Tiffen
Center,
located
approximately
1km
from
the
bustling
Hosur
bus
stop,
caught
my
attention
after
a
friend's
recommendation.
Initially
assuming
it
to
be
a
vegetarian
haven
due
to
the
mention
of
mess,
I
was
pleasantly
surprised
to
find
a
diverse
menu
featuring
delectable
non-vegetarian
options
like
egg
parotta,
veechu
parotta,
and
cyclone
parotta.
The
mushroom
dosa,
plain
dosa,
and
onion
dosa
on
the
other
side
were
equally
praiseworthy.
One
unique
aspect
that
stood
out
was
the
self-serve
arrangement
of
gravies,
chutneys,
and
sambar,
allowing
patrons
to
customize
their
experience.
However,
the
downside
was
the
absence
of
seating
arrangements;
diners
could
only
stand
while
relishing
their
meals.
The
establishment
could
benefit
from
infrastructure
development,
especially
during
peak
hours
when
the
crowd
is
substantial.
For
those
opting
for
takeout,
a
minor
inconvenience
arises
as
you
need
to
pay
at
a
designated
counter
and
await
your
order
for
a
minimum
of
10
minutes
(with
a
nominal
parcel
charge
of
5rs).
Dining
in
requires
a
visit
to
the
cooking
area,
where
you
pick
up
your
plate
and
patiently
wait
for
your
chosen
items,
be
it
parotta
or
dosa.
These
operational
quirks
aside,
the
overall
taste
of
the
offerings
is
commendable,
and
the
pricing
remains
reasonable.
