We've been searching for a great cake and desert spot ever since moving to Madrid. Unfortunately, this isn't it. From the historic street setting and cute decor to the great window display and glowing reviews, we thought we were on to a winner. But one bite in to the stale, tasteless cakes and we were instantly disappointed. We ordered two classics that any bakery should just be able to ace - a Red Velvet and a Death By Chocolate. The sponge in both cakes were identical apart from the colour - dry, stale and lacking any flavour. Perhaps the worst part of all was the use of cream (nata) for the frosting on the Red Velvet. It's almost criminal to call it a Red Velvet. It should be luscious cream cheese frosting. Not tasteless nata. I'd be shocked if there was any cream cheese used at all. And sadly, the indulgent looking chocolate cake lacked any chocolate flavor. Decorated purely for looks without any thought for flavour. The only positive was the friendly employee. This store clearly know how to make cakes look good. They just need to revisit their ingredients and make them taste good too.

Everything is absolutely fantastic!! I had a nutella brownie for my birthday and, besides the fact that it turned out to be huge (we are 20 people in my office), it was DELICIOUS. Literally everyone complimented!! (Besides, I also bought an oreo brownie piece for myself and it’s so good it feels like a drug) Also the staff is so nice! And the boxes are sooo cute🥺 Will totally Return

Awesome cakes in a small and cozy place. The staff is super friendly. You can expect waiting in a row to find a spot to seat during the afternoon.

the prices are worth the size of the slices of cake (4.20€) and they have interesting formulas for breakfast and more ! I took the Red Velvet cake and it wasn't the best I ever has but the slice was big and it was good ! my friends were happy with the kinder Bueno and chocolate cakes + the cookie ! Overall food experience

The cakes look better than what they taste. Nothing special about the 3 cakes we had. Waiter seemed to be a bit stressed about being by herself. A lot to improve

For some reason my cake wasn't ready when I requested. But the staff offered a quick and fair solution. They even gave me a free piece of cake as a token of compensation. 9/10

The cuatro leches was the best cake I’ve ever had in my life. Very friendly staff. Genuinely my favorite cafe experience I’ve ever had. My Spanish is not good, but I spoke a little and was able to communicate with the employee in Spanish who was super understanding about it. He even gave us a free slice of pineapple coconut cake. If I could rate it even higher than five stars I would.

They made a personalized cake for my husband and it turned out absolutely amazing. They were super professional and made his birthday very special. Will definitely order again

Cute interior with pleasant helpful staff. Both pieces of cake (tartas) were served directly from “cold case”. Difficult to truly taste all the flavors when so cold.

The place is okay. The products although don’t look fresh at all but they taste good. I got the brownies as recommended from the reviews but it was so stiff, more like a hard cookie. The strawberry cheesecake tasted nicely. The oreo cheesecake as well was light. The tres leche was nice but it had a bit of an after-taste. Personally, I wouldn’t try it again!

Wonderful and cozy Coffe/Bakery. We had an amazing red velvet cake, a cupcake and tee for less than 7$. The atmosphere is nice, quiet and cozy. The staff is friendly and you get free water+orange and ice as much as you want :)

Had red velvet and dulche de leche, can't decide which one is better. Both really tasty not to sweet, just perfect. Don't miss out on this

One of my favourite sweet cafes in Madrid. Glad to see it is still open. Staff always friendly and the cakes are fantastic. It is for those with a a love of sugar so if you love cake this is the place.
