I opted for the flamingo £30 VEGETARIAN platter. The price increased by £5 ,not updated on website( still says £25) I was shocked, when I saw how little good there was and doubled checked in case that had made a mistake,they hadn't. The amount of food was a pitiful disappointment and clearly over priced. Dishes were MISSING. I will not be going there again.

Food was very awful and the resturant smells like a toilet.A bad smell was emanating from the toilet that is located in the basement.we had to move to the tables located in the first floor but still that area was also smelling like a dirty toilet.it was disgusting to eat food while breathing a bad smell. The waitress was not welcoming and the service they provided us was also very poor. I don't recommend to anyone to go there and dine and l will never go back there until they improve their service.

I am half Ethiopian and I can honestly say that this is the Best ethiopian restaurant in London. Very traditional flavors, excellent quality and quantity and cozy environment. Prices are great as well! I go there at least once a month.

Hadn't been there since last year. Went with a good friend and her parents. Nice meal, company. Pity the restaurant didn't have Tej . Typical Ethiopian honey based drink. Apart from that everything was great

Good injera and all type of sauces n meats. Thank God they changed the receptionist/waitress! The old one was so bad, no smile no greeting really bad customer service. Last time I went there the new girl she even gave me extra dry meat zilzl quanta and she is very welcoming. I don’t know why almost all habescia restaurants they have this girls working that they don’t smile they just staring at you like a weirdo. Please learn to have good customer service is not all about the food some/most people wants to have good experience! Come on put some good impressions to other cultures!

My first time here and I have to say the food was brillian! Unlike any other cuisine. A large platter of meat and veg dishes served with flat bread to eating all with. No cutlery needed!! Amazing experience and so cheap in comparison to other restaurants but excellent quality and taste. Will definitely be returning!

Warm welcome, good price, and delicious food in a cosy atmosphere. Poor wine choice but we'll be back again.

Beware, food is hotter than chinese and indian. Didn't find service unusually slow, it was the same like all places serving fresh food. I missed a hot towel, lemon zest or at least a wet wipe so that I can clean my hands after eating.

I went to Flamingo Ethiopian restaurant with my friends, I had bad experience at there. The food is very bad and no cleaning and also there is a bad smell👎 The owner doesn't know how to run the business and how to welcome customers😏

While the food was Okay the server was an absolutely unhelpful and untrained as she refused to acknowledge the offer scheme restaurant presented via Tastecard. Despite us making a phone call ahead of arriving and confirming that we would be availing the discount. She wasted nearly 20mins of our time stating that we should have mentioned the card again after entering the restaurant. She almost acknowledged that if we had stated it before the food offered would have changed. Which again goes against the policy of what they claimed to have offered. Disappointing to say the least.

Arrogant Waitress and rotten meat very bad restaurant. This is not thr ethiopian food I know it is a scam to sell boiled meat that has been kept for a week as fried meat(tibs) which should be made fresh. Dangerously negligent staff even afyer informing the Waitress about the problem and we told her the food is smelling bad as the meat is rotten she refused to do anything. We had to pay for a food that we were not able to eat. I don't recommend at all avoid this restaurant to be safe from food poisoning. In addition to this they have no allergies information.
