Beautiful lake. Pink in colour. Nature's wonder. Heard the colour is due to bacterial reaction and or activity. Visited in winter and its still Pink. In summer this would be very dark Pink. The lake has a walkway and concrete steps up to a point and then it's sand. No wheelchair access unfortunately. This area also has a rest area with toilets, garbage bins, picnic tables and plenty of car parking. Toilets are not very clean but acceptable. Other areas are really fine. Very famous with travellers. Worth the visit.

1st time, I've seen a pink lake. Amazing. The salt around the lake is a bit mushy as you walk closer to the lake. There's a public restroom. Oh, and the cloud formation there is wonderful. It might be because of the lake or just a coincidence at that time.

Never thought that I would be seeing pink lake in Victoria. Located within a shortest distance and is pink. Would recommend highly for a visit.

What a beautiful spot, very popular. The day we were there it was very windy with a chill in the air. Didn't stay long, waited for the clouds to let the sun shine on the lake which showed how lovely the pink was. Amazing to see

It's next to the main road and you can see the pink color from the road. There are quite a lot of insects these days.

OMG its beautiful, a must see. The colours vary with the weather, if the suns over the lake it's so bright pink. It was cloudy & windy when we seen it, but we just wanted & then it came alive. A must see.

Nature's wonder!! Amazing place to visit and saw a pink lake for the first time. It's not that far from the main freeway but found that the facilities particularly the toilets, picnic area were not that clean.. The lake itself was amazing and a great spectacle!!

It's easy to miss on the way back, hard to tell when you walk close It's pink or not. Keep your distance and you'll find the beauty

more of a temporary stopover on the Melbourne-Adelaide route to go to the restrooms or rest. but... a pink lake does exist behind this route and the color looks interesting when illuminated by the moon. latest review - that was the review when I arrived here at night. but everything changed when I arrived the second time in the evening. there was nothing interesting and absolutely no pink color to be found here. this place is more precisely a stopover just to go to the toilet. everything...only the smelly muddy lake.

Very scenic place to stop. Fascinating pink salt lake. Crusty salt edge. Get out, have a look and stretch your legs. It's just of the highway.

Trippiest place I've ever been to. It's surreal to see such a shade of pink as we did but we were blessed as the colour is dependent on environmental conditions so you cannot guarantee the colour. It's also worth noting that due to the salt there are tons of flies in the area which are likely to bother you.

Kinda good view. If you have a drone, you'll get a pink lake photo, otherwise it can't really be catched by camera or naked eyes. Please refer to the attached photos that are with NO filter or EDIT at all. LOTS of flies. Toilet available with no flushing system.

The lake was super glassy when we visited and looked fabulous.
