This place is currently a hostel for the students of Manipal prolearn courses. Here's my honest review after 2 weeks of stay. Pros: 1.Clean decent rooms, which are cleaned everyday. 2.Laundry and ironing facility. 3.Really good hostel staff. 4. The Breakfast,Lunch and Dinner served is good. 5. There's a shop on the ground floor for basic necessities/stationery and obviously Maggi. 6.There is a supermarket opposite the hostel. 7.The wardens are helpful and good. Cons: 1.Considering we are grown ups (23-30 years)and have worked, keeping a curfew of 8:30pm does not make sense as we aren't little school going kids. 2. You aren't allowed to wear shorts.. That includes the men. Like no shorts makes no sense at all. 3. If the cleaner men/ladies find anything in your room that isn't allowed in the hostel they will confiscate it without your consent. (And yes they have spare keys to enter your room to clean it, like seriously thoroughly clean it) 4.Hot water is made available only at 6:30 am - 8:00 am. If it runs out... Well good luck bathing in the cold water right from Antarctica.(Considering Bangalore has a real cool climate). Overall: The room is great, the food is great, the hostel staff is great. But the curfew and the no shorts rules don't make sense. I mean Manipal hostels in Udupi(students aged between 18-21 male as well as females) don't have any such nonsense rules and a curfew of 11-12 pm. Considering that we are adults and staying in Bangalore certain rules at Woodstock Ambience need to be improved on.

The receptionist and restaurant guys were really pleasant. Overall a pleasant stay with good ambiance and all facilities like laundry, restaurant,swimming pool, food court etc

One of the worst hotel I have ever used. They take only online booking. They don't have the ID proof as mandatory field. It allows you to book the hotel without providing ID details. During check-in, they ask ID for all the guests. Even if we don't have ID for one person, they do not allow to take the room. In any place, ID card of one person is accepted per group. But these guys argue un necessarily. The guy who argues was "Don". My booking id is: 660912. Worst experience. I will never book this hotel again. There is a better hotel at a decent price in the same area.

Rooms are spacious and clean, well maintained and decorated, there is a shop at the basement where you can get most of the basic things. There is a good parking space for visitors as well as people staying there.

The place is a hostel not a hotel, you have to choose between eggs or bananas for breakfast ofc with other additional menus , make sure you get tough blankets to survive the cold , food is decent for a canteen , cant roam around in shorts since this is a coed hostel and also they dont collect packages for you except courier .

Horrible place with uncourteous staff and no concern for their guests. Would have given 0 stars if I could. They even left my room unlocked after cleaning once and didn't even respond properly when i complained until i threatened of filing and FIR if items were missing.

Awsome place excellent infrastructure. Good rooms. Good security, Mess food is hygienic and have variety. Good cleaning service and helpful staff. Woodstock has certain rules which are to be fallowed. Safe for girls too.
