    "Helpful staff and advice with looking for a suitable 8 seater dining table' Took delivery before Christmas, noticed a defect | mark on the table and said to use it until can replace in the new year. Call received recently to confirm replacement of part of the table surface so as new again, especially having spent so much money on one item of furniture. Looks great in our dining room and coordinates well with colour scheme etc.

    What a fantastic store! Aamir was so approachable, kind and helpful and helped us find the perfect dining table for us! I’m so pleased with my experience here, he made what I thought was going to be a long and tiresome experience a short and sweet one! Very happy with my choice of table and can’t wait for it to be delivered!

    Do not buy from here. I purchased a table and 4 chairs last year, October. They arrived in January which was great. I loved them. Until I noticed that one of the padded seats had come away from the back in March. I contacted the store but communication was poor and it took 3 weeks for someone to contact me. Once I’d sent the photos through to customer service I had to wait for the manufacturer. One month later they agreed it was faulty. I am still waiting for the chair to be replaced. It is now 8 weeks I have been waiting. Yet again I had to contact customer service to be told I needed to give it 2 more weeks. Please please do not buy from Furniture Village. Their customer service is atrocious.

    Avoid like the plague. Ordered a bed it come after 12 weeks which we understood due to covid. It was making clanky noises when you would lie on it. Eventually the screws that was holding it in place broke and the bar supporting the bed nearly snapped in half of you had kids it would definitely be worrying. the bed has been broke for 6 weeks now as you can see in the picture it’s not in sleeping condition. Customer service… they will certainly give you a brain tumour it’s that bad. From pillar to post as if it’s one big act that they will fix it. I am going to ask them to refund it today and pick the bed up but I can imagine that would take another couple of months. DO NOT RELY ON THEM FOR HELP. They have had plenty of scandals with trading standards and I am not surprised. I have a friend that’s a journalist I am going to her in hopes to expose my story and this company. Keep an eye out in the news.

    Choosing our new sofas was really easy. Paul at Furniture Village listened carefully to our list of requirements and provided us with some good choices. His experience and knowledge was very helpful. We have bought from him in the past so it was lovely to meet up with him again. Highly recommended.

    Very good experience shopping at Furniture Village and the service received off “Kush”. Helped us decide on our purchase with his experience and knowledge of products. Extremely patient, and never over pushy to make a sale. Just hope that our purchase arrives 100% as expected.

    I would avoid buying from here. I've spent a lot of money on bedroom furniture for some of it to arrive damaged. I clearly want confirmation that a replacement has been ordered and a timescale for delivery. After care don't seem to be able to do this easily. We have to follow a process. This is causing me so much stress. I've paid good money and want my item replaced. I would advise you not to spend your hard earned money here

    A bit of a delayed post, but ordered a sofa set back in Jan and got it delivered at the end of March. We dealt with Kush, who gave us really good advice and felt like he was listening to what we needed rather than trying to just get a quick sale. Really happy with all the interactions we have had, including the delivery team and after sales care.

    Very pleased with the helpfulness of the staff in this store. Greeted us on arrival but then left us alone until we required help. Happy to hold a piece of furniture for me for the afternoon so I could have some thinking time. Totally recommend this store. 👌

    A very nice place to browse and buy a quality sofa, footstool, mattress and bed. The salesman Adrian was very, very helpful and patient - my husband spent an hour lying on mattresses ! All of our queries were fully answered and Adrian's depth of product knowledge enabled us to very happily and confidently make our purchases. Follow up was superb as well. Lovely people to deal with and looking forward to our quality furniture bought at a very good price, arriving soon. Thanks very much for your excellent service.

    Imran Khushi was pleasant, knowledgeable about the product and attentive without being pushy. He explained the ordering and delivery process clearly and addressed a possible query about the numbering of the colour swatch, promising to confirm the number of our colour choice was correct. Altogether a pleasurable shopping experience.

    We bought a sofa bed from Adrian who was really helpful. He listened to what I was looking for and guided me to the different options. In the end we bought a clearance sofa that fitted the bill perfectly. I loved the fact that Adrian did not try to up sell too much. He showed me all the alternatives but was happy to sell me the sale item. The product appears to be excellent quality. Italian made (which we have previous experience with) so we expect a quality product

    I've purchased from here before and their customer service and support have been amazing. The last 3 days I've been supported by Adrian who helped me identify which mattress would help and support me. Obviously didn't rush me into a decision and its important to think about your purchase and budget as its a big purchase. Adrian was very helpful and informative as i needed to ensure the mattress would support my she's and pains. The 2 other members of staff i spoke to were also extremely helpful. I've finally identified the bed and mattress I want and for a great price. 20 year guarantee on the physical frame on the bed, all mechanisms on the ottoman covered for 2 years but this is extended with the cover. It's Well worth taking out the cover as I had this cover with my sofa 10 years ago. You never know what the kids or animals get up to behind your back with paint and scissors to hand. The sort you get with the cover to fix things really helps.

