We booked a single room for two people for 3 nights: 1. NO WIFI in our room.It’s almost 2020,it’s really unbelievable that the hostel has no WiFi. The reception has WiFi but not in our room. 2.The bed is very small.About 1.3m something.It’s really not big enough for 2 person. 3.The bed is not stable at all. When I turn around in the bed during sleep, the bed makes a lot of noise. We were woken up by this loud noise several times every night. 4.The shower is cold. The warm water can only hold for about 5 mins,we took cold shower all 3 nights. 5. The noise-control of the room is really bad.We can even hear the sound when people in nearby room using toilet or taking shower. Our room faces to the road, it’s super noisy.We were woken up several time all nights. 6.The reception girl is not so friendly or helpful.

We were staying here for a night. Everything is clean, staff are very hospitable. I would definitely recommend the place.

The hostel is great, its facilities are very good and it's very clean. The location is perfect for tourism, as well. But I had a bad experience because I couldn't sleep well. It was summer, the night was very warm and I attempted improve the temperature of the bedroom leaving the window open but the outside area was very noisy... Unfortunately.

Very cheap and clean - it is all what you need. And it's in a very good location, by the way. There are small lockers with keys where you can put all important stuff (about the size of a hand luggage suitcase). Kind receptionists :)

Great place to stay for a few nights to see Madrid. The house, rooms and bathrooms are clean and well made. The breakfast in the morning is various and delicious. Thank you so much for the stay!

2 minutes away from a metro station. Lots of restaurants and tourist attraction areas nearby. Very clean. No room service. Good breakfast.

THE GOOD The location is close to a lot of restaurants and supermarkets. The staff is nice too and professional. THE BAD There is no WIFI connection inside the room I stayed in, neither outside the room in the 2nd floor, contrary to what they are advertising. My rooomates are so inconsiderate. They won't stop talking inside the room even though it is already midnight. Another person woke us early in the morning because she won't stop talking in her mobile phone. There is no way to lock the door, it means even people who do not sleep in that room can enter. One of my roommate said she lost a pair of gym clothes.

The location of the hostel is very nice in terms of closeness to metro and quiteness. The staff, especially Evana and Janet were my favorites and they were really helpfull and friendly people. About physical conditions, the air conditioning problem should be resolved and some rooms smell badly. Cleanleness was ok.

nice place, wonderfull staff, hot shower, free coffee and lots of happy people. Thank you Pil pil hostal for being :) . And the hostel situated in quite in the city center, so with some walk you can visit all the nice places . I was there with my bicycle, I am a bicycle traveler and I also could place my bicycle to a safe place. The Wifi is also good. Bye

We have stayed at Pil Pil Hostel so many times that our iPhones automatically connects to their Wi-Fi. The design of the hostel is bright and fresh. There is everything you need to make your stay easy and comfortable. The staff is very friendly as well as the environment is shining of cleanliness. It is our favourite accommodation in Madrid – close to everything you need as a tourist in Madrid.
