I absolutely love this place. The house and grounds are beautiful. It’s within a stones throw of the South Downs Way and 5 minute walk to Amberley train station. The accommodation was super clean and the owners were very detailed and thorough with Covid-19 cleaning. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, the facilities were excellent, the rooms were spacious and the common area was a welcome breakout area with all of the facilities and accessories one could ever need. The owners took great care with every detail, all which went unnoticed. This is an excellent place to stay and at the price I paid it was an absolutely bargain. The breakfast bag was a nice touch and filled me up for breakfast and some of lunch time too. Highly recommend this place.

Best price in a lovely farmhouse setting with a self-service laundry. A must stay when trekking/cycling through the South Downs. I stopped of here during November 2021 & June 2022. I recommend.

Fantastically well-appointed bunkhouse, with stunning location, spacious high-ceilinged rooms, comfy beds, wonderful courtyard and superb shared facilities. Ideal for anyone doing the SDW. The owners were away but had sorted out a continental breakfast and packed lunch in the fridge for the next day. Highly recommended đź‘Ś

This is a top place to stay if you are walking the SDW or just visiting the area . Great facilities Kate and her family went above and beyond to make our visit an extremely pleasant one . [we were 5 men of a certain age on a 4 day walking holiday and this was our starting place] Cannot recommend this place highly enough

We stayed in the Farm B and B sude if the business. A lovely warm welcome, well appointed rooms and a fab breakfast. Would certainly recommend staying here.

A brilliant stop over for bikers tackling the South downs way. Perfectly set up for cyclists & walkers. Staff even went the extra mile for another group of cyclists who were running late by driving out to pick up a takeaway and beers for 3 tired guys after all the local hostelries were full due to the Goodwood festival. Doesn't get much better than that. Highly recommended

Arrived cold and tired warm comfortable bunkhouse all modern clean and tidy . Nice hot showers . Very cold and snowy weather so got the log stove going wood provided . The kitchen has a hob microwave fridge. Laundry room next door to main kitchen area . ÂŁ2.50 in honesty box for a wash and tumble dry . Good pub 300 yards away . Breakfast provided instant porridge banana bread jam butter . I paid ÂŁ34 for one night best value I've had this trip . Top it all the snow made it very difficult for my dog and to see the path so I was given a lift to my next stop very kind above and beyond !!

Not the easiest place to get to on foot, but you will be glad when you make it there. Fantastic old house that we loved. Beautiful gardens too. Our bed was the comfiest thing i have slept in for years. The proprietor was extremely helpful and actually took us to the local pub to eat AND brought us back. Very kind of her.

we took over 3 of the 4 rooms on a bank holiday Saturday for the 15 cyclists in our group. We all had a great nights sleep (despite some complaints of snoring!). Communication with Kate was excellent leading up to our stay, the bunkhouse was lovely and clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Great bike storage too. Will definitely return.

Great location for the South Downs and the River Arun. The owners are friendly and helpful. Ideal for small groups, or larger groups. We booked the whole place for a work social and there was plenty of space.

Thank you to Kate for allowing me to hire the bunk house and function room for a Hen do. It was perfect! The bunk house was fabulous, clean, tidy and all that was needed for a big group of people. The function room was a great size and the space was fabulous for the evening do. The outside area was brilliant especially as we were lucky and the sun was shining. I organised food from a local caterer Bake Em-Girl, hired a silent disco and organised some other entertainment. Can’t thank Kate enough for allowing us all to stay there. It really was perfect and couldn’t have gone any better. Fun memories.

Great stop over that would have been better if it was for longer.

Amazing host, very kind and helpful. Rooms are great for the money and it's not far from the trail. Recommend to all hiking the SDW!