    I was served by Adrian Ford at furniture village in Solihull, who was very helpful in guiding me to purchasing my new bed and mattress. Adrian was polite, helpful and knowledgeable in choosing the right bed and mattress for me and would recommend anytime. Will look forward to receiving delivery in November.

    Visited Furniture village several times in Shirley Solihull and placed order with Rakesh who is a top rate salesman who provides top rate service and made ordering a real pleasure. We went back several times and was always made to feel special as we changed our order to get exactly the type of corner suite and table that was just what we were looking for. Would reccomend the Shirley Solihull branch of Furniture village and also Rakesh as a most friendly and helpful salesman.

    I placed an order for an arm chair in May this year. I was told the item will be delivered in 4 to 6 weeks time. Contacted the store after 6 weeks and only to be informed by the store that it will actually take 12 weeks. The person I dealt with in store was one Mr Khush. Man doesnt even know whats happening in store. Now its october (more than 12 weeks) and the item was due to be delivered and I arranged day off. the delivery guy phoned up to say that they cannot make it since the delivery van is broken down. I tried ringing back to arrange for an alternative day for delivery. They never picked their phone up and never even apologized for the inconvenience caused. All they say is you can cancel your order if required. What sort of customer service is this? Also, even the sales person at shirley doesnt know whats the contact number for their warehouse in wednesbury is. Guys, if possible please avoid this store in future. Especially the one in Shirley. These guys never respect a customer and their situation. This was my first ever experience with furniture village and its been a nightmare since. This will also be my last purchase I wouldn't even recommend them for anything. I would like to give no stars at all. However, it wont allow me to post my review without putting a star. Therefore there you go, 1 STAR that newer exist.

    I bought a wardrobe which I had delivered several weeks ago now that was damaged, no one is taking responsibility for, I’m still having to chase, if I’m lucky enough for someone to finally answer the phone I’m being informed someone will get back to me, which hasn’t happened, no one has contacted me, I had a technician call to my address to check the item which he agreed I need a replacement part, and heard nothing since, I’ve paid full price for damaged goods, I’m not happy. I will have to make a journey to the store in the near future as I’m getting nowhere by phone, I will not be buying from this company again.

    I was very concerned about delivery of our goods when our due date was cancelled, and informed of the potential cyber attack ! Was told we would hear in due course, but then heard nothing for a couple of weeks. I then contacted the Solihull store and spoke to Yousef, who was most helpful, he took my details and said he would look into it for me. Which he did, got back to me promptly. He spoke directly to supplier, arranged for goods to be delivered to warehouse. Said the store would be in touch to arrange delivery within a couple of days. Today I received my goods in perfect order ! Considering the situation Furniture village are in, (the cyber attack) I found YOUSEF a most helpful and responsive person to help deal with this situation, a credit and valuable team member. Thank you once again

    My order from Furniture Village has been a nightmare. I ordered a sofa bed, double bed and headboard on 5th June. It's 3rd August now and I still haven't received my goods. When I made my order at the Shirley branch their computer system was down due to a cyber attack. When my order was transferred onto the system the incorrect delivery address was entered. The company have been trying to sort out a delivery since. Until I visited the store again in person and their Sales Manager finally took control of my complaint last week, I had been calling their store after sales line regularly with either no response, or on the odd occasion that I got through I received mixed messages from the staff on progress of my delivery. An entirely disappointing and frustrating experience and I wouldn't recommend purchasing from them if you want efficient service, particularly if your required delivery address is not your usual home address.

    We went to Furniture Village with the Intention to buy a Suite for the living room, a Suite for the snug in our new extension and a 6 place dining table and chairs. The welcome from the non-invasive staff was excellent, with the knowledge that we were in the best of hands, we looked around. We were introduced to Kush. A likeable chap, with the knowledge we needed, to help us choose. The Dining table and chairs were an easy choice for us, as the wife and I have the same taste. All was explained, and we decided to add the matching sideboard to the order. My wife then found the Corner suite she liked, for the lounge. Would you know that such detail goes into the individual design and manufacture? Once we settled for the pet friendly material, as opposed to leather the choice was made simpler, with no hard sale and a very attentive member of staff. I then chose the corner suite for the snug. As soon as I sat in the store model, it was another easy choice. Again, Mr Kushi was not pushy (I'm a poet, and didn't know it). The coffee was far from undrinkable and tasted devine, nor would it ever warrant a star removed, after getting such an excellent service so far!!! So, to round off this review, Kush was great, our shopping experience was great, and I look forward to taking delivery of our purchases, even if it may take some time to deliver, the wait will make it oh, so sweeter. Well done Furniture Village Solihull.

    Was shopping with my Son for a settee for his first home . Was asked if we needed any help on measurements as we had spotted a corner sofa we liked , Paul went above and beyond helping choose fabrics and giving different options , even asking to see the lounge and suggesting the corner going the other way which made sense . Paul even looked through smaller items as the sofa was only £5 off been able to save another £50 with the offer that was on so ended up with a super clock that only cost £5 , also enjoyed. Nice coffee and hot cookie . Paul Jackson deserves a shout out for his customer service
