the hotel. Room is clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and Ebony served us like 5-star hotel guests. Excellent and welcoming service by Courtney. We will be back and book the two-bedroom next time. Room price is included breakfast which is really reasonable. Very happy with our stay.

Great stay for 3 nights…. Raj and team are very welcoming. Rooms are spotless and very comfortable…. Clovelly restaurant is perfect for breakfast attached to the motel, with good menu… We had Dan looking after us in the restaurant and did a great job with a big group of us ordering…. Will hopefully return and definitely would recommend..

The whole team at the hotel were incredible! The room was beautiful and clean. The food was amazing! I had car issues which they helped me with straight away. It was Such a delight to be there over the new year. Raj you should be so proud of everyone that works there. Will absolutely stay here again when in Warrnambool.

Very happy with my stay at Best Western Olde Maritime. Exceptional customer service from Raj and team. They made me feel extra special as a guest. I got a lift from the station, my dinner was kept warm after hours, I got a phone charger as I forgot to bring mine. Everything smooth and perfect. Highly recommended!

I would like to say a BIG thank you to all of the lovely staff at Best Western Olde Maritime who really looked after us during our first time visit to Warrnambool. The location is fantastic – its in the middle where you can easily walk to the main town and visit the shops and also take a stroll down to Lake Petrobe and the Hot Springs. It is also across the road to Flagstaff Maritime Village so it’s a really convenient location to watch the night show and go back to rest for the night. The room was spacious and clean and had all the amenities. Beds and pillows were nice and comfortable. We got the bed and breakfast special and the food was fantastic and nicely portioned. The hospitality of all of the staff at Best Western Olde Maritime is really second to none. Lovely people with smiles who really go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They were really accommodating to our requests, gave us tips and pointers and recommendations on things to do at Warrnambool. You can tell that the customer service is exceptional – from remembering our preferences for dessert, cookies included in the rooms, Japanese folding technique with the toilet paper/tissues, filling up our water bottles, additional bath towels requested by us were warm and even gave us a lift to the train station even though they were busy. Great stay. Excellent and friendly staff. Made us feel welcome and helped us where possible. While the mattress was bit firmer than desired, reception made arrangements for a topper to be placed on. Great location. Clovelly suited our needs too with excellent dinner and breakfast. Overall, very happy I stayed.

First of all, it’s in a very convenient location only a few hundreds steps away from flagstaff shipwreck center. The rooms are cosy and clean. We booked a king heritage and it’s a lovely and well maintained suite. The surrounding of the hotel is very homely and peaceful. The staffs were amazing, especially Raj. He was very friendly and greeted us with a big smile.He took his time to make sure we were aware of the nearby places. Our stay was amazing and we can’t wait to go back again.

Great location. Crisp white clean sheets on a big king bed. Loved the hot tub and being able to fit in it properly. Best feature though was the wonderful staff, especially Courtney who was so hospitable, kind and friendly even when I must have been a bother doing work on my laptop in the sitting area. What am amazing place! Exceptional customer service, in particular, a big thank you to Zilvana, who picked us up from the station and drove us around showing Warrnambool's beautiful highlights. She was wonderful, as were all of the staff (Mark and Courtney) who went out of their way to make us comfortable. Hotel is in a great location, close to town and station. Has a lovely bar and restaurant, so handy. Room is clean, cosy, comfortable. Our stay was awesome. Highly recommended! Thank you.

Definitely recommend this Best Western when staying in Warrnambool! Room was very clean, beds were extremely comfy and heater kept us warm. Handy to have a gym, bar and restaurant available on site. Raj and the team were some of the most welcoming and hospitable people I've come across. I really couldn't rate these guys higher. It really should be considered a 5 star hotel. My partner and I were more than pleased with our entire stay. The attached restaurant hands down has the best food in Warrnambool. We had meals at a bunch of places in town, but clovelly restaurant was just amazing.

We stayed in the family mezzanine room for 2 nights. The room is spacious and extremely clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is renovated with everything you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is close to CBD. We will definitely come back.

We would not look to stay anywhere else if ever back in Warrnambool. A great motel and so close to town and easy walk across the road to flagstaff hill. Our family (2 adults 2 children) stayed 1 night in the Heritage Family Mezzanine room which was spotlessly clean and very well maintained with really comfortable beds. Lots of modern luxurious features as the room has been quite recently renovated which we thought was amazing value for what you get. Kids loved sleeping upstairs with their own tv! We had breakfast in the restaurant and could not fault the service or the food either. We did find a bit of a steep staircase to access the room but was not a problem for us at all, however if you have mobility issues I would recommend contacting the hotel before booking the same room type as we did to discuss.

Room was clean and well stocked I loved the little touches like the cookies, make up face towel and beautiful smelling hand and body wash. Awesome location, close to everything. Customer service was A+ thank you to Zilvana for making check in and out quick and easy, she was very friendly and helpful.

Recently stayed at the Best Western Olde Maritime hotel during a work trip. Checking in was a quick and easy process with very helpful staff. As this was a work trip I didn’t spend much time in the room but the parking out the front was very helpful. Quality of the room I had can be seen in the attached photos.

Lovely greeting at reception. Very welcoming. The room was super quiet, very clean and very well set up. The bed was warm and comfy. I would definitely book here again.
