Right on my doorstep, me and the kids enjoy our time over here rain or shine. They offer fantastic Activities and wonderful birthday parties. Only problem is not many poo bins for dog walkers around the woods but there are some just have to hold onto bag and not hang up in the trees like some doughnuts. Something for everyone here! The cafe is a wonderful touch which are run by volunteers and the food is lovely when meeting up with friends for a day or afternoon out.

An oasis in the heat!! We found a seat outside the visitor centre and had coffee and ice creams. It was so relaxing and calm. It also gave my grand daughter the chance to run safely through the vast expanse of grass. Staff are wonderful and helpful. A great hub to explore the woods in the shade and enjoy the climbing frame nearby. Parking is also good.

It's a great little place nestled away at the bottom end of Belfairs Woods. A nice range of gifts and cards, some nice fresh cakes, good coffee and a great range of ice creams plus some hot and cold lunch options. A real suntrap and great starting point for a walk in the Woods

Lovely walk in Belfairs woods with my partner who managed to go through the woods in a powered wheelchair, with a bit of care to dodge the ruts in the dried mud it was fine . We then had refreshments in the cafe while sitting in the glorious sunshine

Always a great place to stop for a coffee with the family and the dog. Dogs are not allowed inside but the outside decking is large enough for quite a few tables and chairs. Sausage sandwiches, toast, toasted teacakes, ice cream and soft drinks all in offer. There are some interesting wildlife related things for young children to look at and get involved with inside and a wildlife trust gift shop as well.

Lovely little woods and nature reserve in a middle of Southend suburbs. Plenty to do for just about anyone. There's a hack trail for pony and horse riding. A woodland play area for children. Public golf course. The Essex Wildlife trust has a nice little cafe. Acres and acres of woodland paths to walk with the dogs. And nearby there's also a nice pub.

Have just found this woodland/park and we love going there. Nice easy walk through woodland. Golf course there and a disable horse riding centre. Lovely centre for a drink and food plus toilets. Noticed a lovely children's play area with wooden towers and slide. Dog loves it as well.

Nice little cafe with indoor & outdoor seating. Nice setting overlooking the golfing greens. Menu is small & simple but nice. Wildlife Trust has a small area of gifts to buy within the shop Outdoor area would benefit from some nice planting & upkeep

A welcome stop whilst walking in the woods. Close to kids woodland play area. Coffee could be better. Great birthday party packages for kids.
