Granny is our go-to place for authentic North Indian Punjabi food. Despite its unassuming setup when it started last year, it quickly won us over with the sheer quality of the food they serve. The owners are incredibly friendly and always make you feel at home whenever you step into their restaurant. We've tried a variety of dishes, and every one of them has been exceptional. The Egg Curry, Egg Bhurgi, Shahi Paneer, and Parathas are simply mouthwatering. What's even more impressive is that they use whole wheat instead of maida in their humble Phulkas. If you're on the hunt for top-notch North Indian cuisine in Whitefield, this is the place you absolutely must try. You won't be disappointed!

It's curbside joint that charges like a restaurant, ordered for butter chicken combo and fresh lime soda. The food was meagre average for the price I expected the butter chicken to taste like butter chicken which it tried hard but didn't, here's what went wrong it's of butter fragrance it was cladden with oil, for the first time ever I found peanuts in butter chicken which is quite unusual (read as cheap substitute for cashew) the rice was soggy, service was alright, it's was run by a uncle and aunty as far as I could figure. What irked me was the price and addition of service charge (although it was just rs. 10 ) it's not a fine dine 😅 total bill was 410, I wouldn't say it's worth it especially if you claim for authentic north indian food.

Taste and quality is good. Felt little expensive compared to the quantity. Definitely we ll visit again

We just tried the food. Awesome !! Owned by a punjabi family, very friendly and welcoming. Must try place, Homely taste, freshly and neatly cooked by their mom. Can expect delay in food preparation as they are made fresh on our order. Small eatery with 03 tables, they are also listed in online food portals. We tried Stuffed paratha, Jeera rice, Chkn masala, dal fry and Lassi. All wr very good with Punjabi homely to. Very good portions.

We ordered chapati, dal, paneer masala, laccha paratha. The food was so good...amazing quality and the atmosphere was nice.

The USP of Granny's is its Simplicity & Care of food served at a prices which are affordable. It is run by a warm elderly Punjabi couple whose love for its customers its showcased in the taste & quality of the food they serve. It reminds you a family member preparing food for you rather than just a business trying to serve up fast food dishes for a profit. The masalas are homemade, ingredients are fresh. A must visit or take away home cooked style food for people in Bangalore especially in Whitefield Area which is full of that over spicy Punjabi joints.

What can I say about Granny's. All this while I have been missing proper home made food. But now I have a one point destination to satisfy my taste glands. The food is extremely delicious and trust me I have almost tried most of the cuisines, and I have never been disappointed. The Punjabi non veg is the USP of Granny's. Too much costly compare to served quantity. We ordered aloo Paratha which is servered with small slice of butter only. No pickle ,no curd. We asked for curd and They have added curd charges for small katori of dahi. No any restaurant is charging for small katori of dahi that too 15 per serve. Service was satisfactory but location is not that much family friendly.

We're regular visitor's of Granny's restaurant, drawn in by their consistently high-quality food. So, when it came time to arrange catering for our society's function, we didn't hesitate to choose Granny's. They exceeded our expectations in every way. Their professionalism was impeccable, and they delivered exactly what we had hoped for. The food quality was simply outstanding, leaving all of our society members extremely satisfied. Initially, we had planned for just one day of dinner catering, but we were so impressed with Granny's unwavering commitment to quality that we extended it to three days with a variety of dishes. Each day's menu was equally incredible. The menu consisted of delectable dishes such as Matar Aloo Paneer, Dal Fry, Jeera Rice, Kadhi Pakoda, Curd Rice, Chana Masala, Veg Pulao, and Poori, all perfectly spiced to cater to various palates, even impressing our kids who didn't complain about the spices. All the dishes were prepared without onion and garlic. Everyone in our society praised the food quality, and it added to the enjoyment of our festive season. The pricing was reasonable, matching the high standards of the food and service. The owners were incredibly friendly and flexible, always ready to accommodate our last-minute requests.
